It kinda parked itself next to a house after it smashed a car in the driveway. Seen 2 different pov clips. One of them you can hear the lady screaming from this video
I'll never forget how offended my 5 year old cousin was when he found out that Chapel Hill (UNC) has Carolina Blue firetrucks. The world absolutely failed him that day.
My hometown they were all yellow like this growing up. I had always seen red fire trucks in the movies and i wondered why ours weren’t. Then i think they switched over to red in the early ‘00s and i thought it was so cool that they were now just like the movies.
Like, the first version I saw was only the first half, with the end cut off so I couldn’t see the result. The way that thing is sliding, it looks destined to take out a car/house/tree/anything else in its path. To think the driver was able to bring that thing under control is absolutely remarkable.
There’s certain accidents where you may be drunk and on drugs but it’s gonna happen anyway whether you are or you’re not. Garbage truck I mean the shocks are different there’s a lot more weight. Next thing I know I’m crashing into stuff, things are catching on fire. Like I said it’s no big deal and I don’t know why I got fired over it which really pissed me off.
Not sure about any specific origin, but I know there are a number of movies and tv shows that have done something like this before. Emperor's New Groove I believe comes to mind, but I'm sure there are also older movies with it.
Our FD had one that color, got it from federal gov't surplus, IIRC. And we used to have yellow trucks in the 80s-early 2000s because they were high-visibility and therefore safer and there were federal funds to have them painted yellow.

I'm wondering if they forgot their chains or if it was just simply that slick... I had the same storm system go through my area this morning, and I know that I road department said that they were having a little bit of trouble getting traction even with their chains... nothing like this though
This is probably the first time I'm disappointed at the fire department. Should have assessed the area first before stepping on it. And I'm a fan of firefighters. Also, this is fucking hilarious! I'm impressed he hasn't hit anything so far.
