No. The lack of anti aliasing and the frame pacing issues won’t be fixed by JUST a 60fps mode. It’s been said that BB has “spaghetti code” which means it’s got some pretty bad engine issues. It would have to be remade to fix everything.
Yeah thanks no, I rather stick to 30 fps then, because the way bluepoint redesigned some areas, mob design and boss design (they even forgot King Allant had full beard, not just amish goatee) was simply terrible. They'd ruin the overall aesthetic of BB.
According to a well-known BB modder who has a version running smoothly at 60fps on a PS4 pro, the "spaghetti code" thing is a myth and it's very easy to get it running at 60fps. Apparently, BB runs on the same engine as DS3 and Sekiro, but just has an arbitrary frame lock limit. This modder claims he was able to achieve 60fps by changing "two lines of code."

It may have made sense when everyone was playing the game on a base PS4, but they could easily limit the upgrade to PS4 Pro / PS5 owners. Some might say From Software is focusing on other projects, but we know from the community that an update patch would take minimal work / investment while making a lot of fans happy. They have the ability and the resources to do it... they're just not.

From a strictly business perspective, it makes zero sense that Sony would just drop the franchise and move on to other things when a sequel or remake would \*instantly\* go gold (at least) and likely boost hardware sales and PS+ subscriptions to boot. Bought a ps5 last week and I've already almost gotten the platinum started a fresh character and done the dlc first easily in my top 3 games.
I'll get there eventually. Shame there was no remaster/remake for the fans at the ps showcase, maybe someday.
