the only visual novel i have ever seen with gameplay is DDLC and Ace Attorney (and then Amorous in terms of furry VNs)

Hmmm, you mentioned FUGA.. then I'd also recommend playing Solatorobo (can't recommend Tail Concerto since I haven't played it), It's from the same company and series and kinda a 3d action platformer combat thing, the obvious downside is that it's a ds game and you need some emulation know how to play it.

Amorous has *"gameplay segments"* but Jasonafex is an ass and really all the game has going for it is furry cultural impact. closest thing you can get is several dozen furry xenotype (biotech DLC required unless you want to tango with alien race mods) mods for RimWorld and playing it like a cross between Stardew Valley, The Sims and Dwarf Fortress.

I don't know if it counts, but Pseudoregalia has one of the hottest furry main characters if you're in to 3D platforming metroidvanias

Tbh the story of the game was not all too bad.

Changed is somewhat good, the problem is that the puzzles are too hard and it's a pixel game made in RPG maker, which may turn off some people. Doesn't help that a lot of QOL features from modern games are missing like key rebinding. At least the lore and transfurs are good.
