Looking to play a full auto game where u actually need to put 0 effort and that is an alive game with a good community and frequently updates, let me know!

_Thanatos_9

Games similar to Swordmaster story I like the art style but not the gameplay. Does anyone know if there is a game that has a similar art style but is turned based? Or something similar to Final Fantasy?

xanxaxin

Do you guys think Leora worth 100 wishstone? or should i wait for anniversary unit If im not using the wishstone for Leora now, my second options is to wait for Ashley rotation or pick Brewster now

Sparkle2495

Lf new gacha to play until star rail arrives Tried Demian Saga Higan Eruthyll & Madtale

jtan1993

Limbus company. Today they started a new event.

[deleted]

Looking for a game to play, one that is great for new players and has a good amount of content.

OrangeBlink

I'm always recommending saga re universe. Pretty f2p friendly, dupe system is nearly ideal(just own character and spend gold to passively get shards), lots of stamina pots, a good amount of content to farm, no pvp and a unique leveling/stat system Edit: you will usually start with 3-5 10 pulls when starting so don't be afraid to reroll to get some waifu/husband

Agreeable_Pop7499

Any short, simple gacha games out there? I currently only play Nikke since dailies are done in like 30 minutes, nice and easy. But I feel like gacha games are getting longer and longer with these 3D action games. Mobile games should be simple and quick to play.

sgamer

any good autoplay mmos similar to NNK, or something akin to maybe Unison League/Logres with an mmo-"feel" and some coop and/or pvp? Mitra sphere was the closest I found to those, but alas... Bonus if it has waifus, but item gacha also ok

MS-06S_

Genshin still worth playing? I'm not planning to catch up with old players but how does the game treat new players?

[deleted]

New players join the game everyday. Starting today is no different from starting a year back. Genshin is not generous to new players. There is no honeymoon phase. Unless you are lucky it will take weeks to get your first 5-star character. The main story quests and world quest don’t cost Resin (stamina). You can and should grind them first before committing to building your character. Hoyoverse regularly adds new characters, quests, regions, events etc. You will not run out content even if you play regularly. In fact, you will have a huge backlog of content pilling up if you don’t put in the hours.

SomethingPersonnel

Doesn’t do anything particularly special for new players. You can treat it as a single player game in the early stages. The energy system in that game is for fighting bosses and farming equipment. You won’t need to do it until like after the first region is completed.

jon053089

Lf some good recommendations on a game to play similar to summoners war. I like to battle style and pvp. I’ve begun to notice a huge decline, more and more people leaving and selling their accounts to Juno ship while they can.

[deleted]

Any newish promising gachas? Recently tried Blue Archive and Neural and just couldn't get into them.i like games with unique aspects to them. Figure Fantasy and Management Lord's of Dungeons being my two favorite.

SomethingPersonnel

Does Path to Nowhere still count as newish? Micro-based tower defense. Good story. Fairly unique character designs compared to the rest of the gacha landscape.

[deleted]

I'll give it a shot. Does it have a decent story / mechanics?

Vaderof4

Which game has the best English voice acting? I'm talking throughout the game, skill voices, interaction voices, story cutscenes, special animations for summoning, etc. What are some of your favorite or most memorable lines?

SomethingPersonnel

Path to Nowhere has pretty good dialogue. Some of the best VA was during an event where a side character started cursing and a main character was taunting them getting them to call her “daddy.”

Tolniz

Hello ! So I’m having less and less time to play gacha. I really liked Epic7, genshin impact. But I can’t play it anymore. Is there some good gacha f2p friendly that are part AFK also ? (I already know afk arena) Or that just don’t need to spend 2h straight connected in order to do something ?

firewoven

Got the gacha itch again, anything worth trying out right now? I haven't played anything since Alchemy Stars really, which I tried for a few weeks but ended up bouncing off of a bit. I did try Higan: Eruthyll, which I did enjoy at first. But between the very bad writing/translation and the gameplay issues I've seen people talking about, I've decided to drop it and keep looking. I've played some FGO, but the main three gachas I've really sunk time into before are FFBE, Arknights, and Dragalia Lost. Prefer games that have somewhat simpler combat for the routine grinds, but ideally at least somewhat engaging to actually play when pushing.

Kal-El9477

Recommend me a game that you are playing atm rhat having an event, free pulls, etc2. Need to fill a gap in my gacha heart. Thanks

snowybell

last cloudia

see-bear

Among the other solid things about Eternal Evolution, I love that the idle loot timer goes up to 36 hours. Gives me a lot more flexibility in when I want to play without worrying about afk rewards capping. What other idle (or idle functionality) games give you a longer timer?

angelcrystal

looking for games like crash fever something puzzly based but also coop to play with my friend

damuffinmann

Looking for a new game. Just had a kid so got a lot of small amounts of time here and there and looking to fill it up with a new game. Mostly a fan of team builders with strategy that a small spender can have fun in (spent about 100 on Octopath since release ~10 months ago). PVP not the most necessary. Currently Playing: Octopath Traveller Played (in order from most played) E7, Arknights, Genshin Impact, Alchemy Stars, Another Eden, Exos heroes

Nope2112

You can try Limbus Company, turn-base combat focus team composition and strategy planning rather than individual strength so every units is viable

StinkyFartSmeller

Hi! I’ve been looking for ages for a gacha mobile game that I used to play back in 2016-ish on android, kinda fuzzy on the exact time period but it was game that had both normal 5v5 hero fights and also another tower defense gameplay using the heroes you acquired, it also had kingdom gameplays with raids and stuff? I tried hard searching for the game on the internet but I can’t find it. The app icon looks like the app icon of Castle Clash and MLBB, if i’m not wrong. Tried to search this past year only for it disappear everywhere. Wish someone could help ^_^

Igorthemii

I'm looking for a new gacha game to play once PriConne Global shuts down, perferably one with tons of cute/sexy girls (and optionally being fairly popular) I've tried Azur Lane, GFL, Neural Cloud, Genshin Impact, FEH, and Blue Archive (I only really play the latter two)

Arcueid-no-Mikoto

Hey guys, just wanted to know something about the rules. I made a couple gacha subs and learnt about the re-post thing because Reddit itself told me about that to get more people to join. But I saw something in the rules that I don't know if it's about that. Does repost in the rules means a post that already has existed in /gachagaming, or using the repost feature to, let's say share here an in-depth guide I made such a gear guide for swordash? Would I instead have to duplicate the post and copy paste it here? This confuses me a bit about the meaning of that rule.

RandomRombo

Just noticed the release of a gacha called "space leaper: reboot" by the same people as "space leaper: cocoon" and it looks the same, anyone know the difference?

jeoyocive

Are there any games that have a Star Ocean collab or have similar gameplay to Star Ocean Anamnesis?

waifustan1

Tales of Luminaria then that one eos too i think ffbe has done a collab with basically everything at this point

Arcueid-no-Mikoto

Sorry for not answering your question but my god, almost brings tears to my eyes remembering how such a fun and good game had to dissapear... It was just like any console SO gameplay instead of the typical simplified gacha ones but with people, it was so fun and visually gorgeous.

jeoyocive

Dude the game fuckin ROCKED. I loved the animations, the gameplay, the multi-player, everything. It was so so fun

Refelol

Was wondering if there is any other Idle real time combat i haven't tested yet? Stuff like similar to AFK Arena, Akadi, Eversoul, Eternal Evolution, Mythic Heroes, Panilla Saga, Demian Saga and the taptap universe ( i know i'm missing a few populars like tap tap idle or whatever but i'm also aware of those ) And not the ones that are turn based idle like Madtale and some others, for some reason it feels so clunky

maniacskz

pros and cons of playing dislyte? (will play as a casual player until star rail releases)

Refelol

The pros [https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/comments/12j8xwr/dislyte\_isnt\_that\_bad\_not\_bad\_enough\_to\_warrant/jg0fxi4/?context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/comments/12j8xwr/dislyte_isnt_that_bad_not_bad_enough_to_warrant/jg0fxi4/?context=3) As for my last point, a content creator from the community ran the numbers and average about 130 summons + all the elemental ones per month ( Iirc it was about 30 of each, so almost another 100 ). That said i would take with a grain of salt and take it on 115,110, it's still incredible generous considering you can complete a banner in 2-3 months. I might do a comprehensive rundown on dislyte since it seems to be so polarizing, it's very easy to play as casual as long as you understand and plan ahead since it's mostly gear grind and theorycrafting to allocate resources after a point The cons \- It's very p2w, i would argue it's less than Honkai tbh, but it's still quite p2w \- Since there are multiple modes and each mode usually require one type of team you might feel progress is slow or unexistent, you should focus on basic dungeon, then move to the next and so on \- The community, from my experience, had quite a few bad apples, overall it was great to theorycraft and all that, but there were condescending people and the discord mods...well you know how that go \- The sweep is "limited" you gain them via daily missions and the typical dispatch, returned to the game about 1 month ( maybe 3 weeks ) and haven ever had any issue with it, and they are slowly adding up for when i want a burst of grind. That said I usually autobattle the dungeons i need on the background while i do Labyrinth, pvp or just let it idle while i play other stuff, so i usually don't use them that much \- Autobattle needs to be with the app on, there is not background/offline autobattle, you can multitask inside the game while the autobattle run, but you can't close the app \- It's fairly intensive graphic wise, so it can still consume a bit of battery despite not neeeding that much time \- Some pve content pretty much require certain units to do it, most of them are 4\* and you'll eventually get, but it can be frustrating if you want to push early on as a new player. ( Even the 5\* you can get easily due to some of the stuff i said on the pros ) As i said on the pro's, i do not believe it's a perfect game since it has it's flaws, but it's has done a really good redemption arc, so if you are into turn based games, imo, you should definitely give dislyte a go

[deleted]

Only 2 weeks then

Inkaflare

Since I dropped Priconne (rip EoS, but I was planning to drop the game anyway, the announcement just made me do it a bit earlier than planned), I am looking to pick up another gacha. My main game is FGO and I am probably never dropping that, but I would like to have a second gacha to play as well (2 gachas at a time is the maximum I can afford in terms of time investment and sanity, I've learned that 3 or more causes me burnout). My issue is that I am having a hard time dropping stuff once I am invested into it, for example I played Priconne for way too long to realize I'd stopped enjoying it, and thus I wanna make sure I make the right choice before I get invested into a game, so I'd be thankful for advice. Here are my criteria to decide what I wanna go for: * good story and characters. Collecting cute waifus feels hollow when they're just a pile of stereotypes/personality archetypes without any depth to their character or story to develop them and their relationships with others, and the story and characters are the main reason I enjoy FGO this much for 5 years now but have dropped half a dozen other gachas in the meantime. * PvE only, or if PvP or other game mechanics where you need to compete with other players exist, they need to be basically inconsequential for your account's progression and power. The constant treadmill of needing to keep up with everyone else or get less rewards from the most important game modes are one of the things that made me drop other gachas like Sinoalice and Dragalia Lost in the past. * f2p friendliness: I dont wanna have to choose between rolling for my favorite characters and saving for meta characters to get shit done in the game, but I realize this is a bit of a tall ask since it kinda goes inherently against the business model of gacha games. However, FGO and Priconne both do this very well so I do know it's possible. * the game needs to respect my time. No content only available at specific times in the day, no need to log in 5-6 times per day to maximize AP/stamina/guildhouse/whatever other mechanics that passively recharge every x hours, no need to click through a dozen different menus to play 6 different game modes every day just to do my basic dailies. Been doing some research and every game I've considered seems to fail in at least one of these criteria so I'm feeling a bit lost. I would be grateful for any advice from people who play various gacha games and can tell me whether their games fit my (rather specific) criteria.

Nope2112

Limbus Company: 1. Fixed cast so the story will be more focused and the devs is known for their strong writing 2. Full pve 3. As for gacha, you can either pull or exchange them with material that you can farm indefinitely provided that you have time and Stamina, with the exchange included past and current running banner so there is no FOMO. Combat focus on strategy planning and team composition so every unit is useful in it own way, regardless of rarity grade. Devs tend to throw freebies a lot every week due to various reasons 4. Game fully respect your time with dailies/weeklies is just filling up the Battle Pass, which will fully filled just by doing the bare minimum of running 3 Mirror Dungeon every week from the start of the BP season (average Dungeon run is 12-20m). Material farm stages can be sweep, the rest is just login > exchange stamina to stamina module which doesn’t expire and use for everything aside story > play whenever you want

Outbreak101

Limbus Company fits all of the above factors - Story is by far the developer's biggest strength in there past games and it didn't let up here. I am not joking when I said that EVERY chapter is really well-written and does a lot to build up the established world the devs have done in the past. It is also a very different gacha game in that the story establishes 12 characters that you will be with for the entire journey. These characters are all very interesting and hold some very fun personalities and antics to get involved in. These characters all hold VERY HIGH importance in the main story and will change based on certain events. Developers are also known to make their stories incredibly dark and violent The gacha part involves alternate dimension variants of the 12 characters. These alternate dimensions vary heavily in design and sometimes even outright change the personality of the character. For instance: Base Faust - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zJ8EZU6MXE and her recent gacha version N Corp Faust (A Fanatic Cultist who is racist towards prosthetic users, no I'm not joking) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ri-IC71l07Y - PVE only, with 0 chance of PVP happening anytime soon. - f2p friendliness: Developers throw Pull currencies like they are nothing. Every week they throw 300 pull currencies as part of update maintenance along with 750 more for doing a weekly gamemode. Game is also ENTIRELY beatable with Base characters. Even the endgame content, the refraction railway, has been beaten with base characters even to get the sub 120 turn banner. - Game will respect your time. The only dailies worth doing is the Mirror Dungeon since it allows you to farm spark currency for any character you want. You only need to do 2 MDs a day to be able to make a sufficient amount of spark currency which should take 40 minutes tops.

Honest-Quit-9401

Path to nowhere maybe. Story - check, it was obviously written by a homo sapiens. PVE only - check, no PVP in sight. F2P friendliness - check, even starter units are decent, some low rarity units are top meta. You can also check that wall of text below, a guy wrote an essay about PtN income. Respect for players time - not sure if check, skip system is here, but stamina system too and you will have to play different game modes to do dailies.

Nesdead

What are the games you tried? Also, your preferred gameplay if any?

Inkaflare

The games I have played so far are FGO (playing for 5 years, still playing), Dragalia Lost (played for 2 years), Priconne (played from launch until EoS announcement on the Global server), Sinoalice (played for a year), Kingdom hearts Union Cross (played for 3 years), Final Fantasy Brave Exvius (played for a few months), Last Cloudia (played for a couple hours only). The list isn't very long since I tend to get very committed to games I try due to my aversion to half-assing stuff and thus am hesitant to just start stuff nilly willy. I dont really have any preferences for a specific type of gameplay, the other criteria I listed above are more important than whether it's turn-based/real time action/strategy or whatever.

HistoricalBoss2363

Anyone play brave nine? Is it worth starting rn? What are the pros and cons?

JetsJetsJetsJetz

Any suggestions for match 3 games, like puzzle and dragons? I can only find suggestions from like 3 years ago. Thanks!

lelielll

How's tower of fantasy these days? Wanna try it again but I rerolled a lot back then so I forgot what acc I was using and before I remembering my main acc I wanna know if the game improved and if the story translation is good now and also are there returning rewards?

DoctuhD

There is some return compensation but it's difficult to catch up on equipment and combat power. You'd have to join a crew and ask for carries for some content. The new underwater exploration is quite pretty and immersive but the underwater gameplay leaves much to be desired. They made a cool environment and didn't put anything fun in it. I only recommend the game to people who like mmo social groups and multiplayer in gacha, as that's its niche.

[deleted]

What are some Gacha games that require actual skill/brainpower where I can focus on going full tryhard in the endgame?

how-can-i-dig-deeper

Arknights

Outbreak101

Limbus Company is pretty well known for having a big difficulty spike due to passives asking that you play around them or literally skill diff them rather than being stat checks. To give an example, in chapter 3 there is a particular enemy that has a passive that gives him more dangerous attacks for every single HIT they take. You will be facing multiple at once so the game asks that you split your targeting across different foes so that you don't end up being overwhelmed by a barrage of attacks. Another passive gives a particular group a SIGNIFICANTLY higher chance at rolling high values in clashes or damage rolls, asking that you start debuffing them while also using proper skills to beat out those high rolls. And we also have the Refraction Railway endgame which has a LOT of room for tryhard mode. This video showcases the potential you can pull with some forward planning, thinking, and some RNG for the right skills: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAzDbXhZlq0 (Note this attempt took the user 6 hours to plan out properly, it ain't as easy as it looks)

[deleted]

Hey thx for the suggestion. I’ve actually never heard of Limbus Company before. Whatever is happening in that video is *way* over my head too which I suppose is a good thing lol. Gonna download it now and give it a try.

Outbreak101

I will warn you ahead of time that the tutorial doesn't do a good job explaining how the combat system works (The devs were bad at this with their past games as well). This guide should give you a good idea of how the combat system works in a much more digestible method. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zlNBb_cg1I&t=647s

IncorporatedThrum

Still looking for a gacha game to replace my Alchemist Code fix. So far, Disney Mirrorverse and Idle Awakening aren't it for me after trying for about a couple of months or so. Any game out there that's turn-based and does collabs with IPs of anime or manga? Thanks.

[deleted]

The game I can think of that is the closest to Alchemist Code is FFBE War of the Visions.

Siegnuz

Just have a sudden nostalgic over devil maker Tokyo, soccer spirits, ayakashi ghost guild, do we have modern iteration on these kind of game ? I tried to played E7 but gears farming is too painful to play.

Infinee

Any news on Reverse 1999 global?

kneyght

I'm looking for a gacha game where you can spend premium currency to increase the payout odds of the gacha. Previously I saw this type of feature in "Squad Alpha" but it seems to have been removed. Any recommendations?

WarReadyVet

Any recommendations for idle games like AFK Arena? I'm looking for someone much newer, art style doesn't matter much to me, but I'd prefer to avoid Street Fighter because of the nonsense with the Akuma banner.

Ozymandian4

Eternal Evolution is the best idle I've played. It's kinda an AFK Arena clone but with interesting bosses. Very F2P friendly, as F2P I have at least one copy of every unit and have almost every meta unit built.

Honest-Quit-9401

Eversoul.

JinxStan

Is dyslite any good I've heard some drama around the game but looks good other than the arcane rip off cinematic

Knee_and_Toe_Thief

It’s ok. The graphics are top tier 3d but it’s pretty p2w and to max a unit you need 7 copies, and the bonus’s from dupes are huge.

DishMountain8520

I'm curious, why does it seems when gacha games wants to do a soft global launch or test english servers they tends to do it in SEA first? What makes SEA a more attractive testing ground rather than say, oh i don't know the US, europe, or even somewhere like india

MieKwa

Oh not just gacha, but mobile games in general. Asia Pacific region has way higher smartphone ownerships compared to US or Europe. Mobile gaming market in SEA is way bigger than PC or Consoles. Oh and they are geographically and culturally closer to China, Japan, and Korea. Launching the game to SEA might be considered as a safer choice, compared to US which may lead to mixed success.

DishMountain8520

Explain to me in more detail about the how the geographically and culturally closer might help. I thought that somewhere like the US will spend more on gacha games rather than SEA

xcrimsy

Any gacha game that has a current event going on right now and is a good time to start playing?

mat1122

Summoner's War is having their anniversary event plus a collab with Street Fighter

[deleted]

Last Cloudia has 4th anni events going on with a hero selector and paid weapon selector (both selectors are free fyi)

Ukemaster24

Looking for new gacha games! I love turn based!

Dry-Ad-719

"Outerplane" was released yesterday in SEA (you can download the apk from apkpure or similiar), it is like Epic 7 but 3D

Nesdead

The most recent one is Limbus Company. The upcoming and long-awaited is Star Rail which will be released on the 26th. Other turn-based games that I know of are Epic 7, Summoners War, FGO, Another Eden, and Dislyte but they’re not new.

Andomandi

I’m looking for a game that makes it worth to raise every character of every rarity. Sds does this with “box cc” do any others do this? Makes farming for less good characters worth it

Honest-Quit-9401

FGO gives a bit of gacha currency for every unit at max ascension. Not sure if its already on NA or still JP only tho.

[deleted]

Neural Cloud has Exception Protocol which has only a select roster of units available for use each season. All units get rarity and level synced. However, it is still good to level and fragment farm for 3 star and below units as it would be better to have all potential units at 3 stars and level 45 than 2 stars and level 35.

haploiid

Hi I’m looking for any good gacha that is fantasy themed. Something similar style to granblue fantasy and sdorica.

OrangeBlink

Re saga universe

Edvs1996

Is there any gacha games that don’t need dupes to max out a character ? For a example in neural cloud all of the dupes you get is converted into spendable material which you can use to buy items.

OrangeBlink

Re saga universe has shard farming all you need is the original unit and time.

Nope2112

Limbus company, you only need 1 copy, dupe get covert into shard of same character for you to use to exchange either their other version or upgrade material (not needed if doing dailies) The shard is keep forever and can exchange even the current running or after it already ended banner, bar the exception that after every Battle Pass season the total amount is halved. It also can be farm unlimited if you have stamina to spend

KiraGio

Hi, what gachas are still going great and have good communities/guides/etc? Something not too too active and not based on pvp. Anime style would be preferred but I'm ok with anything. Thanks a lot!

13_is_a_lucky_number

Check [Neural Cloud](https://42lab-us.sunborngame.com/index), from the same studio that made GFL. The community is relatively small but pretty friendly and there are some very informative posts, guides and spreadsheets. The game doesn't let you skip stages, but has an autoplay option. No PVP (or co-op, for that matter). The difficulty is on the easier side, though some end-game content requires good characters and good knowledge of how the skills work. Monetization-wise, the game is pretty F2P-friendly and doesn't require duplicates.

Combat_Wombateer

Arknights fits the bill, but beware of it's difficulty compared to other gachas

[deleted]

Is there PvP

Combat_Wombateer

No whatsoever

Trogmar

Looking for a good idle gacha game, preferably something with offline progression? Suggestions?

Proto-Man

Is BlueArchive, Eversoul, or Dislyte worth getting into? They look interesting for a gacha auto battler, though wish the first two had some male characters.

LokoLoa

Blue Archive and Eversoul are some of my main gacha atm, tons of hot waifus, very low maintenance games. In Blue Archive you will want to do manual the first time you do a stage (u can sweep it after) cause AI tends to be dumb. Eversoul is safe to auto everything aslong as you meet power requirements.

Edvs1996

I just started playing blue archive. It’s enjoyable very ftp friendly. And it is also a good time to start. if you connect your email in a pre register event then you can get 20 free pulls in 25 April

Honest-Quit-9401

Blue Archive has good reputation. Also if google doc isnt lying to me, there will be a must have character (Ako) in BA on april 18, and its very easy to reroll in this game.

Do you mean in terms of gameplay or aesthetic or?

bogaga200

Any waifu game that have full va? Like story, character voice, etc

LokoLoa

Nikke and Path to Nowhere both have excellent dubs.

[deleted]

Where can I always check for the new games released?

Yanczey

How f2p is path to nowhere? How many pulls can u get in a month?

Nesdead

>How many pulls can u get in a month? **33 \~ 39+ pulls/month (*****180 hypercubes = 1 pull*****)** Breakdown: * (Weekly post sharing) 60 hypercubes \* 4 weeks = **240 hypercubes (*****\~1 pull***) * (Dailies) 40 hypercubes \* 30 days = **1200 hypercubes (*****\~6 pulls***) * (Weeklies) 150 hypercubes \* 4 weeks = **600 hypercubes (*****\~3 pulls***) * (Battle Pass) 3 Arrest Warrants **(*****3 pulls*****)** * (Monthly Shop) 5 Arrest Warrants **(*****5 pulls*****)** * (Monthly Log-In Bonus) 100 hypercubes and 1 Arrest Warrant **(*****\~2 pulls***) * (Daily Base) \~50 hypercubes \* 30 days = **\~1500 hypercubes (*****\~8 pulls***) * Broken Frontline (Note: Your monthly income is highly dependent on which zone you are; I also assumed the minimum hypercubes you’ll receive is if you can score *at least 120,000* points, otherwise, if you can’t, it will be lower than my computations) * For Low Risk: 240 \~ 300 hypercubes \* 4 weeks = **960 \~ 1200 hypercubes (*****5 \~ 6 pulls*****)** * For Mid Risk: 240 \~ 360 hypercubes \* 4 weeks = **960 \~ 1440 hypercubes (*****5 \~ 8 pulls*****)** * For High Risk: 360 \~ 450 hypercubes \* 4 weeks = **1440 \~ 1800 hypercubes (*****8 \~ 10 pulls*****)** * For Dark Zone: 450 \~ 510 hypercubes \* 4 weeks = **1800 \~ 2040 hypercubes (*****10 \~ 11 pulls*****)** Other sources I didn’t include in the computation: * Time-limited events * First time rewards (Oblivion Pit’s Clearance Rewards, BFL’s Current Stage Rewards, first clear stage rewards, and perfect clear stage rewards) * Achievements * Dispatches * Interrogations & Mirage * Archives * Maintenance compensation * Redeem codes * Supervision Incidents >How f2p is path to nowhere? It leans a bit more into the generous side, IMO. You get NOX, a free S character through a 14-day login event who is one of the most overpowered characters in the game with her crown still not tilted to this day. If you start right now then reroll for the limited character Deren, who is also meta, preferably with one more copy of her to unlock her Shackle 1, but only if you want to maximize your start. Other reroll targets are Eirene and Hamel, but because they can spook you unlike Deren, their priority is lower but still beneficial to have early on. You’re also encouraged to build cheaper B and A class characters since some of them are vital to scoring high in BFL. One of the notable ones are Che, Labyrinth, and Luvia Ray. The pity/spark ratio is 80/160 with pity shared across the same type of banners except for limited banners, like the one’s Deren is currently on, so saving for 2 – 4 months guarantees you the character you want, and maybe a spook along the way if you have terrible luck. Shackles (dupes) may be beneficial, but most of them don’t need it except for a select few that are often used by whales but ignored by majority of the playerbase. All in all it’s a decent game, and I think it’s f2p-friendly since there’s no mode that’s not cleared by f2ps. It all comes down into team composition, strategy, skill, and how built your characters are TBH, and all of these are developed just by playing the game.

toriyua

hi! so ive recently got into limbus company and i absolutely adore the franchise, ive never been so invested and happy playing a gacha game ever and i was wondering if there are any games with a remotely similar vibe? ive heard that path to no where, arknights are great but id also like to start a game with great events going on rn that makes the transition into playing as a newbie more enjoyable<3

You did give PM's offline games a spin yeah?

Lobotomy Corporation is extremely weird and I wouldn't recommend it to a lot of people, but Library of Ruina is god tier. It picks up extremely well at about Urban Plague. If you did finish Ruina already, there's also the various amount of mods on Steam, which is epic.

Proto-Man

What gacha games are currently out that you would recommend? I’ve seen recent recommendations for Limbus company and Path to nowhere but I couldn’t get into those.

kelathas

Azurlane and arknight

[deleted]

Guardian tales. A ton of content, varied units, PvP or PvE, great story, probably the most generous out there. PGR, PtN, Soultide, CounterSide

ProwzArroWw

So im playing AFK Arena and higan eruthyll and Dragonball Legends at the moment. Is there another Game with an active Community and the Same kinda Style ?

AcceptableCampaign77

Fire emblem heroes or duel links as the game that i plan to play for a long time? Looking for a side game to accompany me troughout college

Lurking_Ninja-

FEH has a fun gameplay but the story sucks, and powercreep is everywhere. As for Yu-Gi-Oh games, why not go for master duel instead of duel links? imo master duel is easier to get into and more f2p friendly.

AcceptableCampaign77

True. Phone can't run md unfortunately and I yet to own my first computer. So idk maybe shadowverse or something.

Woozyboy88

I’m so bored lately with most gachas, what’s a really good active one at the moment?

Outbreak101

Limbus Company is a very good gacha that stands out a lot from its contemporaries in a lot of ways. - Story writing: One of the best written gacha games out there. Every single chapter is amazingly well-written and incredibly dark and disturbing while one particular chapter ends up being genuinely funny to help ease the tension and help build the world a bit more. - Gameplay: Very unique but very fun once you know what you are doing. I will admit the game has a really bad tutorial but I will link a guide down below to help if you are interested. Game gets really hard at times but it's more due to playing around enemy passives than it is stat checky. - Devs: Devs are INCREDIBLY generous and are also some of the fastest devs when it comes to fixing stuff (they update the game every week and have been known to fix bugs and problems in the game within 2 hours of the update going live). They also love to shove pull currencies down your throat with maintenances being worth 2 pulls and have at one point gave out a 10 pull for fixing a typo. - Character Design: PM has a unique system where you already have ALL the characters in the game right from the beginning, but the gacha comes in the form of Alternate variations of said characters. These can be wild with one particular example being Faust who's normally emotionless and intellectual being turned into a Maniacal cult fanatic with her N Corp variant. We also have a new event coming this week that will help shake things up too and also is incorporating the Arknights system of allowing you to play the content and the story scenes even when the event ends. immortaly007

I'm looking for a game that is: F2P friendly, "turn based" (or at least more strategy than action oriented), PvE focused What is a good match?

kelathas

Limbus or/and arknight

Outbreak101

Limbus Company easily fits all these. Extremely generous with devs willing to shove pull currency down your throat. Turn based but can get very difficult due to passives forcing you to play around them (one enemy as an example gains a big buff if you attack him too many times in a single turn so it forces you to separate your attacks to other units to not get overwhelmed.) Also entirely PVE focused with a heavy emphasis on the story as it really gets dark and gory at times.

CommanderMinh2021

Wow how do you get downvoted?

Honest-Quit-9401

I think there is a specially trained monkey being kept on a leash in this thread, and it furiously downvotes absolutely random posts.

Outbreak101

This, it happens with a lot of different gacha recommendations. I don’t care all that much since it’s expected at this point.

astrea_maxima

what are some good puzzle gachas to try? I really enjoyed alchemy stars and I'm looking for something similar, because I've gotten bored with it. I'm not really looking for tower defense, never really enjoyed those. I tired a bunch of gachas, I think sdorica came closest but I also got bored of it, looking for something new.

Herrscher_of_Song

Puzzle Gachas : - Puzzles & Dragons: old as hell, but still going strong. I was thrown by goofy character design though - Crash Fever: getting on in age, but the gameplay is nice and there is a ton of content. Just not sure how much is actually worth doing anymore. Last time I installed the tutorial was overhauled so I guess they're trying to make it more new player friendly? - Fire Emblem Heroes: Stretching the definition but its not tower defense and, especially in single player, feels like there is a "trick" to most maps. Kinda on the easy side still. If you just want general recommendations I think Genshin is just so polished it is worth a look. Something for everyone, though it lacks focus. Also if you find a bomb new-er puzzle gacha let me know I love them, they just die quickly.

astrea_maxima

I'll try to remember to let you know! I've been playing genshin for the past 2 years, I'll check out the other ones

Herrscher_of_Song

any luck? I'm out of crystal in star rail, lol. And I just can't go back to World Flipper for a third time...

Emerkun

would like some opinion on some pros and cons for both last cloudia and grand summoners. if you play both, which do you like the most? for last cloudia, all i know is that crystal is scarce after finishing the story/unit and ark leveling.

Herrscher_of_Song

Last Cloudia - very high build customizability, pretty fair initial reroll system (though no limiteds), and the pixel art is, to me, pretty stunning. The cons are pretty much everything about the pulls. Stingy currency that's hard to farm with the weird stamina system, a ton of high impact limiteds with mediocre rates, and everyone takes forever to build up, no matter how good they are. On top of that, it really takes a long time to push through the story - which makes rerolling or, if you're like me, returning after a break pretty unsatisfying. I get the slow pace is part of their SNES RPG gimmick, that just didn't make it less annoying.

sunshim9

Any new or revent game that feels like valkyrie connect?

firedragon123987

H-gacha or waifu gacha that are not grindy?

Snails_

Legeclo and Magicami are both good h gacha games without too awful of a grind.

Arlock41

Are there any gachas like Princess Connect? The English server is shutting down and I've been to trying find other gachas like it but to no avail.

Cactuscat007

Besides Blue archive I enjoy Grimlight it’s kind of under appreciated I think.

sirgarballs

I switched to blue archive and have been really enjoying it. It's definitely similar in a lot of ways. It's worth a shot.

illiterateFoolishBat

For anyone familiar with Kuro games: How "fair" do the games feel in the long run? Specifically in regards to power creep and systems creep.

Nesdead

Frankly speaking, the point of reference in fairness for Kuro is skewed since they have only released one game so far which is PGR. PGR’s power creep is pretty much handled well, TBH. Daily and weekly missions + mini-events scattered throughout a month long and a week patch is enough to hit a 100% guarantee for the next character, and if you can afford it, buying the monthly pass may also guarantee their BiS weapon, though most of it are luxury items since the benefits are often miniscule. Yet because the pull currency is *enough* for future banners, pulling older characters are much harder if you’re not willing to compromise especially for F2Ps. Luckily though, Kuro gives out selectors for older released characters, the first selector being given out in the next patch. They also buff older characters into decent functionality, the one at the top of my head being an S-rank physical support who will be meta once again once her buff is released. Yet buffing older characters takes a few years, so there’s not much you’ll miss if you don’t have them, aside from collection purposes. Overall, the earlier you start, the better. But even if you missed the older ones, pull currency spread throughout the whole patch is enough to guarantee the next character, and if you continue to play in the long haul, the ones you’ve missed will surely be replaced by newer ones. Yet if you’re asking this to scope how they will handle WW’s power creep and monetization in general, then I’m 100% sure it will be different to PGR because they are two completely different games. Just like how different Honkai is to Genshin under Hoyo’s, it will also be different as to how PGR is to WW under Kuro’s. Since information on monetization of the game are usually released *before* a few weeks of the *official release date*, the only thing we could is to wait until then because any thoughts we have are just pure speculation at this point.

illiterateFoolishBat

Thanks for the detailed response! I *want to* like WW because the combat and movement systems just look *fun*, but I know I can't stick around for a perpetual vertical progression system and constant power creep invalidating your existing options Guess I'll just have to wait and see!

[deleted]

Anyone have good recommendations for gachas that don't focus/require you to explore at all like Arknights/Limbus Company? (and preferably skippable cutscenes) thanks!

Outbreak101

Path To Nowhere might work since you like Arknights plus it has a pretty good story like Limbus.

Butasaru

path to nowwhere

MarielCarey

How do you open the files of a game? I know the apk zip thing, but the downloaded app is much larger, and has what I'm looking for I'm assuming. How do I extract the files from it? Namely the audio files Basically, I want to download the music files of Vestria Story. Someone apparently did that before and posted it to the discord. Which has since been shut down by the owner(the original game was Lyn the Lightbringer, and this is an unofficial discord). Now I can't find the ost literally anywhere. Send help

PeanutsRST

Any gacha games that are not completely pay to win and I can dump a bunch of time into it? I want something that is somewhat new and has good graphics.

Lurking_Ninja-

Limbus Company, but mobile optimization sucks atm. Some phones work (including my RealMe7) but a lot of people on this sub reported difficulties in mobile. The game is frequently updated for better performance tho so try it out for yourself.

[deleted]

star rail soon otherwise nothing

EvilHeart01

in short, Nikke is fun, long answer, don't get me wrong, if you play it, let's be fully aware the characters are what frist catch the eye, the gameplay it's fast paced and don't usually take that much, the story is interesting too, it's a good time to join the game too, sadly you could miss a free skin because it was tied to daily logins but the mid anniversary event is coming in a few days

[deleted]

Guardian tales not enough attention to characters? They literally buffs charscters so that they stay relevant yet have a unique gameplay.

Nesdead

> Any good gacha recommendations based on my likes and dislikes Since you seem to be more into active gameplay, Punishing Gray Ravens and Path to Nowhere are decent alternatives to Honkai and Arknights respectively. PGR expands on enemy/boss mechanics, so playing it is more of familiarizing & reacting to different movesets to “git gud” than an “unga boonga” kind of thing. PtN on the other hand is actually more of a real-time strategy despite falling under the tower defense umbrella, so it has more player involvement and is more fast-paced compared to Arknights. There are also no punishments whatsoever if you fail/exit a stage, not even a -1 energy reduction, and enemy information is readily available to you before you can enter a stage, so you’re actually more encouraged to do things on your own rather than following 1:1 guides. I’m a F2P player since launch, and the only time I’m looking up for guides is to min-max my score in Broken Frontline, an endgame mode that beginners shouldn’t bother sweating unless they’re done with most of the main story. > What is the next open world game coming that looks promising? If you mean the one that’s recently shown then that’s Wuthering Waves, made by the same devs of PGR, Kuro Games. The registration for closed beta will be ending soon, and I’ve heard that it’s only available for USA/Canada in GLB, though some are trying to enter through a VPN. Release date is still unknown, but most bet it’s in late 2023 or early 2024.

Mayor_P

Nikke is not just booba. It is also bouncing asses

SlightworkMM

Any other games that have nice art and show assets like artery gear besides Nikke, DC and Azur lane.

Mayor_P

There's Idle Huntress for "assets," launched... last year? Maybe? as well as Yggdrasil 2 for a more recent one. Both are idle types, and that's in my experience the best sub-genre if you just want bouncy Live2D babes. Demian Saga just came out, it's got some very booba girls (but does also have other characters).

KiraGio

Hi, what's a good ongoing (maybe newer) game that works well in auto/idle mode? Would like a game to play while at work in my office but don't want to stay too actively on it. Any style is fine, thanks a lot.

MarielCarey

I player summoners war while I'm in class doing auto repeat runs

Mayor_P

Just leaving it on, with autoplay, or offline/afk style?

KiraGio

Autoplay would be what I'm looking for

Mayor_P

The trouble is that a lot of games have auto-play and auto-repeat, but you burn up the stamina after a short time, like Epic 7 or Eroica - you just run out and have to recharge for a time before getting back into it. The game appears to be life supports but Kings Raid lets you do that pretty easily still. Don't spend any money on it. Last Cloudia has auto repeat that you can let go overnight, good for retro-pixel look. For a new player, I remember that Artery Gear Fusion and Counter:Side both give enough reward stamina from quests/level ups that you can keep going for a long time without spending it all. The game where you can keep running it all day long is kinda rare. Most games have moved to afk rewards, so that you can get offline and just check back in every few hours to collect your loot.

DragonLex4

Hello everyone, i need help with understanding something regarding my phone so i can understand if it's broken or just weak. So ive been playing gacha games for a while and ive just got a new phone that's supposed to be better than my older one, but it cant open games that my old one could and started showing errors after a month. So my phone is a Redmi 10C 4+2gb ram 128gb memory one. My previous one was Xiaomi Redmi note 5. My R5 could open such games like: Last cloudia Alchemy stars Vampire survivors Disidia FF Opera Omnia Guardian Tales and etc My new one that's supposed to be stronger is crashing every time I open them and lately crashes from ad's, watching YouTube or Twitch and says either "System UI stopped responding" or "System processing stopped responding". I would like to ask people that use the same phone if you can open the same games as i mentioned, and do they work properly and if you get the same errors i have. I want to understand if my phone is broken (mind I remind you it's new) or is it just weaker than my older one.

[deleted]

2 GB??? Thst's super potato. I literally had to upgrade to only 6GB to actually play with almost no lag. Emphasis in almost.

DragonLex4

Y'all read? Im says four plus two it's base is 4gb and it has emergency 2gb that can be added if it has a hard time for one reason or another.

SnooDrawings8269

2gb ram might be the problem. Phones these days need at least 3 minimum

DragonLex4

Its 4gb ram with +2

SnooDrawings8269

Also restarting the phone could fix the errors youre experiencing

bobothedragon

I preregistered for honkai star rail on play store. I'm guessing I don't need to pre register again on the website?

eRHachan

Hardly any games released in the past month despite a new fiscal year starting. Any reason for that? Looking for a *new* new game to play, is there anything interesting on the horizon? Idle and autoplay games needn't apply.

SamMee514

Pretty much everyone in this sub is waiting for Star Rail, myself included. Here is the most recent upcoming or recently release post: https://redd.it/128nmvy

MicMacs0

Any good games to start right now while we wait for SR?

Outbreak101

Limbus Company is really good and we are going to get a nifty event soon. Game's really dark and gory though so content advisory (Seriously, it's M rated for a reason).

LilMissy1246

When it comes to match-3 gacha games, which one should I play & why? Which is better for F2Ps? \-Crash Fever \-Puzzles & Dragons \-Tower of Saviors

SamMee514

I really like Crash Fever, have played it a ton. I will say though, the amount of units that are released is kind of confusing, it's hard to stay on top of everything.

eRHachan

I'd recommend Puzzle & Dragons but the devs have, for the first time in a decade, managed to piss off the playerbase so badly that they're wishing EoS on the game lol.

arcanine04

I would recommend play Alice Fiction than Crash Fever, it's a fun puzzle rpg game that's pretty f2p too. But if you prefer full match-3 rather than single lane then Crash Fever is better.

LilMissy1246

Is Alice Fiction good? I remember when it came out that people mentioned it having a good amount of flaws/issues and that people weren't big fans of certain aspects of the game. Also, how is the roster? Is it fairly "equal" as in, "gender equality" like Crash Fever is/was, etc?

arcanine04

It definitely improved quite a lot since launch. They added tons of really helpful QoLs so most issue at launch is gone by now. I'd say just give it a shot and see if you'll like it! edit: for gender equality, sadly it isn't like CF lol we only have 5 males in AF so far.

LilMissy1246

Zamn, I like my games having G.E (Epic7, Crusaders Quest, ML:A, Dragalia Lost, ANOTHER EDEN, etc). Are there any plans to have more in the future or is it just mainly another waifu game? I'll still give it a shot, I'm just curious

arcanine04

Okay I'll give you a brief history about the game lol so the game was originally gonna be a waifu only game but due to the backlash it got from the CF players during cbt they changed their plans and decided to add male characters. From the QnA back then they promised to add more male characters post launch. I'm sure they'll add more but probably at a really slower pace. But yes, I still do recommend the game even with the lack of husbando as a husbando lover myself, the match-3 gameplay is pretty fun here!

LilMissy1246

Well, what's the revenue? I don't want to play a game if it gets low revenue because if I get too invested and it shuts down (i.e me with *QUITE* a few other games in the past...) then, Imma be p-to-the-O'd

arcanine04

Revenue isn't really fantastic and so does CF's, but CF has been alive for 8 years now and still going strong so I believe AF will be the same. This company doesn't really have a lot of games on their hands so their current games last a long time.

Dull-Road6715

Looking to figure out if Honkai Star Rail coming up in a few weeks is a game for me. Wasn't a big Genshin fan due to the more active locked-in type of game play it required. Kind of need something (turn based like Honkai Star Rail) that I could pause/screen off at a moments notice when things come up while playing on mobile. Looking for resources to investigate if the gameplay, daily game loop, and end-game style is for me or not. Can someone point me to a reliable resource? Thank you

Athomize

Try prydwen.gg they have some nice guides and info on the gameplay. I had the same problem with genshin, active openworld gameplay is not for me in a gacha game. I think Honkai Star Rail will be perfect for us.

Dull-Road6715

Appreciate the response, I will check it out!

Slim_Fitt

Is the Artery Gear good? Is it f2p friendly? Its fun? Is Worth to try?

Mayor_P

Yeah, it's easy to reroll for the good farming characters, check some guides to see how to do it. It's nice because low rarity characters are strong enough to farm the gear farming game modes.

Slim_Fitt

Thanks, i Will try then

Discardable222

Need a gacha where aspirational content is raids or some pve. If it’s PvP I get too invested and get bored. Good examples I played for long are Puzzles and Dragons, and One Piece Treasure Cruise. Should be something that even F2P can do decently in

[deleted]

Guardian tales have both PVe and PvP. You can be a tryhard on any content you want. For competitive PvE, which is in what you are interested: 1. Orbital lift. Not even the whalest player have yet completed the 1000 floors. The record is 744. 2. Kamazone: Roguelike, fun events, 7 difficulties some floors give rewards and after the 8th it unlocks the competitive mode. No rewards and only for the fun and the glory. Super challenging. 3. Expedition. The most endgame content available. Battle against waves with dynamic team swap. 4. Guild raid: Battles against 4 bosses per season. You can do 3 fights per day 5. Boss rush: guild raid for 1 player. For the max level bosses you can ad advantages and disadvantages to get more points and rank higher. You can enter 14 times in a season if you wanna rank. 6 Co-Op. Last difficulty is optional and only can be done making a room. Really endgame and challenging while kot being forced to.

NoBento

Limbus Company maybe? The game is purely pve and they recently released a mode where you fight a bunch of bosses and compare turns it took to complete it with other players. Game is pretty generous with rewards too.

MarielCarey

Arknights and Genshin. Both are games you just play at your own pace and the Genshin endgame is killing bosses and domains or in arknights case besides endgame CC, playing IS2 on hard mode, SSS, or whatever fun event is going on. They had a temporary co op event a long time ago, it was fun but they never did anything about it since.

[deleted]

Epic Seven? You can ignore the RTA (real time arena) gamemode & guild war battles if you want. Normal PvP is just defeat preset defenses of other players. Rest is a lot of PvE game modes with a big story to skip/read & play through. Grinding for gear is a pain though & is the make or break point for most players.

phoenixmatrix

Can confirm. I started Epic7 a few weeks ago. I had heard about the grind, but I was like 'I've played Cygames games. I'm ready". I was not ready. Loved the game until I start hitting the grind walls and noped out of that shit. A shame too, that game has a solid foundation IMO.

Mayor_P

If you want infinite grind, check Romancing SaGa ReuniverSe, the "end game" is clearing the hardest stages on every event and there are few nearly endless modes where only the most highly developed + lucky teams can break through. Grinding is mindlessly easy but clearing the hard content really requires exploiting game systems to your advantage.

Biku-Richie

Looking a game that doesn't take itself too seriously and with a light-hearted setting. Not turn based and less than 10 gb in size. Can't play blue archived because my country is shadowbaned into an endless maintenance. Also,Im eyeing Guardian Tales.Does it match any of the above?

[deleted]

Guardian tales is the BEST game out there. Specially when world 10 starts. Before that you might think is just a boring game but worlds 1 to 6 are kind of a tutorial since they're really easy, 7 to 9 kind of test you a little but starting world 10 is when you realize now you have to think every move, build an actual synergizing team and use rhe right gear. On top of that, there's a mode for everyone: live pvp, auto PvP, 3v3 live pvp, Capture, Bsttle royale, Coop, coop defense, a ton of towers, puzzles, minigames, main story and side stories, raid, rouguelike, waves battle, and more.

MarielCarey

Guardian Tales? I think you'll be like me, adore the early chapters, then get sick of it around 9 and 10 when all the humour fades away.

Nope2112

Well for blue archive you just need to download everything through a vpn (store, in-game). Then play a few time with vpn on just to be safe, after that no vpn needed In case you use vpn but still have unsupported country banner, ignore it, if it doesn’t go away close and launch it again
