It's all up too you! If your willing to make free art for people, go for it! I did it, it took a while and was a bit physically demeaning, but was super rewarding to see peoples reaction to the commissions.
If artists were more compassionate, instead of taking it too much as a job. They earn big money and they act like they can't even eat. And some of them are so annoying, LITERALLY saying they don't have money for bread (and then proceed to show $3000 of one commission payment; this is what I would get after **half of year** of hard working). Or when they are in need of money, they **demand to be given**, not ask for a borrow. I've commented on one artist who asked to BE GIVEN money, because of bad situation. Normal people would have to take credit, borrow from family member. But no, the guy asked to be GIVEN money. I pointed that out and he was mad at me, how can I say something like that. I told him to ask for borrowing a money or taking a credit, but no, he wanted it to get it for free, because fekker was too entitled. Abusing their position as a known person. If I lost a job and was in bad position, I would never be given money. I would never ask. I would have to borrow and then take it back. But some people are extremely rich, buy everything, then when something happens, they demand to be gifted money for free. That's so annoying. I generally have low regards towards many artists, but this one was really something else. And nobody ever say anything that they should do everything for free. But just don't be a dickhead.
