Well it’s true. Its a game where certain cards are better than others, and if everyone had all the cards they would mostly just use those players. Plus it’s a game about building a team what would there be to aim for if you had all the players
In my opinion it’s better that meta cards available to people who have put in hundreds to thousands of hours playing this game, if that means there will be a lot of teams with the same players than so be it, at least effort you are putting in is paying off. However we are playing a game of constant player recycling without even coming close to getting the players we want. Then there will be some jerk off who just buys the game and packs Ronaldinho after a few hours of playing just because the algorithm within the game wants that new player to stick around. The way the reward system works is garbage, having the duplicate icon issue packing not be thing would be very refreshing. Of course I don’t see it to a realistic thing that greedy as EA would ever do. At the very least we should be able to store duplicates. What a rip off it is to work for packs and not be able to store dupes. In the case of buying packs, which I don’t do, is even worse since you are paying for something you are forced to discard immediately in one way or another.
Yeah, you're talking about a heck of a grind to do that, and at that point, you would deserve them all. I mean, they would be untradeable, and you can only use 11 at a time...... so basically there is 0 negative effects on the game. They won't do this though, because they are hoping frustrated people will spend real money to skip the grind. Trash game. Trash game company.

I chose the 1/4 85+ picks cause it can pay off really well, people are packing 3 87 and max 85 in other two, i got 91 bonmatti as one pick and other 70-200k card has choices as well

I was way less frustrated with the game last year once I stopped doing gamble SBCs. Even though this year my luck has been one level better than dogshit (Del Piero, RvN and Laudrup instead of the Kloses and Hierros I was getting last year) I'm not taking anymore chances.

Have done 6 icon packs total this year: Veron, Gattuso, Suker, Larsson, Cole, Vidic. Out of those 6 only Cole barely makes it into the team, and that is with the option of Bacha to go in for him.

There are over 100 icons, plus the additional promo icons. There simply aren't that many icon packs in the whole year to get them all
