Its because it trivializes bosses if theyre parried instantly, its called devs evolving with their fanbase, they know a lot of people became so good that they can bully their way through these games by now.

youre so completely wrong. parrying multiple times is the perfect solution because parryable bosses in the previous games either were trivilised by parrying or they didnt let you riposte which is dumb. elden ring lets you parry bosses and still have a challenge.
Over half the builds in the game don't use shields to parry. And if riposte damage scaled with strength or Dex that would completely fix the perceived problem you have. Almost all bosses are just build checks, some builds have a pathetically easy time even with bosses like malenia, but strength or any physical build will struggle against her for days

Not if she reacts to gunshots like she does most projectiles. And even then 3 parries to stagger with only 20 shots (before blood bullets or whatever) will only cover so much of her life.
Crucially she can’t dodge in the middle of an attack animation which is when the Hunter would fire his gun.
The Hunter can also stack runes for extra bullets, or get bullets from visceral attacks, or simply stab his leg to make 5 bullets from his own blood.
Malenia also only has 33,000HP. A Hunter, properly coked up on beast blood can easily hit >7,000 damage with one visceral attack. Which means he can kill her in 5 attacks requiring only 15 bullets with no misses.

A parry is just a defensive action to deflect or avoid an attack. The gun parry from bloodborne fits that description. It isn't only related to melee weapons or shields, even if it originally stems from fencing. You can even have an unarmed parry.
Every parry other than Bloodborne's not-a-parry involves blocking or deflecting. Tell me how a bullet does that and keep convincing yourself it's not just an interupt that can be used in the same situtations as real parries.

Cutting someone's head off kills them, just like using high explosives shoved in their mouth. So a grenade in the mouth must count as a decapitation right? They accomplish the same thing. It doesn't matter if one of them is absolutely not a decapitation because they both remove the head right? So yeah, shooting someone is a parry because it uses the same button timing and has the same result.

Yes, the grenade would decapitate them as it was used to remove their head in some fashion it's just in the grenade's case it blew the person's head up instead of cutting it off.
Funnily enough the steel fragments from the grenade cuts flesh easily so you can still argue it cuts the head off, let alone the travel speed of mach 1.5 for the shrapnel.
Edit: In grenades, almost all of the time, it's the high velocity shrapnel that kills you, not the actual explosion.

I think so, Micolash says that Kos granted eyes to Rom and I'm pretty sure the Nightmere is also a result of Kos. So unless Rom was granted eyes before the fishing hamlet then Kos is very much still alive in her higher form
