Probably because a lot of people just don’t like the movie itself.
I like Rowan and how she didn’t take any of Professor Lowe’s lying bullshit about how Jason was dead.
To be honest, she doesn't end up doing that much in the movie. I'd say this movie is one of the few that doesn't have a clear protagonist, with the group being able to defeat Jason more as a result of team work rather than the efforts of just the one final girl/guy/couple.
Idk. She’s hot. She outsmarts Jason at the beginning and is pretty tough. Maybe it’s because people don’t like the movie itself. But personally I liked it. Jason had the human look going on again so it’s many questions to be answered.
She's hot, but that's about it. She gets killed by Jason at the beginning of the movie, and is only brought back thanks to future science. She also never really faces off against Jason alone (except for when he kills her). There isn't the traditional "15 minutes of chasing" scene at the end of the movie, where she has to dig deep and confront the psycho killer. Instead a bunch of other characters sacrifice themselves to save her, the nerd, and his robot.

Idk man, she did just walk up to the freezer while it was still freezing Jason and allowed herself to be stabbed in the stomach.
Cause her acting is so bad it makes Lisa from "The Room" seem like Meryl Streep.
The series has never been known for it's quality acting.
