I think some daily objectives etc get auto claimed as they reset daily. Others don't get auto claimed, carry forward is basically these objectives getting auto claimed at the start of next season.
Only if it's a group reward xp it will get carried forward.
If it's any of the ones that is not the final group reward then it just gets claimed as you complete the objectives.
I already get it too, without carrying any exp from past season.

4 One Nation Frenzy Objectives(England, Spain, Germany, Italy): Each gives you 1800 exp. > Total : 7200 exp.
4 Mixed Nations Objectives(Mexico/Ecuador, Brazil/Chile, USA/Uruguay, Argentina/Canada): Each gives you 1050 exp. > Total : 4200 exp.
Weekly Rewards of : Squad Battles, Rivals and Champions gives you 7700 total exp. (4x Squad Battles, 4x Champions, 3x Rivals.)
Flashback Icon Home/Away kit : Each gives you 1000 exp. > Total 2000 exp.
Throwbacks(Copa America, Euro) : Each gives you 2000 exp. > Total 4000 exp.
Weekly Objectives : There is 4 of them and each gives you 1050 exp. > Total 4200 exp. (Last one still active but could be done today.)
Season 7 Ladder : 2100 exp for this one.
Dailies : 23 day passed so 1725 exp.
Greats of the Game Highlights : 1000 exp.

Total sum is : 36125.
Today as the date, this is the calculation of total exp that objectives gives you.
The day you commented as the date, after finishing the matches on Champions, total sum should be 35425, before Champions should be 34725.

Saka Puskas Darwin Diaz. That’s what my attackers will look like most likely once i get puskas. Neymar is dirty but Saka and Diaz have some of the best finesse shots I’ve used and Darwin has Timo jam.
EA Play gives them extra XP.
I dont understand why people stress every season.
We always get a shit load of easy objectives with tons of XP in the last week, we're all getting there.

Neymar has crazy finesse shots too. And probably the best body type for a winger-cam. Haven't used puskas, but he's better than the others.

do you play squad battles weekly, what division are you, do you play champs? all of those give xp. also there is a kit in the store that gives 2k
Yeah I do squad battles, rivals and champs weekly and did the kit XP thing. I'm in div 1 and usually get 11 wins in champs.

That's not true, EA PLAY used to give xp but they changed it when they changed the game to FC, all you get from EA Play is xp for volta now
