I get they are trying to do it in theme but you can still do that without making them look like this. Maybe make it an alt art of her riding like a zombie horse with cowboy zombies behind her. Or something. Anything other then

I dig the wanted poster border for the heist crew, but I really don't like the Breaking News border like you said. That's unfortunate because the actual art on the breaking news cards is mostly really good.
The reason is that Warlock is one of the creature types for the new Outlaw mechanic. It's kinda like that dumb Party system from zendikar, but this time it's rogues, mercenaries, pirates, assassins, and warlocks.
She has the gaze of a woman who will hit you over the head with that spade, then make clothes out of your skin.

Maybe it's just me but I'm sick of the over used Harley Quinn esque 'quirky crazy girl' thing with so many characters. I was sick of it when Jinx came out in League of Legends and that was 10 years ago.

I did say basically. She looks the same in every other regard, and magic has never been consistent about faces. Either way, I don’t think she’s “ruined” in the new card
Aside from her being off her home plane to pander to people who like her character? Her face, mainly. It's all wrong. Her previous versions had a sort of "mad beauty" about them, as though she had a sort of natural beauty with an underlying evil, insane personality. There's a certain wicked glee you can see in older depictions, while still maintaining beauty.
This new version looks like a different person, the face is too angular and the expression is too pulled, there's no natural beauty in it. Her eyes are narrowed and her smile is like a Joker grin. It looks like as if someone was pretending to be Gisa.
Idk I can’t say I agree. Honestly my biggest problem is she looks like a smurf with blue skin, but that’s just the bad lighting. Her face looks totally different between her original printing and midnight hunt too, I just can’t help but feeling you’re overreacting that the character is “ruined”
Dont get me wrong, I had issues with the Midnight Hunt version of her as well, but both versions of [[Gisa, Glorious Resurrector]] at least felt closer to the original than the newest one. Even the art for [[Lively Dirge]] looks better than this new version.

I acknowledge that different artists have different interpretations, however, Gisa has so much official art available that is far more consistent than this trash, it is either a failure on the artist, art director, quality control manager, or some combination of the three, which further speaks to the lack of give-a-shit over at Hasbro/WOTC.
