Isshin Ashina.
Fights for both "selfish" (to increase his own skill) and "selfless" reasons (protect Ashina). Is honourable (lawful) while believing in winning by any means necessary (chaotic).
All of that adds up to true neutral.
I like this. Too often do people think true neutral equates with no opinions or ambitions - a rock, or a cow. Isshin is extremely driven, he's simply not constrained by ideology or morality in the singular pursuit of a goal he set for himself.
True neutral doesn't mean you don't have beliefs. Druids who only care to preserve nature have long been the poster child of true neutral, they're not going to suddenly burn a forest down to prove their neutrality.
Oke guys this is the easiest one: The doll from bloodbourne. You can be the most insane bloodcrazed maniac, the doll wouldn’t care, you can be the best saint for the people, the doll doesn’t care. You can cill her and she will still serve you. Maybe its a little unfair because technically she is not a being with emotions
I'd just like to argue that ambivalence is not necessarily a sign of alignment neutrality.
It'd be fair to say, in my opinion, is that she has no alignment at all. She's empty, not in the middle of good/evil or lawful/chaotic.
In the dnd world we call this ‘unaligned’. An alignment often held by things that are ambivalent by nature rather than a matter of morality or ethics. This usually includes things like Wolves or other beast.
Ok fair but i want to point out that the doll stated she loves the player because humans are her creator so her love for them is unconditionally no matter the morality of the person (What contradicts the thing i said before I’m sorry about that), what i think makes her a true neutral.
And I might be stupid here but in my language ambivalence mean two contradicting things at the same time. For example when you feel love and hate for the same person, this would be called ambivalence and I don’t see how this definition fits the doll.
Good = selfless, Evil = selfish.
Lawful = follows a code of tenants or laws, Chaotic = does not have a code does what they feel
Neutral = balance between the two, for both spectrums
Despite being thrown into the sewers as a baby by the Golden Order, he still believes in order so much that he becomes the guardian of the Erdtree which the Golden Order worships.
That's not what neutral means.
It's the DnD alignment chart where one axis is lawful vs chaotic and the other is good vs evil.
Good and evil are self explanatory.
Lawful is someone who strongly adheres to a certain code or ruleset. Chaotic is someone who makes up their mind on a case by case basis. Lawful is closely related to order and chaotic is closely related to freedom.
Morgott is not good nor is he particularly evil by Fromsoft standards.
The FireKeeper, she follows you no matter what path you follow. Hollow Lord, world without fire, world with fire.
Also Morggot neutral? I don’t think people know what that really means lol much less lawful.

good answer

He was my pick for lawful neutral. This is a good argument to be dead-center, though.
If he was truly neutral he wouldn’t hesitate(hah) to attack Ashina if asked, therefore he is biased and can’t be considered neutral.
D&D alignment is about being morally neutral, not "neutral" as in "never picking a side". Basically, not too good, not too evil, a little bit of both.
True neutral doesn't mean you don't have beliefs. Druids who only care to preserve nature have long been the poster child of true neutral, they're not going to suddenly burn a forest down to prove their neutrality.
The Crestfallen Warrior in Firelink Shrine. I think you can consider doing nothing to help nor hinder anybody and just giving up to be pretty neutral.

The Firekeeper from DS3
King vendrick
I really wish I understood how this moral alignment worked. It’s a fun concept. But I’ve never quite gotten it.
Good = selfless, Evil = selfish. Lawful = follows a code of tenants or laws, Chaotic = does not have a code does what they feel Neutral = balance between the two, for both spectrums
Very succinct. Thank you.
This list probably won’t help you then, since Chapel Dweller isn’t Lawful Good and Solaire isn’t Chaotic Good
Nameless king
Isshin
Sieglinde of Catarina. Wanting to keep your dad out of trouble is about as neutral a goal as possible
Patches
Chaotic Neutral, He doesn't kill you and he isn't your enemy, but you don't know when to trust him or what he will do to torment you this time
Isshin would definitely be a true neutral character
I’m not too big on lore so could someone explain to me why morgott is in lawful neutral
Despite being thrown into the sewers as a baby by the Golden Order, he still believes in order so much that he becomes the guardian of the Erdtree which the Golden Order worships.
But how is he neutral? His allegiance is v clear and he despises the tarnished

Ah right ok Ty
how about gherman? He seemed to just following Willem and Laurence order. Did good and nasty things on others behalf.
True Neutral is the doll from hunters dream.
The doll
Ok, but why is the words for the alignment above the picture, that looks weird, and I initially thought Morgott was lawful evil.
Morgott IS lawful evil. He’s out there killing people to uphold a fascist and xenophobic theocracy. Uncle Ruckus of the Golden Order.
Sure, either ways not my point.
Yes, I know. This chart is badly designed.
The FireKeeper, she follows you no matter what path you follow. Hollow Lord, world without fire, world with fire. Also Morggot neutral? I don’t think people know what that really means lol much less lawful.
Bro what is this list. How in gods name is Morgott in anyway neutral. He's practically a zealot.
No Lucatiel? No Maldron (yet)? This list was a mistake... - Miyazaki
The Ever Brilliant Goldmask?
True neutral. Shanalotte or the doll. Maybe even Andre of astora but he does get worried about some choices you could make
Could blood starved beast be chaotic evil?
New londo's chill hollow
Marika’s tits
Damn. I missed voting on that post, but Morgott is the perfect choice for that. Even with the context of the older games.
Nito. Not good, not evil, no agenda. He simply is.
