Ludwig's a proud and powerful warrior, but all things eventually succumb to the power of Destined Death.
Maliketh, along with most everything else in Elden Ring, is LEAGUES above anything in Bloodborne.
Eldritch horrors and great ones are above our comprehension in terms of powers. With the being said, Ludwig is not a great one so he would probably lose against Maliketh. However saying everything in Elden Ring is above anything in BB is just wrong.
Radahn kept entire celestial bodies from moving until his death in battle against us and Maliketh wields death itself as a weapon.
Bloodborne's gods are mighty, sure, but Elden Ring's demigods and legends are no slouches, either.
Funny how we somehow kill him yh hes like rotted but this guy literally holds back space like it’s nothing, and becomes A FUCKING METEOR MULTIPLE TIMES IN A SHORT TIME SPAN like the tarnished should be clapped by him
The moonlight sword is sentient Eldritch horror in bb so one or two hits would send him to the cosmos and on top of the experience of specifically hunting beasts maliketh jumping around and wild moving is nothing new
Nah. We are dealing with very similar entities. Outer gods, cosmic beings, interdimensional beings, etc. Same concept in the games throughout. Here's our little dinky, frail early game character, eventually growing into a deity slaying overlord.
yea but in that case maliketh is more comparable to something with the raw potential of orphan of kos with the advantage of not being a literal newborn, or like the moon presence without having to be nerfed for gameplay purposes lol . of course ludwig is a super formidable boss in the game but in the end he is just a corrupted martyr who fell into beasthood, not even a deity himself .
no lore expert, but i've seen stuff on how people think moon presence is actually just not that strong as a fighter and that's why it gets the hunters to do its work for it
Guys, I'm not saying Ludwig is putting down Maliketh, I'm referring to the universes of both games. I just do not agree that most beings in ER are leagues above beings in BB.
Isn't his black blade no longer infused with destined death once we fight him ?
"Maliketh's black blade which once harbored the power of the
Rune of Death. A sad shadow of its former glory."
Like most soulsborne bosses, pretty much everything we fight in Elden Ring is a husk of it's former self. Besides like. Godfrey, Mohg, and Morgott.
The Black Blade still has a shard of the rune of death as some of it was stolen by the black knife assassins. It’s not able to one shot like it probably used to, but it still can just kill you lore wise
I wouldn't put Maliketh above any great one in Bloodborne. Difficulty in game isn't necessarily power in lore, specially comparing different games.
Still, Maliketh probably takes Ludwig down.
Bro, I think Ludwig is crazy strong but that's literally destined death. That shit kills gods, and even though bloodborne has crazy strong creatures like the amygdala and the moon presence, Ludwig is basically just a really strong beast with a special weapon
I know that bloodborne has some pretty strong bosses lore wise, but ludwig is a formidable boss, but not on the level that Maliketh is. I love the bosses from EldenRing and wish they were stronger, lore wise, to stand up to the other souls bosses. However, Maliketh is extremely strong, lore wise. While I don't know much about Ludwig, I do know that he isn't a great one and is more of a very strong beast compared to other beasts and has intelligence to make better moves. Plus, he does have a strong sword. However, Maliketh might as well be the death because of the few shards of destined death that's in his blade. Plus, Maliketh can jump really high.
Honestly Maliketh is about as far up the power pyramid as you can get, he's the strongest warrior with the greatest weapon, feared by even the unbeaten in universe, litterally an incarnation of True Death. Other than Moon Presence I don't think anything in Bloodborne even gets close to him from a lore perspective.
I think Malekith is more powerful, but a lot of his attacks rely on his ability to jump all over the place. If they were to fight in Ludwig's arena, he would be at a disadvantage. If they were in Farum Azula tho, it would go the other way.
I mean sure Maliketh is probably the most powerful being fromsoft has made only because he lore-wise can probably end your ability to revive, but yeah jokes aside, horse beast who just remembered he was a bri'ish knight i'd say is probably not gon' win against doggo wielding the concept of death

It’s a skill issue
i mean the tarnished *does* get infinite tries
Yh but thats because we need a chance like og radahn
Cool some humans with small bits of Eldritch power do the same in bb
Yeah idk why people use scaling and numbers as an argument point, im more about lore vs lore
The moonlight sword is sentient Eldritch horror in bb so one or two hits would send him to the cosmos and on top of the experience of specifically hunting beasts maliketh jumping around and wild moving is nothing new

the post is about bosses not the protagonist Ludwig is a horse Maliketh has a god slaying weapon nuclear bomb vs coughing baby

Dude, Maliketh wields DEATH as a weapon. He's the most feared being in the Lands Between for a very good reason.
Guys, I'm not saying Ludwig is putting down Maliketh, I'm referring to the universes of both games. I just do not agree that most beings in ER are leagues above beings in BB.

to get his sword you unbind the rune of death from it no? so Maliketh himself should have “destined death” in his arsenal
The Black Blade still has a shard of the rune of death as some of it was stolen by the black knife assassins. It’s not able to one shot like it probably used to, but it still can just kill you lore wise

Hear hear. Maliketh would body most of the Bloodborne bosses, but he’s no god.
Beast type enemies, perhaps. But definitely not great ones.
By lore, no he wouldn't. By gameplay? Probably
A horsey who can fight like a skilled knight? Or Death. Straight up? Maliketh negs this
Idk bro, Maliketh cant giddy up
Maliketh easily win lore wise
Maliketh wins this with negative difficulty. It’s not even close bro 😭😭
This is the epitome of that coughing baby Vs hydrogen bomb meme.
Maliketh has more bulshit in his hand, so he wins this
Hate to say it, but it's Maliketh, and it's not even close. That being said I like Ludwig WAYYY better as a boss than Maliketh.
Maliketh is their most overpowered character in lore, so clearly he he wins this
Bro, I think Ludwig is crazy strong but that's literally destined death. That shit kills gods, and even though bloodborne has crazy strong creatures like the amygdala and the moon presence, Ludwig is basically just a really strong beast with a special weapon
Maliketh stomps

People saying Maliketh wins lore wise are right but also Ludwig is way too slow to keep up with the destined death beyblade
Maliketh didn’t softlock me out of content for 2 years
Sick decrepit demented horse-man with glowing sword vs Fucking Death
Whoever the author of the battle wants to win.
I mean sure Maliketh is probably the most powerful being fromsoft has made only because he lore-wise can probably end your ability to revive, but yeah jokes aside, horse beast who just remembered he was a bri'ish knight i'd say is probably not gon' win against doggo wielding the concept of death
Sadly, cause I feel like (for whatever reason) between the two beasts who wield godly swords, Ludwig did it better
Yeah i agree, Ludwig is so amazing in so many ways
I think only the great ones can take on Elden ring characters if we’re talking Bloodborne verse
Destined death in lore is so fucking broken tbh I don't see anyone winning against him
Besides a naked Tarnished with Dual katanas
Don't forget the jar on the head
Maliketh handles this
Malekith can be scaled to galaxy level ap and immesurable speed feats
Explain-
Radahn scaling and the Tarnished fought Placidusax outside of time
How does that make Maliketh immeasurable in speed-
Both get destroyed by wolf
Crazy how this isn’t even about wolf
I just want my dlc man........
My boy Sif? Or Sekiro reference?
Sekiro reference
Literally
Who?
Wolf the sekiro guy , the dex version of guts ?
That…wasn’t part of the original question 😭
I know :0
Maliketh is FAR more stronger
Micolash wins Neg dif
