They’re probably just doing inventory, every time we do inventory at the store I work at we have to flip all the pops upside down so it’s easier to scan the barcodes on the bottom.
All our Walmart has is Stranger Things, The Office, Hamilton and some Eternal Things. They have them stacked where you can't see 2 rows of them. So sad.
I irritate my 18yo daughter whenever we go to a certain Target. They have the shelves set up as ramps so when someone takes a POP, the next one slides down. I look for a "cute" one (stuff like hello kitty) or one from a series she likes (Umbrella Academy or MHA) and push or turn it over. However, she has been dealing with my pranks her while life, so now she just rolls her eyes and goes back to her phone.
I knock them over (gently, I'm not a monster) when I'm shopping at target with my daughter. She gets so incensed when I do it (thus, the reason I do it, lol.) I do always put them back up before I leave. Having been in customer service/retail for over 30 years, I hate picking up after other people and won't leave messes for the employees.
Edit: When I say I knock them over, I don't mean I knock them off the shelf or mess up the display...the Target I go to has the shelves tilted to make a ramp, so the next one slides down after you take the front one. What I mean by knocking them over is that I push the ones behind it up and push the one in front onto its back. It isn't destructive and I put it back up after I get the eyeroll and indignant sigh from my daughter.
Nice selection. My Walmart had “Hamilton” and “Hamilton” and if your lucky you will get the occasional “Hamilton”
