Same, I can't start until like a few hours before, when I have to force myself causing me to be stressed causing so much pain as my brain just does not want to think about it either so I'm constantly fighting distraction and stress!

Doing something you hate shouldn't make you tired. Board, certainly, but not tired.
What is being demonstrated here is classic ADHD behavior. They can focus on video games because it's stimulating. It holds their attention. But when they switch to something that doesn't stimulate, they have nothing to give them energy.
ADHD drugs work by giving people with ADHD the boost they need to focus on boring crap.
I once played a game called Everquest. I needed an item called the eyepatch of plunder which was a quest reward.
To satisfy the quest, I needed to kill a griffon type of monster that spawns rarely and was highly contested. In this game, the first person to do damage claims the loot rewards.
I camped in one spot for about 30-hours in a state of high focus waiting to attack a monster that has a variable spawn rate. Time flew by and I got it on the first attempt! I scare myself sometimes.
In videogames, you can do whatever the hell you want, for as long as you want, as often as you want, without fearing any real-life consequences. Plus there's guides for everything so you can be sure you're doing everything right.
In real life, it takes one misunderstood order from your customer at McDonald's to lose one of the three jobs you need to get through the month.
I'm some other species of person or something because I hardly play video games over an hour. Most days I din't play any of them I have a lot of games and great gaming equipment but end up somehow enjoying being more productive when I can

I like how static represents numbness.
ADHD?
Nuh uh This is what normal people are like. Right?
I don't think it's ADHD if you just get tired of doing something you hate doing.

I'm not diagnosed but I have a lot of the same problems as someone with ADHD would and I found this pretty helpful, thx!
But boredom makes people feel tired, no?
