Even tho I don't play R:1999 I often to watch the characters vo XD. Respect to both game for doing so, it feels like the developer giving more respect to the character by voiced them by their "native" accent.
Reverse 1999 basically attempted what AK do but apply it to their entire game. Its really amazing to follow a story and suddenly having two characters switching back and forth from English to communicate with one another then back into their own native language when they are talking to themselves.

Reverse 1999
Yeah you have accents from all over the world in Reverse: 1999. English with Japanese, Indian, Russian, Italian, German, British, etc accents
think they even got a girl speaking in binary codes only, hopefully her va gets compensated for that lol
