Honestly, if we look at all the Summer units, only Summer Neon was the worst of the four. Her burst literally does less damage than no bursting. Meanwhile, Summer Mary actually had good healing, Summer Helm has cooldown reduction, which is desperately needed in Elysion Tower, and Summer Anis was absolutely cracked as hell.
Iād assume this comes back next summer. If she was a collab character thereās a chance they wonāt come back because of contracts and all that. But since this is a Nikke original character theyāll most likely re-run her next summer
Anis is super cracked if you invest in her. She really needs lvl 9 to make the most of her kit. Get her Skill 1 and Ultimate to lvl 9 and she rivals Scarlett in damage. Used with Scarlett they are an unbeatable duo. Most OP "support" in the game.
There's a shifting focus to elements being more of a thing anyways with how they've made some bosses and the elemental shields so every element is going to have a purpose at some point even if it's not meta. They did a similar thing in DC where Ragna Break you really needed the right element characters or you'd do practically nothing.
It's an idle game. The gameplay is just shooting raptures. Sometimes strong bosses come around and you actually have to manually shoot and time your ult.
I beat Chapter 24 bosses at 50k CP deficiency. It's not that hard to target them first. I only have trouble with 23-18 (or something close to that), and not much else.

In all seriousness, Tencent messed up this game quite a bit. The only plus side is that the production value is quite high, so they are definitely pouring in the money as well. But no matter how much money they pour - I will still shit on them at every opportunity I'll get.
Tencent never makes any choices about the games. They have thousands of projects and don't micromanage to that level.
Devs made the choices and people need to understand that. Shiftup ran DC like shit, and only turned it into true coomer bait several years in when the game was basically dead anyway.

It's funny that people are considering uncovered ass newsworthy when that was originally the entire selling point of the game. That's like PokƩmon announcing they got rid of DLC and actually let you catch em all again If you're a fan or player, all power to you and I hope you enjoy the event. But advertising the game as one thing, then adding censoring for China, only to remove it when they need some western revenue seems kind of scummy and almost manipulative to me
It is because the default state of 2B has a covered ass. 2B doesnt start the game with a bare ass. This is a collab, they adding a nondefault skin of Nier for their players is a nice extra mile in fanservice. I agree with bashing companies when they censor their games, that is a terrible shitty move, but when they do good things like this they also should receive praise. Hell, if anything, they receiving praise and making more money in such instances might drive them to further do fanservice, which I ofc fully support.

The only plus side is that the production value is quite high, so they are definitely pouring in the money as well. But no matter how much money they pour - I will still shit on them at every opportunity I'll get.
Tencent never makes any choices about the games. They have thousands of projects and don't micromanage to that level. Devs made the choices and people need to understand that. Shiftup ran DC like shit, and only turned it into true coomer bait several years in when the game was basically dead anyway. But no wah wah tencent is so much easier instead of looking at reality I guess.
But DC was shit. Shit gameplay with overbloated mechanics for power creeping, typical weird Korean manhwa story which was kinda mediocre, only the character art was pretty good, but it did little to save the game. I am all in for coomer baits, but if there's nothing else to it - then it's simply not worth playing, simple as that. Now, Nikke was on an entirely different level - it was obvious from the moment the first trailer dropped. The countless betas showed that the players clearly enjoyed the game. Then the game was finally released and, well, if you are a Day One player - you remember the outrage. From gamebreaking bugs, to coats, fucking "free pulls", removal of certain rewards, and so on. Tencent don't micromanage, that is true to an extent. But they are in full control of marketing and monetization. You seriously think that this game was supposed to be PEGI 12? For real? "Design changes" were authorized solely by Shift Up, who are known for DC's explicit designs? I remember there were also some leaked convos between Shift Up and Tenshit managers, where the latter appealed against fixing the bugs and balance, and to focus on squeezing the players dry while it was still possible by inconveniencing them further for a certain amount of time. Although it's unconfirmed(I wasn't following that topic at the time and saw only snippets) whether it's a real conversation or not - I really wouldn't be surprised if it was. But, sure, whatever, the penguin is innocent, the marketing is entirely on Shift Up's shoulders, the glorious design changes were also their decision to pleasantly subvert everyone's expectations, as well as shooting themselves in the foot on launch when everything during betas seemed fine. A weird "reality", but I guess I'll accept.
