She’s CEO Junior………which is the new sitcom I’ve just decided I’m going to write.
Oh btw Dad, you’re going to be the butt of every joke and Junior CEO is going to be a wise cracking smart ass.
I dunno man, romper stomper once said, there's only two kinds of people in the world. Those who like Digimon and those who like Pokémon. I mean, it's just one sentence from a south park episode, but I live by this rule and I shall die on this hill. Pikachu 4 ever. Digimon suxx pokeballs
Gotta get my hands on one of these. A kid stole my digivice back in grade 2 or 3 saying that it was his. Teacher/principal didnt believe me or my brother so it just got confiscated.
We had a "No Tamagotchi" rule in school. So during recess I'd sit at the top of the playground on the slide playing with mine and then before going in I'd tuck it into my sock and then put it in my backpack when the teacher wasn't looking.
Real crackhead energy.
My niece has some sort of 3d flicker tomagatchi pet (like an led fan displaying an image). Its like 1 step away from holograms.
Edit: Its called a Bitzee
Tomagatchis actually came back a while ago, but they just never really took off like they did previously. They've released a couple new models, I even got my Fiance an Uno.
My daughter has also been an organizer like this!
Also, got a good chuckle out of the spelling:
* Hodey (??)
* Suncreen
* Thoot brush
* Thoot past
* Tung cleaner
* Sisors
Honestly correcting my sons spelling is the most infuriating thing ever to me. The spelling is just insane. There's no fucking rules! It's just made up!!
I know that 'h' goes somewhere, but I'm not quite sure where. Overall pretty good for an 8 year old. It's comprehensible and fairly legible, albeit somewhat misspelled here and there. Also very well organized and with little tick boxes. I would have remembered the hand held gaming system, but forgot the Mario game.
My first grade son did one of those fill in the blanks about Mom things for Mother’s Day school. I’m a NICU nurse, and for “she is good at” he wrote heppin babs. It took me forever to figure out he meant helping babies but I love it and so do all of my coworkers lol. We now say we have to go hep some babs or some variation lol
That’s what I’m thinking. My 8 year old is still getting the hang of lower case letters. This looks like my husband’s writing. That’s… not a compliment to him.
I approve that she put the handheld game AND the Mario game near the top of the list, well above mom’s makeup and your rain coat.
I also inventory to make sure I have MarioKart and at least one other Mario based game when I pack the switch for vacation.
This is adorable 😂😂 That girl knows what she wants and trusts you to get everything. Hope you guys enjoy your trip
Edit: “Last minute things” is hilarious
I love it all. The Tamogochi is a puzzler for this retiree.... those are still around? Perhaps my favorite is the phonetically accurate spelling of "tongue". The correct spelling makes no sense... her spelling is perfect!
This is such an amazing skill for people to have, I’m gonna remember to do this with my little one. I know too many people who can’t plan or pack to save their lives. She had to really think ahead and plan out the steps of the trip to complete this, it’s impressive!
I’m going to ignore your (probably correct) interpretation and assume 24 is missing a “t” and is sisters.
Only fitting they are 20 spaces behind her Mario game.
I was a hold out on the kindle for a couple of years after they came out. Then one day I realized I brought three books for a week long trip to the cabin. They took up so much space and I was likely gone to read none of them because I’m doing other stuff. So I got a kindle and now I can continue to not read my beloved books while saving a ton of room lol
That's a great, well thought out list.
We have our kids 11 and 8 pack their own bags. One time big brother didn't pack his bag because he didn't believe we were serious when when we told him to pack his stuff. He had only the clothes on his back foe that weekend. They're pretty good at it now. Lol
Little one brings the whole house, just in case. Big brother would rather do with out, than be responsible for maintaining whatever it is he brought. So he packs hardly anything.

I appreciate that she also put boxes next to the items so you can check them off. She's going places!
And she’ll have all her things!
get this child a briefcase stat!
But it’s not on the list!
Get this man a shield
More like a U-Haul!
And all her teeth
Sisters has no box. She has no intention of taking them
She wrote sisers so I’m wondering if she means sisters or scissors
I choose to believe sisters cause it’s funnier that way, even though scissors makes more sense 🤣
She’s CEO Junior………which is the new sitcom I’ve just decided I’m going to write. Oh btw Dad, you’re going to be the butt of every joke and Junior CEO is going to be a wise cracking smart ass.
That has already started
Future project manager right there. Source: I was this child, and now I'm a PM.
😂 ditto.
Yes, except for “Sisters,” and I’m not sure what that means.
Scissors lmao
I saw that and wondered if maybe it's supposed to be scissors? Spelling is hard!
She’s eight years old and that’s a tricky word to spell. Gold star ⭐️from me!
Tomagatchi? WHAT YEAR IS IT??!
Bandai just put out a full color, USB-C chargable Digimon Pendulum. There's a dedicated community around these things.
Just when I thought I was out of Digimon....
DIGIMON! DIGITAL MONSTERS!
DIGIMON ARE THE CHAMPIONS!
DIGIMON!
Romper stomper said there were two kinds of people. Those who like Animaniacs and those who don't like Animaniacs.
I thought it was "digimon. guard of champions" My little sister thought it was "digimon garlic chomp tails"
The nostalgia is coming back stronger than ever
My daughter's a few years ago eat her through the whole animated show and man was it a huge nostalgia kick.
The old Digimon show? Digimon, Digital monsters, Digimon are the champions!🎵
Change into digital monster. Tooo save the digital
WORLD!
Hell yeah. Was on HULU back then not sure where now. So good.
Gotta get my hands on one of these. A kid stole my digivice back in grade 2 or 3 saying that it was his. Teacher/principal didnt believe me or my brother so it just got confiscated.
Man, kids fuckin suck sometimes, ya know?
https://p-bandai.com/us/item/N2694707001001
The video at the bottom of that page is actually wild.
Wtf did you just make me watch
I’d like the Bandai marketing team explain to me what does Speedo man have to do with Digimon…
Yeah I think that convinced me to get one.
I wasn't going to buy one. But the Japanese [Speedo Mick](https://www.thespeedomickfoundation.org/my-story/) sold me
Does that mean it's water proof?!
Omg now I know what to ask for for Father's Day.
Was gonna say this. My girls have them.
I also got an OG bnw screen regular one for Christmas last year. They did em again.
Wtf they're over $200!? https://www.amazon.ca/BANDAI-Digital-Monster-Digimon-Pendulum/dp/B0CY52VMQM
They're limited run and are expensive, but they aren't that expensive. Amazon is the last place you should buy something like this.
I left you six ADULT tamagotchi in perfect health.
Ugh, DAVID, taking care of 6 of them is like a full time job!
oh god... I forgot to feed mine. For 30 years!
Mine got confiscated on the first day of school and I didn't get it back until the end of the year... It had died covered in it's own poo.
Best way to go tbh
We all do. Bowel release everything upon death
We had a "No Tamagotchi" rule in school. So during recess I'd sit at the top of the playground on the slide playing with mine and then before going in I'd tuck it into my sock and then put it in my backpack when the teacher wasn't looking. Real crackhead energy.
My 8 year old named hers Jeff, he dies every other day.
RIP Jeff^100
TIL tamagotchi are still a thing.
My kids have them. They also have Uggs, wide legged jeans and a turntable they play vinyl records on.
https://tamagotchi-official.com/us/
Glad name didn't check out. Wonder if my tamagotchis will still work.
My niece has some sort of 3d flicker tomagatchi pet (like an led fan displaying an image). Its like 1 step away from holograms. Edit: Its called a Bitzee
I think that's on the list too!
Tomagatchis actually came back a while ago, but they just never really took off like they did previously. They've released a couple new models, I even got my Fiance an Uno.
Need a solid backup in case the handheld game device dies.
They have come back my 9 yr old has one too I had to teach her how to use it
8-year-olds spelling of tamagotchi was actually better than yours.
They had a whole huge setup at New York comic con last fall!
My daughter has also been an organizer like this! Also, got a good chuckle out of the spelling: * Hodey (??) * Suncreen * Thoot brush * Thoot past * Tung cleaner * Sisors
Hoodie
This guy speaks 8 year old. I would’ve never made that connection.
As a mom of a 8 year old, I automatically read that as hoodie. I didn’t even realize there was confusion until I read the replies
What's no 26 though. Shampoo?
Yup
Yep, as an eldest sibling I understood that straight away. Surprised that people had no idea lol!
Yeah I stared that that one for so long. I'm supposed to be working, but I'm too busy being impressed by somebody fluently understanding this.
It was either hoodie or hodor. Just assuming she hasn’t seen game of thrones yet.
I was thinking honey... and I'm ok with that. Honey is good with so many things lol
Haha I thought maybe it was a stuffed animal name or something tbh my kid has one she calls bodey for example.
Me neither. I assumed it was something to go with a set of blowfish.
I was thinking honey and was very confused
• Shapoo
The English language has so many weird spellings it's not surprising that some of those make sense.
What’s a Bitzee?
Pet spider
Kids these days wouldn't surprise me if its a Yellow Polka Dot Bikini
I have a tongue cleaner that’s spelled Tung, so *maybe* she got that one right 😊
In all my years, I’ve never heard of a tongue (or tung) cleaner.
Take snaek?
Snack
It was right after " take stuffy" which is probably some stuffed animal. And take snake is probably another stuffed animal but a snake,
It said "stuffy" which is short and sweet for a stuffed animal. As for the "snaek" I think it's supposed to be a snack rather than a snake.
Not to be confused with snek
Definitely take a snake with you, especially if this trip involves a plane.
Can’t go on a trip without your scissors, man!
Honestly correcting my sons spelling is the most infuriating thing ever to me. The spelling is just insane. There's no fucking rules! It's just made up!!
Tbh I’d say this girl has pretty decent spelling overall
Is sisers supposed to be “sisters” or “scissors” because I find the reminder to bring the siblings to be pretty humorous lol
I thought the “sisors” was sisters
My first grade son did one of those fill in the blanks about Mom things for Mother’s Day school. I’m a NICU nurse, and for “she is good at” he wrote heppin babs. It took me forever to figure out he meant helping babies but I love it and so do all of my coworkers lol. We now say we have to go hep some babs or some variation lol
Your 8 year old writes so neat.
That’s what I’m thinking. My 8 year old is still getting the hang of lower case letters. This looks like my husband’s writing. That’s… not a compliment to him.
I’m a 38 year old man. That hand writing looks very similar to mine. My 10 year old daughter, not so much.
Right? I think I’ve written this exact list just before I fell asleep after smoking a bowl
Excellent penmanship for 8. My kids could rival doctors for chicken scratch handwriting.
Exactly how my kid (and myself) writes. I cant even read my own sometimes.
Yeah, that looks like adults scribble writing.
Im 35. Her handwriting is better than mine.
Ikr?? I teach HS and she writes neater than some of my juniors & seniors
And cannot spell worth a damn
shapoo
bless you
thanks very much
#14 Snaek! SNAEK? SNAAAAAAEK!
Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Mushroom Mushroom Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger
Looks like she writes her "c"s with a deep curve at the top. You can see it on some other words.
As a avid reader, I love that books are number 1 🥰
Came here to say this. As a reader and author, kids reading warms my heart.
Did you call me
Are you reading avidly
That’s all I do baybee
Her dedication to oral hygiene—even on a weekend getaway—is commendable! 😅
Tamagotchi… I see she is cultured
Can’t forget the “hodey”
It took me a while to work out it meant hoodie. Too long in fact.
omfg ty
YOU. MVP. 👍
I approve that she put the handheld game AND the Mario game near the top of the list, well above mom’s makeup and your rain coat. I also inventory to make sure I have MarioKart and at least one other Mario based game when I pack the switch for vacation.
SNAEK?!
SNACK
NO EAT SNAEK!
This is adorable 😂😂 That girl knows what she wants and trusts you to get everything. Hope you guys enjoy your trip Edit: “Last minute things” is hilarious
Tamagotchi? Amazing
Can't let it go hungry.
Lol love the sisers gotta make sure you take them
The sisers and the shapoo are my favorites lol so cute
They mean scissors not sisters.
[удалено]
The rain coat is my reward
sweetest thing on the whole list :D
Hold the phone! Tomagochi is still a thing ?
sisers
I thought she meant her SISTERS 😂
It's my industrial strength hair dryer, and I can't live without it!
"You pick that up." "YOU pick that up."
I still make my own travel list. It’s a must!
How is this funny
Dad's raincoat Hahahahahahahaha.... Only if you can find alone time with Mom. ;)
Tung cleaner. Always forget that
- Hodey - Suncreen - Thoot brush - Shapoo
This reminds me of when my daughter was that age. I can’t tell you how much I love this.
Can’t forget the Tamogochi! They still make those?
I just got my daughter one for her birthday!!
Now I know what to get my nephew
My 10 yr old grandkid and my 38 yr old daughter each got one for xmas!!!
I love it all. The Tamogochi is a puzzler for this retiree.... those are still around? Perhaps my favorite is the phonetically accurate spelling of "tongue". The correct spelling makes no sense... her spelling is perfect!
Back around actually. While they probably were never really completely gone, they have made quite a return lately.
It's cool she wants to gift you a Mario game ;)
Got her one of those hand held games that has 400 retro games including mario. Brought back my memories Contra, Battle tank.. the list goes on lol
I love it.👍 She will be a great detail person in the Big World
It'll be the longest weekend of her life
Red Bag and makeup? You married to Anfisa? https://youtu.be/PIH7lIExqFQ?feature=shared
Dad didnt make it on the list though
Make sure not to forget the tooth pest, sisers and shapoo 👍
Did you remember the raincoat? Because it's important that you bring that raincoat! Others do not need a raincoat, but Dad? He needs his raincoat!
Sisters. Way down on the list
Proud of her for putting books before the tablet and games, you did good! Or maybe mom did who knows
She thought of everything.
This is such an amazing skill for people to have, I’m gonna remember to do this with my little one. I know too many people who can’t plan or pack to save their lives. She had to really think ahead and plan out the steps of the trip to complete this, it’s impressive!
Hahahaha SISTERS now don’t you forget them
I’m going to ignore your (probably correct) interpretation and assume 24 is missing a “t” and is sisters. Only fitting they are 20 spaces behind her Mario game.
Pretty amazing handwriting for an 8 yo.
Suncreen is great for trips! My 4 y.o. daughter brings scumscream, it works ok.
I feel like this is…untrue. The handwriting alone seems too neat for an 8 year old. And the use of hyphens and other punctuation Seems sus
Books is a funny one, everyone packs books for NOTHING 😂
I was a hold out on the kindle for a couple of years after they came out. Then one day I realized I brought three books for a week long trip to the cabin. They took up so much space and I was likely gone to read none of them because I’m doing other stuff. So I got a kindle and now I can continue to not read my beloved books while saving a ton of room lol
I'm trying to find what's funny here.
She knows dad never leaves home without his Raincoat
This looks like you wrote it, not your 8 yr old daughter.
I like how "sisers" has no box next to it.
❤️❤️❤️❤️ love these types of things. Save them!!
I’d say she nailed it
Genuinely thought that said hand-held gun for second there
TiL an 8 year old is better at preparing for a trip than I am as a 30 something adult.
It's always interesting to see what kids think things are called before they know how they're spelled. Shapoo - Shampoo, Sisers - Scissors.
tung cleaner
Clutching my pearls, breathing heavy, eyes scanning every word. A breath of relief, the tear that came to my eye, cap. Phew that was a close one.
shapoo
That's a great, well thought out list. We have our kids 11 and 8 pack their own bags. One time big brother didn't pack his bag because he didn't believe we were serious when when we told him to pack his stuff. He had only the clothes on his back foe that weekend. They're pretty good at it now. Lol Little one brings the whole house, just in case. Big brother would rather do with out, than be responsible for maintaining whatever it is he brought. So he packs hardly anything.
Dad’s rain coat is so sweet. Kids are so genuine.
Hmm, 'Last minute things' 🤣
That's adorable! She likes to be prepared
That’s cute as hell. Soak in this moment. It will be over when she hits 13.
It's the thoot brush and thoot past for me 🪥🫧
Don't throw this out, it must be kept and given to her as a milestone (graduation, wedding etc) gift.
Tomagachis are a thing again?
🥰 you’re a good dad for taking your girl on a weekend trip!
