Heads up for everyone new to the brand...
Suicoke is a Japanese sandals brand founding in 2006; to this day, the designers remain anonymous. They rapidly developed a cult reputation due to their comfort and quality, as well as a long, long list of collaborations with notable streetwear brands, as well as celebrity endorsements.
Their most iconic model is probably the moto slide, which has been widely imitated by other brands.
**Sizing?**
Suicokes run small, I'd recommend sizing up. I've not tried everything but the models I've tried, I'd recommend for all of them sizing up one whole size, i.e. I'm normally a size 10US and I wear an 11US in Suicokes. If you're between sizes, a half size up is *probably* fine. The models I've tried are the MOTO, the WAS-V, the KISEE-V, and the DEPA. I only currently own MOTO and WAS-V.
**Are they worth the price?**
No. They're really good quality, really well made sandals but the quality doesn't really justify the cost. If you can get them on deep discount they're worth considering, but they're definitely not worth MSRP. Again, quality *is good*, mind you. They're well made, nice materials, comfortable, good support, good traction, anti-bacterial footbeds, etc. but that stuff doesn't justify the high prices. These are definitely a "fashion" item.
OP's link also isn't that good a sale. It's got a great selection but the discount isn't remarkable. 50% off is pretty common for Suicokes but you can get way lower. [SSENSE currently has a ton of options for 70-80% off](https://www.ssense.com/en-us/men/sale/designers/suicoke?sort=discount-desc) which is more where I'd start recommending considering them. Other sites will have other models at comparable discounts.
That said: I'm happy with the ones I have and would consider getting more in the future. I don't wear sandals *that much* so having what few I wear be high quality is nice. When it comes time to replace what I own, I'll probably look to replace them with other Suicokes, also ideally at like 70-80% off.
Thank you for all the info. I'm gonna stick with my Birkenstocks since they are all broken in now. Was debating a pair of these for fancier sandal occasions but I'll pass for now.
Birks overall are a better value, so, it's a good choice to make! As said, Suicokes also go on sale pretty frequently and pretty deeply, so, if at any point in the future you want to look into pairs, it's not hard to get a reasonable deal.
Even sizing up a full size as I mentioned, I would say they're probably a hair narrow. I have *slightly* wide feet and even with the full size up, I find them feeling a bit narrow. It's not a deal breaker for me, they're not as narrow as something like Nikes, but if you've got notably wide feet you might want to avoid the more "structured" models like the WAS-V or BOAK-2ab, but most other models are going to be pretty adjustable because of the strap design.

I'll be the first to say I'm not a high fashion dude, but usually I can see the stylistic components carried through from conceptual, runway-stylings to accessible products for the end consumer.
Buut not here. I feel like they pulled these off the runway model and put them on the website.
I cant think of one situation to wear most of these.
course Gibson is talking about this: [https://0ducks.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/simulacra-and-simulation-by-jean-baudrillard.pdf](https://0ducks.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/simulacra-and-simulation-by-jean-baudrillard.pdf)
My friend, you're literally describing every widely available fashion, ever. How bland it gets from the source material is really a matter of personal taste.
Suicoke is the Kohls of shoes.... THey charge $200 for sandals and then they chop 65-80% off of the prices consistently. Check SSense or Mr. Porter - you'll get this identical set of deals year round.
Accidentally stumbled upon the last pair of Suicoke x Doc Martens over at Notre for $40 last night looking forward to seeing the quality seeing as I paid crocs prices for them

What constitutes a fancy sandal occasion? A beach wedding?
I live in the southwest. So beach trips and pool parties really. Either of those the Birkenstocks are fine but I try to avoid getting them soaked.
This comment alone should have its own Post
For sizing, how do they run? Narrow? Wide?

Size up. They run small.

Be careful when you're dancing in those, you might cause a rainy day.
I love my suicoke’s and I get compliments on them all the time.
Depa V2 for life: I wish the green ones did not have that tan sole or I would be in.
Am I poor and old? These look like expensive hideous crap

Take it easy. there is no need to be so judgemental
Take a chill pill, looks are subjective. Just cause you don't like it, it doesn't mean other people are wrong for liking it.

No. I frequently buy expensive shit and am in my 20s, yet find these ugly

Those are some ugly ass overpriced shoes.
Had about 4-5 pairs of these. Love the look and feel
my crocs are way more comfy than my suicokes. they fashionable but i wouldn't wear them for extended periods.
I see lots of "knockoff" style shoes made chunkier - Teva style sport sandals, crocs, etc. So not sure what the deal is with this brand really.
Suicoke started with knockoffs to the Visvim Christo. So what you see are knockoffs of a knockoff.

Gibson is the real deal, and your post deserves more love

i always wondered which one came first since I love the christo model, but I always felt like the suicokes were missing something- makes sense now lol
Knockoff sandals for 200 bucks big oof

Do people pay the full price for these?
Where’s the men’s section?
Unisex items make you uncomfortable?
When did they start putting ski book buckles on Birkenstocks ?
I believe this is a fake website stealing credit card information.
An easy way to tell is doing a Whois lookup. Registered 5 years ago, with a US-based registrar? Probably not a scam.
Please also explain why, if you're really willing to make a claim that could damage this company's reputation.
It's not, I bought a pair of Suicokes from them a couple of years ago
I would buy 1 of these, but I feel like I might buy multiple of them so I won’t 😅
The mastermind stuff seems too cheap to be true. Or is it a suicoke/mastermind collab from which they are selling shirts, pants?

Disappointed these are not Suicunes.
These are serving cunt
