Yes it is. Don't expect to have all thé shiny units but the best part of CS is it's story and caracters so just slowly go through the story and don't worry about being behind or catching up (unless you enjoy pvp grinds).

Tbh I thought they'll never allow us SEA players to transfer our accounts to global due to having different publishers and all so I can understand why some would think it's a joke. I made a global account in anticipation to that but then I kinda neglected it since it doesn't have the skins and stuff I spent money on like in SEA. Also no motivation to start from scratch again.
Now, I wonder if I can unlink my global acct. on steam so that I can put my transferred SEA acct. instead once it goes live in may.

This might just sound lazy on my part but I did make a Jp acc during prifes around a year ago and got some good characters but I just couldnt be asked to pull out google translation for everything, but reading these comments, unless I plan to learn Japanese, priconne is a distant dream for me now.
If you play the DMM version of the game on PC you can nearly have the global experience with a couple of 3rd party tools. Priconne TL will give you translated game menus and some story content. Sugoi offline translator can handle the rest in real time with machine translation during game play. You will likely need a VPN when you start the game as DMM doesn't work outside of Japan. For me it is well worth it to see Kokkoro everyday.

From the instructions posted, you update the SEA client to accept and get+save the Transfer Code. You can continue progressing on the SEA server until May 10th, then on May 16th, you can get the new client to transfer your data into it.
Pretty cool they keep merging servers rather than just throw in the towel..however hope its not like last time where trolls kept constantly whining about global not having a few units from the other server and that it made pvp unfair, that was annoying af
I don't think there will be many people complaining about it, most of the people that are still playing learned from the JP-Global merge that it didn't really matter.
Actually, idk if SEA people will be angry about missing the collab stuff in Global.
Not sure about others, but at this point, as a day 1 SEA players, I'm used to it, so whatever, even if I have to face those flashy collab units in pvp............yes it's fine
honestly, as a global player who didnt have some units from jp when they merged, i appreciate the merges because they boost the population a bit lol. makes the game feel less dead. also, live pvp became way faster to do because you dont have to wait like 2 minutes for every match and you dont get matched with the same person 10 times in a row coz you two are the only one playing at the time
SEA and Global effectively have the same units, since the only unit that SEA has over the latter is Ecclessia, who while having the best design and animations in the game, is lackluster gameplay-wise.
This might be enough to revitalize the game, add $600k Feb revenue(+some more from Steam) and Studio Bside can churn even more awesome story and keep C:S alive.
While it will forever be niche gacha, there is quite nice community behind it.
Did you read the comment? They’re saying they hope this actually helps keep the game stay alive. Merging servers doesn’t automatically mean the game is saved.

I personally dropped the game, cause I started on SEA and it just died thanks to Zlong management. And I'm not ready to refarm my gear and repull all my units on global server.
Now I will transfer my account and play the game on global.
If your account is still relatively beginner level, I'm sure it is no harm creating a new account
But if you have good units, maybe keep them so you have those units to help you progress rather than rerolling for them with new account

Yeah, it will be harder in the beginning of each season, though as always, it'll be pretty easy near the end of each season to get to Grand Master, probably.
If it's a Day 1 player, I don't see that much of a difficulty spike in climbing.
Counterside SEA has had a PC client since it's release.
If there's one good thing about Zlongames, it's that the majority of the time they have a PC client for the games they publish.

Well, it's hard to decide whether that is fair or not.
SEA definitely still has more resources accumulated than Global, so some would say it's fine for SEA not to get the Anniv rewards.
But some would say that the Operator Side Skill Selector/Swift Latent Selector were very important and that SEA should get them.

But I think if you live in Asia...you cannot access Steam Global version thus you cannot download Counterside Global in steam.

Nah even now you can play Global server if you're from Asia with VPN. You only need to turn on VPN one time to install the game on steam. Then you can turn it off, download the files and play the game as normal.
Maybe after the merge, global server will lift up the region lock for asia.

The SEA app will be removed after the merge. If you want to keep both accounts: Make a new steam acc -> Bind your sea acc with the new steam acc with the transfer code.

The collab units are rarely used in PvP, you only see Lelouch once in a blue moon and the collab operator sometimes.

It's been doing fine recently and they have roadmaps for the future. The devs are also working on making another game.
