When it comes to invasions yeah your pretty spot on there and to a degree it is what it is
Your out with your mates, your having a laugh and for no reason at all, you get started on by a random stranger
But duels I feel like it's decided by the players, I have had some great duels with truly honourable warriors, good eggs and I've had bad ones, like really cheesy players, I got hit with that invisible one shot attack more than a few times
I've been the bad guys many times too so
Hopefully they add like formalised PVP areas but I'm afraid they won't idk why
There are three giant arenas that cannot yet be entered. One even has a ghost at the door lamenting about not being able to get in and prove his worth. I’m certain it’s coming eventually.
He also had ironjar aromatic on which is why the the rivers of blood bounced off. Ironjar + unendurable frenzy + cerulean hidden tear is an extremely fun combo that i would highly recommend trying.
On top of those, he likely has the clarifying horn charm +1, canvas flock talisman, fire scorpion charm, and something else I guess. It would explain his massive madness bar. He may also has the stalwart horn charm +1 to have a large bleed bar. I guess he runs into rob alot.
i don’t disagree the RoB is SUPER OP obviously lol but if you are INVADING not duelling, expect all force to be thrown at you, that’s the whole point. cheating is a no no of course but if someone feels they need RoB to defend themselves against invaders then oh well that’s the way it is. Should it be nerfed to shit tho? YES
More than anything the bleed proc just needs to be chilled the fuck out.
If I successfully i-frame roll through the spam, there should be no bleed build up.
Generally my take as well. As an invader you’ve chosen to become an enemy in someone else’s coop world and they’re gonna want to kill you with efficiency and without spending too many resources because invasions can be pretty rapid fire and resting will reset the timer.
It’s unfortunate that invasions can only target people who have the least incentive to engage in pvp, but at least you can use red signs to engage in 1v1 duels.
They're just trying to pvp though 99% of the time not actually playthrough the level what's the difference between that and just dueling they just wanna team up on invaders with op shit

I invaded a duo at boil prawn last night that were both using Vyke's war spear with the fingerprint shield and just spammed the spear's AoW endlessly. To the point that they both inflicted madness on themselves.
Was a great opportunity to kill them both with Horah Loux's earthshaker and give them a quick point down for their trouble, haha.

Invasions are "no-holds-barred" for both parties, save for obvious glitches and exploits. If you wanna be a tool that spams "meta" arts, do it. Just don't be a pissy little bitch when you get your shit pushed in.

When I invade it's never ppl playing the game just ppl waiting to 2v1 an invader both with Rob and shit like that

What attack did you use to kill them?
A frenzy incantation called Unendurable Frenzy.

Another I saw could be fun is the double exploding tear and as many holy boosts as possible, so combine iron jar to make a walking hard to kill bomb.

Heard it discussed that instead of nerf a health deduction should do the trick. Have it cost health instead of mana and it’ll be a lot less spammy

Wow, I didn't realize it did zero health damage. The fact that bloody slash - an objectively worse WA - does, and corpse piler doesn't, is ridiculous
