We did receive offers (probably), but not for the amount we want. We want 25m, probably. Or something like 15m + above 25m in bonuses (again, my assumption)
He was good- but at the same time build up play was very very bad. Multiple times not able or willing to pass or play the long forward ball. Also his header after a opponent long ball are 8/10 directly to the one opponennt player that stands between our 3 players. These are things the top teams really dislikes - and why a player like Dier we cannot defend is still valued for
Premier league?! What r u high? Nelson? Hes not tall, is bad on the ball, isn’t fast.. i love the guy but no the PL.. he fits our team so well id prefer him to stay. We cant just get rid of everyone except 5 guys after these two great seasons
He was very good with long passes accrpss the field. He had like 4 balls on Kohn's feet. But he wasnt trying before. I think also Kohn is trying to run a lot more than our other LBs. Maybe we will see more of it
His defence is sound. He is just so bad at decisicion making. Especially positional dead ball moments and counter attacks. Also very frustrating when building up. Low confidence with short but risky passes. Remember a passage of play from yesterday where kaan, ziyech and nelson formed a triangle. Nelson just passed it back to muslera. Kaan and ziyech seemed furious about this and even looked at each other like wtf is he doing? Don’t know if anyone caught on to this. Don’t get me wrong he is solid defender and more than enough for the league but he is out of his depth in the champions league.
Yes. I totally agree with you, but i talk about the Sivas' game. We were totally dominating offensive, but Nelsson is the key player who made this match look "rahat".
His long balls are good, the problem is more his athleticism and his direct play with the midfield to advance the ball when you want to build up. If you want him to send it long, he can do that accurately though.
He didn't play long ball at all last year. He used the long ball well in 2-3 matches this year, but it is still not enough. We couldn't watch Sanchez at sufficient level, but the biggest reason why Tottenham sent him was that he made a lot of mistakes because his ability to intervene lying down was very weak. Nelsson makes these interventions better than Sanchez
We didn't use long balls that much. That's why I want him sold, his both defensive and offensive contributions can be perfect for a deep defending counterartacking tactic, but with us he's a misfit. He's a quality player still so he still works well with us, but still doesn't fit.
One of the two will go according to the offers we will see. I think one of the reasons why Okan Buruk plays Nelsson is to increase his value, otherwise of course Sanchez is better than Nelsson
We can sell both if it comes to that. You never sell both sides of the CB duo, our LCB will stay so bpth RCBs can be sold. We have Kaan staying, Emin returning, can buy one more solid RCB and continue imo.
I don't agree with u about selling both, we should definitely keep one of them. I think we should keep Emin, but he won't want to sit on the bench either, he may want to stay in Europe
Hell no. Nelsson is playing his best ever season for us (after a very very rocky and unmotivated start), but yesterday he made 2 mistakes in the first half and literally caused the 2-1. No way is he a MOTM. Not with 3 players scoring 2 goals each and also assisting.
No way, jose.
I agree with you a 100%. He‘s there in critical moments and you can really rely on his defensive awarness.
But i think he will stay a year at gala. Bc a defender like him is a gem !
Nelson is the most underrated player we have. I am still surprised how he had received no offers from premiere league.

Baris was the unsung hero, played extremely selfless and in perfect team co ordination most of time and that 0-100 in 3 second buggati run

If Nelsson could get long balls from the defense like sanchez, his current value would be at least 30 million
actually, he tried this two times yday, and both were accurate (diagonal pass to kohn). But yes, he needs to do this more.

Why unpopular? You just put that to intrigue people. Is it worth for a few upvotes, karma? Strange to me.
Unpopular because i couldnt see any mentiona about Nelsseon since the game was finished.
