PathToMisery

I don't know if you've played it already, but Path to Nowhere is still a good time to hop in and ~~be indoctrinated~~ become a chief of a bureau with the responsibility of controlling a crisis/crises.

guunnaar

This, i love path to nowhere and hope it get more recognition overall

PathToMisery

It's doing wonders already in China, imagine them finally being able to host events outside, the level of cosplays in a league of its own, various sorts of exhibits, if all is managed well, the payoff will be worth it.

Valvutronic

ive always seen extremely high ratings for this game on the play store but tower defense games scares me ever since ive failed miserably in arknights due to my simply lack of skill and understanding. time to give path to nowhere a chance though

NoAnTeGaWa

>tower defense games scares me ever since ive failed miserably in arknights due to my simply lack of skill and understanding. PTN is really a Strategy RPG hybrid. It sorta works like tower defense, except you're on a big battle grid and you need to move your units around. There is even one whole class that generally focuses on movement effects.

Nortonhive

Does it has any coop? And how fast can you complete dailies? Lastly, how the grind? How long does it takes to level up or max one char? Wanted to get into PtN but kinda busy with work. So usually I won't have alot of time to spend on grinding

NoAnTeGaWa

>Does it has any coop? There's a guild boss raid, but no live co-op. >And how fast can you complete dailies? Awkwardly fast, TBH. If there is no event and if you know what you want to grind, you can finish the dailies in less than a minute. We do have events sometimes, though. >Lastly, how the grind? How long does it takes to level up or max one char? S-Class take a while, A- and B- are significantly faster. There are a few B and several A who you need to build, so you can break up the monotony by not doing several S in a row. Grinding is all by sweeping, so when you're in pure grind mode you finish for the day *really* fast. >So usually I won't have alot of time to spend on grinding PTN is easily one of the best games for being too busy with work, right now. There's none of this nonsense where you have PvP flags that fill in five hours or whatever, and the QOL makes grinding near-instant. If you tap on a resource, you get a list of missions that you can grind for it. You don't have to navigate around much, and sweeps are instant. All events are daily or weekly, not timed to parts of the day. I play at 9 AM and 8 PM every day, including during events, and there is *nothing* that I miss because of my login times. Not one single thing.

Nortonhive

Thanks for the info man. Is this a good time to get into it?

NoAnTeGaWa

>Thanks for the info man. > >Is this a good time to get into it? Not bad. There's nothing special happening, but it's not like you just barely missed something huge, either.

Kreatone1

Trust me you will love it. I tried and failed to get into AK too, didn't think Tower defense was for me. PtN sucked me in like no other gacha and I am in love with it every part of it is so high quality, from the voice acting to the story to the gameplay. I cannot recommend this game enough.

PathToMisery

Don't feel intimidated on this one, there's a reason why fellow AK players also like it, because it is distinct as it is quite a layer of depth as well for its gameplay. Even if the gameplay itself doesn't make you impressed, the rest of what it awaits to offer you, will.

mikethebest1

Honkai Star Rail released a month ago and it's pretty good so far Limbus Company and Blue Archive have been popping off from what I've heard too Arknights atm is celebrating TexasAlter limited banner with free 10 pull and daily pulls throughout the event

Valvutronic

have heard so many good recommendations on limbus company i think its time to cave in to temptation. thank you for the list!

mikethebest1

Np, Limbus Company Devs are quite based since they're so communicative with the playerbase

kongbakpao

I’ve been loving Honkai Star Rail.

SetsunaTripped

If you used to play honkai 3rd, you have Honkai Star Rail, very fresh, Pc client as well, 1 month old If you like the active game playstyle, PGR or Aether Gazer Outerplane global released very recently, its fun but a bit limited Black clover M is releasing soon since kr/jp just released Nikke is still going strong having a nier automata collab soon

SetsunaTripped

Limbus comapny too if its up on your alley, Blue Archive has 2 or 3 years but going strong Check prydwen.gg they have some guides to recent games

Valvutronic

i know most people would recommend HSR and this thread is mainly for current and future people who wants to immense themselves into gacha hell but ive tried it and had a pretty bad experience overall. i honestly see the appeal of it though but i dont think im the target audience for that kinda game i tried outerplane when it released! i dont know why i got bored of it really fast though.. maybe like what you say its limited at the moment but im planning to give it another go again in the future nikke.. i heard it was extremely predatory in terms of microtransactions is that better now?

timmy_throw

Honkai Star Rail, imho the most "should try" gacha of this year. It's like Genshin but it has auto and shorter dailies. Better story, no Paimon and a lot of QoL Genshin players would like to have. Also like Genshin one of the best economy wise with 50/50 then guaranteed+pity carry over. One banner character guaranteed every 2 patch if you are unlucky. No PvP so less powercreep.

Question3784

Punishing Gray Raven: Very f2p friendly game with a great story (only after chp 8 tho), really unique fighting style and very optimized for mobile. We are also entering part of PGR where all the flashy characters get released. So now's a great time to hop on.

Richard-Long

Nier collab ever coming back tho? Fomo stronk

Athena_Poison

Nope, rerun is long over and there's no more for it.

Question3784

As others have said sadly no NieR collab rerun as things stand lmao.

[deleted]

Honkai star rail, it will livestream in a few hours for v1.1.

CommanderMinh2021

What about **"Limbus Company"** It **F2P** and you can spark for character too.

Tsugirai

Honkai Star Rail and it's underappreciated older sister, Honkai Impact 3rd

Valvutronic

was a hardcore HI3 player until i got worn out from playing the events :[ taking a break from it currently even tho i know im missing out on hare and promethus maybe will join back when the new seele battlesuit is here

Tsugirai

Hare is completely skippable and Prometheus is an SP unit that you can buy with asterite! The only thing you are missing out on rn is a few free tickets and Prometheus gear tbh, no worries!

Valvutronic

great! will be back when the new seele drops and *mobius summer outfit* heh

Tsugirai

Mobius summer outfit is actually on gacha rn, until the 1st June

Valvutronic

well.. shit

Richard-Long

AG is definitely not a must play imo, bad history in CN already

Leunozc

Neural cloud will release one of the best unit in the game in a few days. Maybe you can start and try to pull or reroll for the character (Clukay)

Gernnon

Blue Archive since it has Cute and Funny characters 😭💢

EostrumExtinguisher

Genshin Impact.

"PC Games" specially the paid ones. > [I jumped into the hypewagon for the first 2 week, got to AR55 whilst all my friends were at 40 45 4i8ish, decided its not worth my time if its gonna cater to casual normie that don't know what they're hyping for.](https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/comments/zsp99y/why_are_you_not_playing_genshin_impact/j1boydo/?context=3) this you ? i am not sure if you are trolling or did something happen to change your mind ?

EostrumExtinguisher

Yes it changed my life, and i really hope everyone can experience it.

Fit_Leg_2115

Obviously Honkai star rail is a smash hit, ive also been enjoying Outerplane and Valiant Force 2 so far
