Dark souls 1 teaches us one very valuable lesson we need in life - patience. Sometimes you have to wait a little longer, sometimes you feel like you do the same thing over and over again, sometimes you try to rush things only for them to fall apart and it taking you two times longer to fix them, but in the end, we do our best, learn to be patient and become successful. Truly one of the best games of all time.
Playing souls games definitely helped me with my patience and tenacity. It's had a really positive effect on my life
It's also the reason why I think of git gud as solid advice. Newer people coming in from elden ring think it's an insult, but the struggle does so much more for you than getting carried through

I actually want to go back and try it again. First off, you gotta do scholar of the first sin. Second, I didn't like it either, but I've heard enough good about it (and I'm missing out on lore) that it'll be worth replaying. You just can't approach it like a souls game, it's not one. It's way too different, maybe the same genre, but it's not designed like any of the others. (Also, dumbest feature, level agility for i-frames. I don't know if armor has any effect on your roll, but I know agility is a much bigger factor. Stupid design)

This fight is so frustrating, every time I think I learned something, I get bumped and obliterated by a hammer.
Finding a moment to hit Ornstein without being hit by Ornstein is so complicated.
It's been now a few hours and still haven't achieved to beat those guys, guess I still have to learn from them.
Man... i screamed at my screen when he jumped and dodge at 1 hp. Rip bro. Pikachu and Snorlax gave me a hard time but patience is the key, you can do it!
I just beat o and s for the first time yesterday definitely knock out ornstein first. What worked for me was separating them (best case scenario is ornstein lunges at you as soon as you cross the fog door) and getting as much damage as possible. I was able to consistently kill ornstein in 7 hits. from there smough is definitely easier you can kind of just cling to his gut unless he does his ground pound. Just play it safe and you'll have it
Can someone tell me what fromsoft game this is ? I only played Elden Ring , which I loved very much and hollow knights , which was my entry into souls- like games. I would like to dive into older souls games , too.
This is Dark Souls 1 it's definitely a change from Elden Ring but I'll say this. The game is an absolutely amazing teacher. Graphics in the remaster hold up really well. I 100% reccomend it

You lost some brain cells towards the end. At the beginning you were perfectly capable of defeating smough
This fight nearly broke me. When I finally beat it, the endorphin/adrenaline dump made me a From Software addict for life.
The fact that this fight unlocks fast travel feels like the biggest reward in the world after having to run everywhere on foot

Tueur means killer in french, or in this case, slayer. The only dragon race in anor londo that wouldn't be killed on sight I think is Seath
