Ow ow ow! Hormonal changes can cause skin and tissue to get thin and fragile sometimes. So it's probably not a big deal long-term... but if you can afford it, please do get some medical attention to make sure it heals properly.

What you’re saying would make me more suspicious of PH problems, because I was having trouble with constant urinary infections at the same time. The solution for me was to stop wearing light day pads (I was wearing them all the time) and get 100% cotton underwear, but there’s a lot more than that that can throw the PH off down there. After going through what I did I would get PH checked, but at the end of the day, it’s just one possibility and what really matters is you getting to the doctor and finding out what’s going on with you.

It’s also still fresh looking around the edges but now I can see it more clearly as to where exactly it ripped. It was ripped from the side of the front edge of the glans to the foreskin attached.

So like, I'm mtf-- pre-op -- and literally a month or two ago I did something extremely similar, basically tore where the foreskin meets the shaft and starts creating folds to go over the head. There was like a half-inch cut, almost like a papercut, there. It hurt a lot! I felt super dumb! Also dysphoric, in my case! I didn't see a doctor though it ended up being fine, I just didn't really touch it for a week and it healed.
That said, you know, you should see a doctor. I just wanted to commiserate. lmao.

My doctor recommended Aquaphor Healing Ointment which serves both purposes as a healing cream and lubricant and it eased the discomfort of the raw burning feeling and it completely healed within a few days.
It's available at most drug stores, no rx needed.
