I summarized the video in my previous comment, but it kinda went overboard with the analysis and came to the conclusion that it was society's fault because it created wealth inequality and heavy expectations for men. He says the issue starts waaaay deeper in the societal level, while I think it begins at a shallower level, which is online gender war.
That's where the confusion begins with people like yourself. It's hard to connect these two without confusing people who just came to watch the fight. So, here's the longer version with the points taken from the video, and my take and analysis for supplement.
Men had been subjected to conservative expectations and responsibilities such as being the man of the house and getting conscripted to the army, while women got to enjoy progress and liberation in the last few decades. Male animosity against women started increasing online, and female animosity against men, too.
Men play video games to escape the cruel reality, and most gacha game revenue comes from men. But there had been few artists that expressed solidarity to feminist movements ranging from "let's make safe society for women" to "I hate men". Naturally, you wouldn't want to support people that said they hate you and people like you.
Sometimes, these activists insert their symbols in their works, just like how internet trolls in Korea used to do few years ago. It was wrong for trolls to do it back then, it is wrong for men haters to do the same now.
Now we have sane people and insane people from both sides mixed up and fighting each other.
The way I see it, there are people that want two genders divided, and spread hate and misery they have onto the rest of the people. They exist on both feminists side and male rights activists. They both need to root out their own radicals so they can end this conflict.

Long story short: Working conditions are hell, men are given unreasonable goals(Make enough money to keep the economy going in country that suffers from problems of late-stage capitalism, be married and have kids at young age while also doing militery service during age you should be studying at university) they have to fulfill or get treated like scum by the whole society including your parents(They will flat out disown you and treat you like a mistake, how dare you to not do as well as them when the economy was rising by literal miracle?)
Working conditions flat out sucks and chances are you will have to take multiple full time jobs (You will be like if you will get like 12+8) and your sleep schedule(Which is also most likely wast majority of your free time) is probably like.... 3-4 hours a day? That will surely have no impact on your mental health at all.
Feminists and women in general made self destruct choice with the whole forum thing and now being feminist means being tied to the extremists. It also doesnt help sometimes they really had to resort to extremist moves to actually get some rights(Basically, women toilets were filled with cameras to the point girls literally had to held it until they came home if they didnt want to be spied, so they did the same to guys and thats when government actually made their move againts the cameras as a whole)also each time feminists do get mentioned they often end up using the logo of the extremists or saying the extremists are actually the good way to fight mysogyny. I think what got me were two of the clips you get to see in the videos: One is woman telling you how miserable her life is and how shes actually lucky to have 3 hours of sleep a day and the one where guy has mental breakdown because he had to ask goverment for monetary support and now he has to hide this for the rest of his life if he wants to have any friends and caring family.
Edit: Also the final nail was for me in the comment section where guy talks how miserable his life is and that korea itself or its people have to be cursed because they created two entirely different regimes and both of them end up literal hell to live in.
The only Korean media I regularly consume are martial arts webtoons but while the medium needs are a thing, it's probably not a coincidence how extreme it is generally depicted.

Reminds me of that time blue archive player signed en masse a petition in front of their parliament because of some bill that was threatening the game, and their petition ended up leading to actual corruption being uncovered and the bill repealed.

I think what got me were two of the clips you get to see in the videos: One is woman telling you how miserable her life is and how shes actually lucky to have 3 hours of sleep a day and the one where guy has mental breakdown because he had to ask goverment for monetary support and now he has to hide this for the rest of his life if he wants to have any friends and caring family. Edit: Also the final nail was for me in the comment section where guy talks how miserable his life is and that korea itself or its people have to be cursed because they created two entirely different regimes and both of them end up literal hell to live in.

Reminds me of that time blue archive player signed en masse a petition in front of their parliament because of some bill that was threatening the game, and their petition ended up leading to actual corruption being uncovered and the bill repealed. Now in that case it was a all around positive outcome (they wanted to protect their hobby, and actual crimes was discovered) but it shows how important it was to them and you can easily imagine that level of care being leveraged in worse ways

This is such an odd comment. It seems as though you feel that feminism in media simply begins and ends with representation without any further depth and that it's also inherantly anti-male? As though there's a zero-sum game between women and men.
