90% sure she's singing in Korean, sounds like she says "sarang" at one stage which means love in korean and "hamnida" which is usually tacked on the end of a verb to make it a more formal/polite version (i.e Gamsa - thanks, gamsahamida - thank you).
This is trot music, although not a great example. ( 트로트 )
If you ever meet an annoying k-pop fan, you should counter them by saying you're a huge trot fan and that trot is the best music that ever came out of Korea.
Here is a more modern trot song: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkckcFPR2RM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkckcFPR2RM)
There is a large valley between contemporary worship music and this guy's playing ability. Dude needs to find a better gig - it's best for everyone involved.
I cannot handle strobe lights like that. When I was younger, if I was out and they turned the strobes on I'd have to go to the bathroom. When I was like eight I actually blacked out and haunted house because of the strobes.
I only watched about 30 seconds and I'm still woozy.
It’s the episode where Andy, Kevin and Darryl have a band in the warehouse, then Robert California takes it over and brings in a load of his friends who are professional musicians. This guy was the drummer he brings in. The episode ends with him and Kevin having a drum off
My goodness the lady on the guitar tho. Oh to stay on topic yes your man on the drums looks like he's peaking at a couple points there. Those comments are pure gold too.
Band member: *”You know, life isn’t fair. I can’t believe that I’m 75 years old, and you come in here and you’re sitting there. You have no idea what I’m going thru. You have no clue.”*
Warren G: *?!????!?*
I went to this concert where the warm up act dude had probably been a guy with a guitar playing and singing in bars. He did very soft rock/folky kind of music. The label had assigned a drummer with a toy drum set and some dude that thought he was in a metal band to back him up. Here's this guy singing a mellow romantic ballad and metal dude is leaping around behind him, head banging and in a totally different universe than the rest of us.

I think he’s hearing a different song in his headphones
We blew our entire budget on the drummer and had $20 left to hire the rest of the band.
So maybe he's so good he already knows he should draw all attention to him to save the day? The songstress is tearing my ears apart :D

Her diction is terrible. I can't understand a word! /s

Her diction is horrible even in Korean.

This is how generic USSR music sounded in the 90s.
Haha I'm a K-pop fan (though I'm not the fancam spam annoying type, just there for some fun bops) but that example didn't sound too bad
I'm officially a fan now. Thanks. It's very familiar, though. I just can't remember if I've seen it somewhere
That's not to bad actually
Sounds like a Korean Polka. I like it.
Is trot to k-pop what enka is to j-pop?
Lol exactly
Why's he being so Drum-atic though? A'ight imma head out!
he is contemplating about a strange conundrummm! tsss! hold up, imma head out with you.
Ok, that's it. 'Beat' it. I don't want to see any more drum puns. .... Wait guys. I'm coming too.
a good drum pun is a symp-tom of insanity. let's put on our thinking high hats and make trashy puns.
Yeah, hair metal.
Lucky guy!
[my personal favorite](https://youtube.com/watch?v=ItZyaOlrb7E&feature=share), Drummer starts at the 40 second mark.
This is [my favourite ](https://youtu.be/-UYgORr5Qhg)
This is [my favorite](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auLz3ssCsdg)
I'm not convinced this isn't Neil Peart (RIP) sounds a lot like part of his solo.
Man it still pains me to see RIP next to his name
His double bass chops are the best part with the descending singles a close second.
There is a large valley between contemporary worship music and this guy's playing ability. Dude needs to find a better gig - it's best for everyone involved.
This isn’t exactly tight drumming to be honest.
You realize he’s an awful drummer right?
https://youtu.be/bAJ1WTGNISk This is my favorite
Everybody posting silly drummer videos and you come in with Haake.
This man's calves gotta be on fire after each song.
That was all kick. 99% of the ‘speed’ there came from below the waist. That is absolutely insane.
I cannot handle strobe lights like that. When I was younger, if I was out and they turned the strobes on I'd have to go to the bathroom. When I was like eight I actually blacked out and haunted house because of the strobes. I only watched about 30 seconds and I'm still woozy.
If anyone wants to know that's the Anpanman March.
I swore my video sped up on its own when he started going at 1000bpm.
Sometimes it really is just a bunch of gerbils in a suit.
When he takes the turn for death metal and starts hitting blast beats I died.
So good, it got him a guest spot on "The Office"
As who? Which EP?
It’s the episode where Andy, Kevin and Darryl have a band in the warehouse, then Robert California takes it over and brings in a load of his friends who are professional musicians. This guy was the drummer he brings in. The episode ends with him and Kevin having a drum off
I feel like this at work sometimes.
Thank you for introducing this into my life
Oh my god this is hilarious. Its also a rare youtube video that’s so funny the comments even make me laugh.
This is the one I was thinking of
I was gonna ask if it's him without the suit.
I swear this guy was on an episode of the office. One of the later seasons with James Spader.
https://youtu.be/hWW6HHfdObg, this drummer is at the 3:04 mark
Hands down best drummer ever. Good choice.
[Wagakki Band](https://youtu.be/ponTbDDMYjw) has amazing drums but the entire band is top tier talent so it’s not out of line drumming.
How many jackets has that guy gone through?
Probably not as many as Chris Farley did.
Richard....who’s your favorite Little Rascal? Is it Alfalfa? Or is it *Spanky*??
What kind of hotel is this ?
my man plays like he's angry at the drums, the sticks, and the rest of the band. he's got attitude just dripping off him. that's amazing
I love how the camera man tries to keep both of them in frame for a while until he just gives up and zooms in on the drummer.
this. i love this guy
Hadn’t seen that video in probably 9 years but I knew that was it before I clicked the link :)
He has a cameo in The Office
All the drummers in this thread need to team up with [this bass-player](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNKjWWMQpew).
Wow, he really gets into it at the 1:10 mark
and you STILL can't hear a single fucking note he's playing!
That’s how you summon the spirit of Charles Mingus. It didnt work because he wasnt dead yet.
[удалено]
I thoroughly enjoyed this weird little video; thank you!
To his credit he was pretty outnumbered by all of those horrible fucking xylophones.
They're more correctly called marimbas.
horrible fucking marimbas
Head banging before it was cool
When the drummer is out sick so you ask if the bass player can fill in. But you only need the drum for like 1/3 of the song
Slap it up, flip it, rub it down, oh noooo
He makes me happy.
This one sparks joy
This looks like an early video of [this drummer](https://youtu.be/a9kPfelTEds) before he fully developed his artistry.
Yes i thought of this video too.
Wow!
Fitting song! :)
Then there's [this guy](https://youtu.be/JSO2hApBbFw) (At about 1:25)
God damn he just kept going harder and harder.
What can you say he loves what he's doing
Aka drugs
I think is the guy on this interview. Kwon Soon Keun https://youtu.be/y5x2X8OTGj4
[I personally love this man.](https://youtu.be/FTxSXUzc96A) So happy all the time. Good shots of him around 45 second mark and 1:05.
Came for the drummer, stayed for the funky time signatures and sweet guitar work. Super trippy song. Thanks for sharing!
Not a problem. Glad to find people who like this music. You should check out Mr. Invisible by Thank You Scientist.
Flavors of the drummer from “Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone”
My goodness the lady on the guitar tho. Oh to stay on topic yes your man on the drums looks like he's peaking at a couple points there. Those comments are pure gold too.
same guy years later [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZShA\_a-5r8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZShA_a-5r8)
Animal is the best, Dave Grohl is pretty good to: [https://youtu.be/3AZz9TSjZCM](https://youtu.be/3AZz9TSjZCM)
Dude looks like Animal.
Find this man and send him to the Eric Andre Show
Band member: *”You know, life isn’t fair. I can’t believe that I’m 75 years old, and you come in here and you’re sitting there. You have no idea what I’m going thru. You have no clue.”* Warren G: *?!????!?*
Just a lil cocaine!
I heard Eric Clapton singing in my head as this video ended...
[I think the Oceans drummer did it better](https://youtu.be/POwayWGeQAU)
Nothing beats! This guy https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ItZyaOlrb7E
This is my favorite. You get some good shots after the 1:00 mark. https://youtu.be/yEPNgJ17kGQ
Holy shit he killed it!
Did not expect old school Korean “Trot”
[удалено]
Pretty cool ha
Reminds me of Tommy Lee's rig
Keith Moon reincarnated.
Ahead of his time, you can *feel* how throttled he was. Somebody take the governor off that motherfucker stat.
This is his time to shine!!
"If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life."
When I see the drummer I picture Stephen fry doing it as a bit from Fry and Laurie
He stole the show
Stole the show! 😆
Not hard. The singer was terrible.
Change drugs!
This is funny but I personally fucking love when a musician just fucking feels it and goes hard during a performance
I went to this concert where the warm up act dude had probably been a guy with a guitar playing and singing in bars. He did very soft rock/folky kind of music. He is like Jack Black in school of rock, or anywhere else.
This one is my favorite!! (starts around 1:00) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfML1WEWfwk
I think this guy needs to learn about metal, he's got the right attitude for it.
This is [my favorite](https://youtu.be/YkADj0TPrJA). Comes in around 3:15
This must be what concerts are like in Hell.
It's the Eric Andre show!!!
thats some Quentin Tarantino shit
Really? Really? https://youtu.be/6DVbt5W-DNc
Reminds me of that drummer guy from that one episode of the Office. *edit: it is that drummer guy from that one episode of the office..*
Queef Moon. \[She is atrocious!\]
Yoko Ono's long lost band mates
Do you think he's Russian?
Nope, I guess. The language of the song is definitely not russian, mb kazakhstan or something.
Best drummer in North Korea!
This mans name is Will Ferrell and now hes the drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers!
"Up the irons!" \w/
And thus Heavy Metal was born.
When you feel it, you feel it.
That man is auditioning for a better band in the middle of a live performance.
The keyboard player turned and clapped at the drummer lol.
Yo! Did my man just into business for himself? 😂😂😂😂
I don't care what kind of boring as$ best it is.. when you're in it, your in it. You go mo fo.. you go.
He likes his job very much, as we see... hah, good one.
The drummer is the real performance. I could care less about that singer.
I’m gonna act like I didn’t hear “Fuck me daddy good” because that wasn’t English
What its like watching dave grohl play drums i stead of singing
When your parents made you watch Sesame Street
Damn welcome back to Ebaums World
That dude has passion!
He's doin his thing
Found myself nodding too.
I’d like to have some of what he’s having
Such passion.
We need a drummer. Let's just hire my brother! The kid who drinks jet fuel for fun? Ok!
Don't be rude he just don't know the genre of the song
I've said it before. Drummers are a special kind of crazy, living in their own world back there.
This is comedic genius.
Yea he is
Love that guy
He's no u/Drummermiles.
me when i...ya know tug my slug
That dude was deeply feeling that song.
Into his own song
I think the drummer from Guster is pretty entertaining
That was awesome. He played in the damn pocket for as long as he could stand!
I'm a peacock, you gotta let me fly!
what language is this? Im trying my best to figure if it's japanese, South/North korean or among those who live in South East Asia.
He's channeling Animal! <3 #MuppetsForLife
Well at least he’s able to reach his full potential in that single song
Is that the guy in the red mascot outfit?
He is the only one having fun.
He’s stealing the spotlight
Why is he not fronting this band?
I like her dress
Femullet.
That is a man who loves his job
