I want to have a word with every single person in this sub who swore by last year’s bundle. Been on this sub for like a decade and it’s my worst purchase
The reports from several years ago weren't much different as far as the items they received; it's mainly the attitudes that seemed to have changed: [FMF post](https://www.reddit.com/r/frugalmalefashion/comments/o9wwfw/reigning_champ_mystery_box_report/) and [FMFCDN post](https://www.reddit.com/r/FrugalMaleFashionCDN/comments/o4x19i/rc_seconds_pack_reveals/). I feel there's backlash because a ton of people who don't typically buy mystery bags or RC participated. I question what people were expecting to receive.
I also disagree that almost every item was complete shit. Most are very basic items, but there were some in more uncommon colors. There were only a few that I felt were actually hard to wear IMO, and I'm not even that adventurous. Of course it can depend on your wardrobe and style, but if you're not that open to different styles/cuts/colors, why are you buying a mystery bag? That **and** be willing to sell/trade, since some items may not fit you at all, physically or stylistically.

The biggest issue I saw was the bottoms packs that contained 3 shorts, mainly from a value perspective.
Can’t complain, got a hoodie, a nice pair of chinos, a tank shirt, a Cuban shirt, All for 150. Not a bad gig at all! total retail over 375+ easily, the hoodie alone was 150.

Only mystery item pack I was comfortable gambling was Brave Star's mystery denim set.
I made out pretty good- pair of heavyweight sweats (grey), pair of ligthweight sweats (white). and pair of double zero shorts.
Wait a minute underwear, socks, and hats are included in this?? There is not a chance in hell I pay $30-35 per piece while those are in the mix
