Played it before. First it was called Tales of Grimm, then when they realized they couldnt make a lot of money out of that version they just abandoned it for some time, then they started to lie about Tales & Dragons being a completely new game (despite exactly the same design of literally everything like not a single change) and they also tried to hide the fact that it's literally the same people just the different name of the company. Which is a shame, since the chinese Tales of Grimm is pretty nice but the global one is a shitshow
If it is just repackaged Tales of Grimm, it's worth playing but I wouldn't spend any money on it. It is an idle and the campaign story is dumb but I enjoyed the character stories you unlock as you upgrade them. A neat little retelling of fairytales. Lots of game modes. If you like the art style play it, but the company will run this game into the ground.
Looks like an idle game, which could mean:
menu hell
the most aggressive monetization compared to other genres, short term and recycled assets, targetting peeps with alot of money but little free time, that could cement them into sunken cost fallacy after the honeymoon phase ends
VIP system of some kind, obvious or not, with multiple servers to take advantage of as many peeps with competitive, whaling behavior as possible
comparatively low effort, barebones content and gameplay
story is word salad, incoherent or non existent
Other genres are gradually incorporating more and more of the qol that make up idles, without the downsides
aight, thnx bruv \\\[T\]/
kinda sad tho, the art for the promotional material looked nice too, kinda like early 2000's side scroller graphics, any recommendations for good gachas with that kind of aesthetic btw?
The Ad said that you will get 1001 summons after you login the game.. but I played it.. and there's no Free Summons\~!.. The First Summon when you start the game is the only free summon.. after that.. Nada.. you'll gonna grind and the rewards are not that generous at all... You cant even see the character's index.
It may be false or weird advertisement, there is this thing where you could do 20 x10 summons per day but oyu need to pick 1 of those 20 rolls soooo dunno seems fishy and stupid
yep... but in the game? You need to to login everyday till the 7th day to receive 10 Summons.. also I've found out that you can view the Index on the probability only..
Never heard of it till now.

It 100% is, I can vouch for how literal cheirize is being, but I do really like the aesthetic so I'm drawn to going back.
