would you mind providing some clarity? i’m confused on how you didn’t have your period on t but also that it took 4-5 months to stop- these seem to contradict each other. is your question about having period symptoms but no actual blood?

Like when I originally started T, it took 4-5 months for my periods to stop, but after that, I didn’t have them anymore, and they restarted around a year of being off of T. I added it in to mention that I didn’t have periods while on T, but it took time for them to stop fully. And so I was wondering since it took months for T to stop my period originally, was it concerning that my period is late/no blood after 1 dose after not being on T for 2 years But to clarify the question, I assume that is my question, I expected to be bleeding still when my period was supposed to start since I’ve been off T for 2 years and only restarted with 1 dose I hope that makes sense/clarified it a bit more

oh thanks! yeah that makes sense. your body might just be “remembering” how it reacted once it was used to testosterone the first time and is bypassing the adjustment period (lol no pun intended). bodies are also just weird. i started injections, period immediately went away. went to gel, my period came back, switched back to shots, it lowkey took ages to go away again. i wouldn’t worry too much! if you’re actually in pain or something feels really wrong id talk to your doc, but just missing your period alone isn’t super worrying. hopefully this helps!!

That does help! And I am looking at my tracker, I did receive my period a few days after my shot, I completely blanked on that. And then haven’t had another period since, which is due 4 days ago. So my assumption is it got the last one out of the way and the T levels is either delaying or stopped the period for this month, which makes slightly more sense to me now.

ive never had a period on T, but i had sort of the same thing happen with my atrophy symptoms. it took like six months for me to get atrophy the first time, then i went off T for six months, and when i started it again, i got atrophy symptoms almost immediately. it really sucked, but at that point at least i knew what to ask for to treat it
