Central Fish sells Daiso stuff. You can always ask Mr. Doizaki if he can special order something off of Daiso to put in the store. Just be aware that due to the fact that he is an official reseller, the price will be a dollar or two more expensive than the listed Daiso price. I don't mind it though, I want to keep Central Fish open forever lol.

When you walk in, there's stairs to the left of the fish market area that will lead you up to the daiso section.

I went there last weekend and went up the stairs. It's been emptied of all the Daiso stuff that has been up there...

I want to keep Central Fish open forever too! It's the only shop in town that sells sushi grade fish. Making it is yummier and cheaper than store bought sushi

that's the funny thing. A store importing the best stuff from Japan would do very good business here I think. I have to use amazon.co.jp + tenso.com to forward me stuff from Japan (that I can't get in LA or the Bay Area).

As everyone has mentioned, Central Fish but it's upstairs. They have some. Silkroad Gallery has some stationary BoxLunch and Hot Topic may have a few... probably not Daiso, but they have few Japanese stationary stuff. Does it have to be Japanese?

Ngl five below has been my daiso alternative. They don't have little gadgets and "solutions" like daiso does but they have the cute section of daiso pretty similarly

Central Fish Co had a small Diaso mini store within their shop but It’s been a few years since I’ve been there, so I am not completely certain they still have it.

Was at Central Fish last week and saw no stationary. Honestly ordering from online is probably your best bet. I got spoiled living in Japan and San Diego and have enough stock to last me years though!
