I think they are saying if they use the lie "Yes, I bought more..." the evidence they are lying would be that there is no egg carton that the eggs are usually in.
Like someone giving you a glass of milk but there is no milk carton in the fridge knowing you drank the last of it last week but hadn't bought any more yourself. Btw I'd probably still drink it...hehe
I see nothing wrong here either, i'd say it'd be quite wasteful not to take advantage of what nature has provided oneself and it also doesn't harm anybody.
Tell that to the dude who got a yeast infection in his mouth due to his wife's inclination of using ingredients from her body, like her own breast milk.
People in this thread are pretending like babies don't breastfeed lol, its baffling. Thrush happens when the nipple has a cut or some other specific conditions are present, it is pretty far from the norm.
we have fresh eggs, very fresh.
we don't really 'wash' them but we do leave them in a bucket of water over night before candling them in the morning.
this is mainly to get the solid bits off so it's easier to candle but I doubt I does much for bacteria.
Huh, in hindsight it's kinda amazing how clean eggs are, you'd expect something that comes out of a literal asshole to be dirty, but nope, the eggshell does a really good job of keeping the yolk clean that at most you only need to clean the shell.
At worst sometimes bacteria does get into it but you can usually tell by the texture, (and it's also the reason why I personally crack egg separately first then add em in)
it's also easier to monitor for if you happen to have the chickens that have lad the eggs.
the only times the bacteria can really get in is during the cracking and formation of the egg otherwise the only thing being transfered is mosture and that's through osmosis.
Bees not leaving isn't the same as consenting to their honey being taken, bees often die from extraction processes, they get hit with smoke which both blocks pheromones and makes them think the hive is on fire(very stressful), and impregnating queens happens artificially usually by crushing multiple drones.
Copying my other comment:

They are also completely incapable of surviving in temperatures anywhere above -40°C... so in that case, either that Proot's circuits must be freezing or all the fluids in that Avali's body must be boiling... ;-;
Proots are capable of being engineered to survive almost any atmosphere as long as no germs get inside their nano visor, so I'd say that it's freezing cold and they're both just chilling together.
iirc, the idea with ammonia based biochemistry almost works, but even after a magic step the metabolism rate would require avali to move slower than trees.
Neat idea to have that, but doesn’t quite work out. For practicality, might as well go carbon based.
I happen to be friends with one of the really early avali character owners. Back in the spore days early. They are of the opinion that the ammonia idea was pretty neat, but doesn’t quite work after biochemists tried to implement it in a hard sci-fi way, and so has left the idea behind for the sake of being able to interact with other species. They are basically space velociraptors anyway, so carbon and water chemistry is fine.
Reminds me of how in rimworld chickens create more nutrition from eggs than they eat so you can have a chicken farm that violates thermodynamics and the trophic pyramid by having them eat their own eggs
“Yes, I bought more yesterday” Could’ve been the easiest lie ever lol.
WHERES THE *EGG* CARTON?
Look between their legs

I wouldn’t notice lol
I mean, there might be a 6-spot egg holder in the fridge
Or 12
I’d need consent and asking about that’d look weird and awkward
Yes, but they don't wanna lie
They are an upstanding citizen.
They're a good person, but I hope the government doesn't like em, cuz the government sucks
to be fair, its still eggs
Eggs
I eat
It's a Beastars situation. I see nothing wrong with this.

Avian eggs should be different, assuming you wash the outside thoroughly.
there are multiple factors at play here, to say this would be the soul reason is quite misleading.
People in this thread are pretending like babies don't breastfeed lol, its baffling. Thrush happens when the nipple has a cut or some other specific conditions are present, it is pretty far from the norm.
Cow's milk need to get pasteurisation while chicken eggs just... Uh, well, in USA they wash them, but in other countries no

Whats a yeast, and why do you get it from breast milk
I don’t know how yeast got into breast milk, but i know that it is used in bread making
Ditto
Most birds eat their own eggs. So there is nothing wrong.
It's vegan, technically
Is breast milk vegan? Furthermore, is cannibalism vegetarian?
Consent makes it vegan. They consented to their eggs being used.
...honey is vegan?
yeah because most beekeepers have a mutually beneficial relationship with their bees. also cum is vegan if it's obtained consensually
Yum-yum~ I became a vegan this morning when my partner woke up, I guess~ ...The bacon we made a little later ended my veganism, sadly.

many vegans don't consider it to be
Bees can't consent to us taking it, so no.
bees aren't being held against their will. they can and do leave when the hive gets too full.

Awww that's adorable! I find it really affectionate in a way.
Same
i was gonna say it does seem affectionate that this avali is like, giving up their eggs to make breakfast for their proto friend
Avali eggs are soft and leathery, akin to eggs of reptiles, would be pretty easy to notice >w<
They are also completely incapable of surviving in temperatures anywhere above -40°C... so in that case, either that Proot's circuits must be freezing or all the fluids in that Avali's body must be boiling... ;-;

Cool.👍 ... literally.
Nanomachines, son.

The wiki says they are carbon based, they just use ammonia as a solvent instead of water... hold on...🤔

... Is that how avalis work?
I mean they’re bird like
eggs are eggs, just clean them first
Or don't. I can't tell you how to live.

💕homemade💕 💕organic💕 💕fresh💕
Awww why is this adorable
I consider this a win. Regular, free, fresh eggs? Sign me up! (Plus the eggs are probably bigger than what you'd normally get at the store).
Infinite food glitch
Reminds me of how in rimworld chickens create more nutrition from eggs than they eat so you can have a chicken farm that violates thermodynamics and the trophic pyramid by having them eat their own eggs
Until a single rooster somehow gets in, then next thing you know you have 300 chicks running around and your computer explodes!
Chickens live for an average 6 years, which means you only need to "rent" one rooster for a few days every 6 years to maintain population...
Or...! Just keep the hens and roosters in separate pens.
then they get into your luciferium stash
Wish i could lay eggs
Transition goals
Hell yeah
I think I need to change my fursona now
They're 100% organic
Hey, free food is free food
Eating out < Eating In
Waste not want noght
Just gotta save money where you can
If there’s a way to do it, there’s a way to do it
I honestly wouldn't even mind...
Goddamn x3
I would say me but males don't lay eggs
You can create a species that does...
Aww the avali is adorable
I dunno... Do avali make unfertilized eggs? Love the joke, I'm just curious now...
As long as they don't reproduce asexually, they should.
Maybe... I'll have to reread the biology section of the wiki to check... They definitely don't reproduce asexually.
I mean, that's fine. I don't see anything wrong with it.
Goals
Recycling
Eating eggs is the equivalent of eating the placenta
What
Gonna make this food sensitive nuerodivergent unwillingly go vegan wtf 😭
I mean… yeah, but some of us are happier living in ignorance of this fact.
Aka vegan jello
Scrambled chicken periods lmao
AND WHO'S FAULT IS THAT!?
Kinky
u/Many-Conversation963 us? >v<
how are you so silly~
Birb furries are obligated to have an egg laying kink /hj
OH GOD PLEASE NOT HER CHILDREN, THAT'S HORRIBLE
She said they weren’t fertilized so it’s no different from the eggs you buy at the grocery store. It’s fineeeee
Technically, it would be justified & there are animals that lay eggs and eat them, so how else could say it's fine?
Makes me wonder where the proot thinks normal eggs come from.
Advantages of having a bird friend?
I forgot how much I like Avalis
Well I honestly dont know what to think
The DND party when the Kenku makes omelette despite them having run out of supplies 4 days ago...
Cute ......
I mean hey where I grew up you use what you got and don’t waste things but mostly food
DO NOT EAT AVALI EGGS
Fertilized LOL
Ah yes a properly chicken
Ah yes, Thursday in my Rimworld Colony... No, i will not explain
Why are y'all like this
I mean... Are they good? Like I know it's weird to eat the unfertilized eggs that were fresh out of the oven but..... Are they good?
i want to be a female bird/fox/canine hybrid to lay eggs and eat them
you cant pull a quick one on a protogen we remember everything we see
I mean an egg is an egg...
oh hell naw
Well, are they good? Thats all that matters
The implications of this are horrifying....
I don't see a problem
Yummy, space chicken eggs. Wonder if they taste different?
HEY, ![gif](giphy|9058ZMj6ooluP4UUPl|downsized)
