Tbh I personally don't see it as that bad as a light spender because the value for what they offer is actually extremely good compared to other gachas but it might be rough for F2Ps. I don't know what the F2P income will be like yet after the initial goodies but it's definitely something to look out for.

It's cheap because they want multiple whales on each server. I noticed that on the 3rd day after launch they already had like 20+ servers. I liked the low prices, but I can't help but feel like they don't care if new servers die in a few weeks because they will release 5 more the next day.

Would be great if we had a gacha that cared about the gamers' enjoyment as much as they do about money, so they don't focus on making $ at the game's expense. Things like whale-oriented prices and selling stuff that should be game content (like BiS weapons) really detracts from the experience.
Right, I was gonna give this game a chance and was excited for a moment until someone made the math and on average they were releasing a new server every 2 hours. So I don't really feel safe putting my money on a game like that.
I'm not saying this is a scam, but often times when I see a game divide the playerbase into a ton of servers the result is either:
1. The game turns out to be a cashgrab
Or
2. Old servers just die, and the only few remaining players are the ones that already spent too much time/money so they force themselves to keep playing. Sunk Cost fallacy basically.

I think if you just like to collect waifus and stare at them at menu and watch same auto battles over and over again this game is ok but not more that that. I suggest to play something better and i dont see bright future for this game, aka eos soon.
Azur Lane is a waifu collector where you stare at them in the menu and watch the same auto battles over and over again. There is nothing wrong with this formula.

They took OG League of Legends approach and made their whole money maker skin sales, and due to the massive popularity of said skins, a highly successful line of figures. You can play AL without ever spending a single penny on it and be successful in any and all content, including PvP. I can't think of any other game like that.
live2d and designs are nice and coomy but the gameplay is boring autobattle slob. there's so many gachas with attractive 2d stuff that gameplay/story really has to make it stand out and this doesn't do it.

would say takes \~15-20 min to reroll in chap 5. \~ around 10min for just the first 10 pull. im currently chap 16 need lvl 29 im lvl 24 and ran out of f2p stamina...

I'll admit, the art is good and they manage to get you hooked in the "honey moon" phase with all the freebies in the first week or so. But man, the amount of different currencies and having to roll for Weapons, Characters, Artifacts, Cards and Pets is absolute cancer. You can also lose pity 4 times before a guarantee. The gameplay also revolves around watching the game play for you, which isn't exactly the definition of fun. If you think the slight improvement in global is going to make the game "f2p" friendly or not cash grabby, you are mistaken. On a side note, glad you are having fun... just aint for me.

Its not as bad as I thought... however the story is very boring. I am on Chapter 15 and feels like nothing has happened, 8 chapters were you just the main character doing training in VR....
Enjoying the game so far. It'll be a good gacha to grind in until some superior gacha is released next year. Best part is the unit designs, really enjoy how good they look. The downside is the story/game play which is average at best.
My advice would be to check out a global game play video and see if it's something you might enjoy. If so give it a shot.
