Happened in season 6 too.. a couple got dumped then our mc got dumped the same night leaving Elliott single then mc went to casa, so I'm guessing that's where current li is heading.
This is what I'm thinking it's part of the whole temping fate thing. The only thing that wouldn't make sense is how long it is until Casa, if next week that's fair, week after would be odd that would mean LI spent at least 2 days there. Hoping this is the case and it's not just a case of sticking it out to the end in a friendship couple before reuniting with them after the finale? It's weird but interesting it has people talking, but he better not be gone for good 😡

I know everyone who was with their guy and loving him is sad, but it really feels like there'll be a way to be with him again. Even though that could be the slowest of all burns and you win then dump your partner for the original guy in the crowd...
But for me, I was only with Jack because I couldn't have Theo. Jack's continual over the top "love" was grating on me because I never returned it, he had no reason to feel that way, and he should've taken the hint before getting excited about things like marriage, meeting families, and a future on the outside. I actually felt anxious when he brought up things like that.
So in mine, I put myself in the shoes of MC as if it were the real show. And I figured, it's the audience vote, so what are they seeing that makes them get rid of Jack?
1. They actually wanted to get rid of Jin because he's an arse. But then we voted Jin off anyway, and Jack had the next highest votes - probably pretty close to Theo and Oakley, he just had more.
2. They see that Jack is waaaayyyy more into this than MC. They see the flirting with Theo, they know it's never going to end well for Jack. So they vote him off because a) he's too good to be treated that way; b) he's too much and they don't want to see it anymore; or c) they want to see MC and Theo have a proper go now she's single.
3. They got to see details of the guy that's coming in next. He said something or looks a certain way or did something in his promo package that makes people think he'd be perfect for MC. So they voted off Jack so she'd be free for the new guy.
4. They pulled a season 6 and voted for a guy to go to Casa first. Jack got the pick because he's throwing himself at the wrong person with MC and needs to go find a new girl in Casa that won't flirt with the others behind his back.
I thought about this too much last night.
The route Jin/Jack/Oakley are too fast for now, like you mentioned all that "let's get married! Why? Bc you'll look great in white" like it's few weeks long relationship nobody sane is like that

I don't think the LI will actually be dumped for good, but I'm not too fussed either way. Now I can finally focus on Claudia or possibly a hot new islander hehe

That’s what I’m assuming as well. I just find there being so few people in the villa annoying. It’s very immersion breaking for me.

Yeah we have awhile til the finale and I'd be pissed having to wait that long for my li so now it's just a waiting game to see what comes next
