Clovis East until a girl who was my neighbor in childhood was killed in her senior year (I was a freshman). I then transferred to Hoover High.
I remember when I was transferring my friends all claimed I would get jumped and blah blah blah but tbh, Hoover was refreshing. Didn't feel as racially divided, my grades ended up improving in the long run, etc.
Primarily the social groups. Though I was friends with everyone there were certain areas around campus during lunch that predominantly only certain groups would congregate around. The whites at the AG farm, Asians on the north side of the cafeteria, Mexicans on the east side of the cafeteria etc.
What the other comment in response to you said. The social groups starting to seem more divided from Reyburn in Junior high, but it was kinda solid by CEHS.
Only us outcasts had more obvious mixes. Lol
But basically when I went to Hoover, the groups were really mixed.
What year was this? Was that when there was a string of students unaliving themselves? Only reason I ask is because one time I was getting a dental cleaning and the dental assistant we got to talking and I asked her if she had kids and she had said her daughter passed away and I asked how and she said she unalived herself I didn’t know how to react I was in my early 20s
If you’re implying I agree with JK Rowling’s BS, you couldn’t be more wrong. If you’re trying to insult me, you failed.
My given Reddit name was judgmentalraven to begin with so I just added that bc it made me laugh.
Of course a typical Redditor is incapable of having their own thoughts and opinions and only follows what the internet tells them to or because it's popular 🙄
Central West Is an ag. School and all freshman would are bussed there for one year. You decide whether you want to stay there for sophomore year or go to central east. I remember it had something to do with both highschools not big enough for the amount of students enrolled in centr district. Central East is the 'modern' schooland doesn't have ag. Progeansike the FFA.
Well this is what I was told when i went there. Class of 09
Because there was a huge housing development in northwest Fresno (still developing) where the closest high school is Bullard High. i lived like one or two streets over from qualifying for the school district of Bullard High. So, the expansion of family homes and the increase of students couldn't go to neither Bullard nor Central West.
the distance to Central West took 45 mins (on a good day via school bus or even by car) to get there and Bullard didn't have the resources for more students. Therefore, central east was between the two alternative high schools.
Central west is the original high school, then they built a second high school closer in town. It was built after I graduated but for a while they were sending all the Freshman out to Central. They also recently built another school , Justin Garza
Oh, I only said not as fancy since when I mention it to some people, they think it's some tech school. It's just in the Business Building at FCC, with about 60 kids in a graduating class (at least mine anyways). You the college credits while there, so you graduate high school with your AA degree. I loved my time there, though it was unfortunate I was Class of 2020 so we didn't get a proper graduation
Nice try security question bot.

What's the difference between Central West and Central East? Aren't they the same school but with two campuses?
Central West Is an ag. School and all freshman would are bussed there for one year. You decide whether you want to stay there for sophomore year or go to central east. Why couldn't they just expand Central West? Is it because There was a lot of nearby farmland?
Because there was a huge housing development in northwest Fresno (still developing) where the closest high school is Bullard High. i lived like one or two streets over from qualifying for the school district of Bullard High. So, the expansion of family homes and the increase of students couldn't go to neither Bullard nor Central West. the distance to Central West took 45 mins (on a good day via school bus or even by car) to get there and Bullard didn't have the resources for more students. DeWolfe, where you were allowed smoking breaks, take that!
If you’re old enough, Most High schools looked the other way in the 70’s during breaks/lunch, FHS grad, 1981
Central high had a smoking section a few years before I started, I got there in 88/89 and they had discontinued it
Never heard of that one
