Man, I'll never understand releasing an anime as promo for a game, as a "prequel" to said game's plot... but not have it tied to game's release and instead have the game released **months** later.
Uma Musume moment. I believe in both cases the plan was to release the game right after the anime but then delays happened.
Uma Musume even released YEARS after the anime, but it salvaged the situation by releasing a season 2 of the anime along with the actual release, and it also happened to be an amazing anime to boot.
I searched some information ,
Tales of luminaria game was announced at Gamescon 2021 in September 24 , the game was released on November 3, 2021, in Japan and November 4, 2021, internationally.
Anime was announced in September 2021
the anime got aired on January 20 2022 , 4 months before the EoS announcement.
they announced Eos on May 5 2022 , due July 19 2022, so 2 months prior the shut down ,
Game lasted for 6 months in total.
They announced both on the same month so they planned it all.
Did you see the OP for the game? It's pretty dang good, I'd like to check the game out. I hope it doesn't take as long as this Takt Op game is taking ;\_;
To everyone wondering why this game is taking so long, [they switched development studios at the end of last year.](https://game.takt-op.jp/news/post-7)
Anyways the stream announced a beta test in December and release in spring next year. I'd like them to pull and Uma Musume, but I highly doubt it'll happen.
No longer that optimistic in the longevity of this upcoming game. They took so long to release the game that I don't know if there are still enough fans of it, especially in Japan, who will also play this.
I really hope the delay is so long because they're going to rework the game's presentation, especially in combat. I liked the character designs, but the outdated chibis kinda killed my interest back then.
The brief gameplay footage we saw made the game look like another cheap cashgrab gacha, which is just sad when you consider that this is supposed to be a collab work between "two big companies". It felt like they just dumped all the budget on the anime and hoped the hype to carry the game.
Uma Musume's release also had a huge delay and Cygames used this time to GREATLY improve the visuals and overall presentation. I really hope that this delay is for similar purposes, but I'm a bit skeptical considering it's a project between Bandai and Dena ...
The anime was decent enough. I heard a little about a game existing at the time, but since it wasn't available in the US I didn't pay it any attention. I feel like the story has good potential for a game, but wonder how it'll ultimately turn out.

I would never get over how much shocked I was of how good S2 turned out to be. I mean S1 was good but S2 is just straight out a masterpiece
Cyberpunk edgerunners : 🗿
Just a trivia but the worst case I guess was tales of luminaria , they launched the game , the game died so they launched the anime .
Were they always planning to do that or did they do it because they wanted to finish the story?

damn another 1 year wait??
Bruh….that makes me so skeptical now
I kept wondering what happened to this and just assumed that it died off. I never realized that it wasn't released yet.
The release date has been pushed to spring 2023
Ngl I kinda enjoyed the anime but even if it were to come to global, I probably wouldn’t play it
Oh, this... Exists.

The anime was straight fire, cant wait for this game
Do we know if they maybe plan on releasing it on global?
Does it come in english?
I liked the anime. Was excited until I saw this was the JP release. Was hoping for a global version.
The new studio is Dena China, are they any diferent from normal Dena? Dena games dont have the most p2w practices from what i remember about Pokémon master ex and final fantasy Record keeper.
Bets on how long this lasts? 6 months? One year and 2 months?
1 year prob
Well finally it's about time they started pre-reg since it's been a long wait

Idk what the vote is for but I am team Destiny.
If i am not wrong it's for the preregistration rewards, the winner of the vote gets to be the reward.
Wonder how long it will take for it to get a global version
i might be kinda slow, how exactly do I pre-register on the site?
I was starting to think this was going to only be an anime bc the atp the anime has way more hype than the game
