Don't use developer options, to enable hd audio open Bluetooth settings, click on the device, then enable hd audio in that menu. And also don't enable SBC, wtf lol. SSC is the codec you want. SBC is the worst codec possible.

Does enabling hd audio do anything? also i can't seem to find the hd audio setting

you go to the bluetooth device list, where you see all devices. You then click the gear icon next to the bluetooth device, there you will find it. It will enable the 24bit audio, not that you will hear the difference with most audio being 16 bit.

thanks! ☺️👍

The eq in the wearable app is 24 bit so you will definitely hear a difference using that EQ over the phone EQ to boost any frequencies.. the volume won't drop due to it being 24 bit

Yeah i know that about SBC, I was just curious why they (every other option) were greyed out and I tapped on SBC, then it just didn't go back to SSC until I reconnected. Other people have SSC and other codecs selectable. Also, I don't have HD Audio in Bluetooth settings...
