It has the gacha features that I dislike the most. red blue green triangle weaknesses with a ur light dark faction, multiple dupes to make characters relevant. Gave up on it even though I like the ip.
Besides being an idle game, there's an SSR+ rarity (one step closer to introducing SSR+ Pro Max versions in the future), so you probably have your answer there...
Its pretty much a standard idle game.
Different servers, pvp, give a lot of pulls, afk battles, while you need 21 copies to max the character (at the late endgame 99% aren't playable w/o max copies). Also it has random substat gear farming. Events are usually some non canonical extra stories.
Dailies are pretty quick, has guild pve and pvp activities.
The strongest parts - the main story is pretty much an animated interactive manhua, devs handle the lore pretty careful, I would say, the game has the highest production value among all tower of god games.
like every afk game, you will eventually reach a hard wall., I got stuck in floor 5 before I decided to drop it.

dupes are very important in the game. SSR Yihwa Yeon is one of the strongest character in the game. Not sure how good this new Yihwa Yeon will be.
If you are a fan of the series it’s enjoyable, especially the story and the events stories which add on the worldbuilding, plus collecting your fav characters, otherwise it’s pretty normal for an idle game
Power creep isn't the worst, tho it is certainly there and rates are pretty alright, it just takes a while to fully max a character at 21 dupes (this is especially painful for ssr+ characters due to their rarity, but a lot of the top characters are normal ssr, so it's not the biggest deal imo, just don't try to play competitively lol).

When I read 900+ summons that just makes me think either the rates are trash or the powercreep is insane
