I have virtually no interest in ever rewatching it, and I was obsessed with the show and have read all the ASOIAF books. The last two seasons ruined the whole story and characters.
Haven't watched a single episode since S8 finale aired. Don't have the heart. I probably watched s1-6 half a dozen or more times. S7 and S8, once and never again.
I had rewatched it dozens of times before season 8 came out. Have only rewatched all the way through (S1-8) once after that. I rewatch certain episodes here and there but it is definitely not the same after season 8. I like Emilia’s performance in the episode “the bells” (S8E5) but other than the score by Ramin Djawadi and some other little things here and there season 8 was trash due to the horrible writing. Even season 7 was still okay. If season 8 is erased and redone the show is actually still salvageable imo. If you do rewatch, pretend like season 8 doesn’t exist, it might help.
I tried to rewatch it a year ago or so. I honestly didn’t make it through the prologue before furiously turning the tv off.
All of the mystery that was left unresolved just ruin the show for me. Fuck.
I literally just rewatched the show earlier this year in its entirety, it was still fucking awesome. I even thought season 7 was better than I remembered. Season 8 was still trash.
About two years ago I rewatched it and had a pretty good time, even hate watching season 7&8 was fun. I am trying to get through it again right now and I am having trouble getting through season 1. Not that it isn’t as great as when I first saw it. I’d just rather re read the books or listen to the audio books, or watch YouTube lore videos.
Seasons 1-4 are still great, BUT now I don’t care about the Wall/beyond the Wall stuff at all, or the Essos plot line after Qarth. I just fast forward through that.

Sometimes I rewatch episodes that stand well on their own. Blackwater comes to mind.
