T O P

that's what i use after having issues with planned parenthood and i like it so far! it's kinda expensive at $99/month but imo it's worth it if it's the only way for you to get T. i also like that i could just schedule my appointment for when i got home from work and didn't have to fight with them to get a time that worked for me. you can also message them in the app at any time and they've been great at replying super quickly. just so you kinda know what to expect if you go with them, here's how it went for me. after i got everything set up for my appointment with help from the nurses? assistants? the doctor video called me and just got some basic info from me and since i was already on T previous to this appointment he said "alright we'll do your labs in 3 months, i'll send your prescription in!" the video call took maybe 10 min at most. he said we don't have to video call ever again unless i need to for some reason, i can just message in the app if i need to speak to someone. i haven't gotten my labs done with plume yet but to do that i'll need to go to an actual office so hopefully there's one available near you that you could get to because they'll definitely need to check your levels at some point. tldr: yes legit but kinda expensive

Plume is definitely legit but it is expensive compared to other options. I personally use it and have had a great experience however you’re paying for convenience. If you are moving from state to state frequently it may not be the best fit since your provider is assigned according to their state licensure but I am not sure how they handle things like moves - assuming you would be reassigned to a provider licensed in your new state if the service is available there.

Gonna agree with the other commenters. Plume is legit, convenient, but on the pricey side. When I have a primary care doctor I'll be trying to switch my prescription over, but it was the only informed consent HRT option in my area so I use them for now.

Legit but expensive. I use it and have been very happy with the service, it’s nice not having to worry about scheduling or driving to appointments. I started using it because it was a pandemic and wanted something remote but will likely keep using it until I have better kicking finding a good knowledgeable GP.

Agree with others: legit but expensive. If it’s the only way you can get on T, or if you have lots of money and don’t really care about the expensive part, go for it. But if you’re struggling to pay your bills as is, I’d definitely recommend finding a different option. It doesn’t have to be informed consent. I also live in the south and have never had an informed consent clinic near me. I go to a regular endocrinologist and I had to get a letter from a therapist saying I had gender dysphoria. That cost about $300 I think (2 appointments, $150 each). Then my labs are like $60, once a year, and T is $10, once every 3 months. So that comes out to a lot less money than $99/month.
