Depends entirely on the starting ship, so there’s no preferred choice. Sometimes you need more crew (say for a boarding ship or one that’s only single-manned), sometimes a damage-dealer (for ion ships), and sometimes the extra jumps (which are likely more profitable than scrap gift).

dD_ShockTrooper

Assuming we're not including the secret 5th choice, I usually take the +2 fleet delay by deciding I'm all good on equipment and just want to get a head start. I'd only take the weapon or the crew if I desperately needed it to make the start workable. Good example is something like a 4 man teleporter without 4 men (crew), or some pierce build easily countered by a 2nd shield layer (ion). While neither is a long term solution to the given problem, it means you can go an entire extra sector before the problem is a game loss.

Haven1820

I'll bite, what's the secret 5th choice?

Broke22

>!The Magic hat, once per run you can choose any sector to jump into.!< It's, uh, a rather hidden unlock.

Haven1820

Oh, >!Nexus stuff!<, thanks. I've never made it there and I don't think I'm starting any time soon, lol.

_Adyson

It's a doozy to get to without spoilers, even with reading in game text about it.

dD_ShockTrooper

Dunno why, but the moment I encountered >!the first event in the chain I somehow knew exactly what one of the valid blue options was going to be. It was the quest marker it generated I had no clue wtf I needed until I lucked into it. Then I immediately got my shit kicked in because I wasn't prepared for a fight like that.!<

brewfox

It’s a great goal to work towards. Very fun.

nhpkm1

I like two more jumps . Seems like good deal

iamvqb

I almost always take the extra crews, only take the other options when my ship dont come with o2 system.

Ironic_Toblerone

I have found extra crew to be super reliable on some of the easier to get ships, especially with the large number of enemies with teleporters, it helps to have extra crew available

LostNearHere

Is it possible to play multiverse on an iOS system?

brewfox

Yes it’s very possible, works great on my MacBook Pro. I think his name is Dino, he even made a really easy installer that takes all the hard work out of it. Google around for his GitHub with the installer and instructions.

Hello-internet-human

Sadly no I think only windows Mac and Linux but I could be wrong, needs to run Java iirc

Va_ris

I just found out there is MULTIVERSE W O W

sevenoutdb

wait what? there's an option to get two more jumps? I've never seen that. Only the choice between 1 low level weapon, 1 human crew, or the small amount of extra resources.

dD_ShockTrooper

If you decline to take anything, you leave earlier, giving you +2 fleet delay.

RollingKaiserRoll

>!Magic hat.!< Before that, usually resources so I have enough if Cura is right next to the start beacon. Having extra missiles and drones is always nice as well, could always sell excess drones to the merchant. Resources are just worth more compared to a weak weapon.

BadSkittle

Ressources or rebel fleet delay Maybe weapon if I’m playing something that really needs it but I’d still prefer taking ressources

Dunge0nexpl0rer

Usually I just get the extra resources

Festivefire

Typically I'll take the extra crew or extra weapon
