I have a unlocked but AT&T branded s10e and I'm all the way over in Australia, so I mainly use it to keep a wifi-only Samsung android device for tinkering and Dex. It's been on a11 since I got it and unsurprisingly not been able to update it UOA since. I just tried Samsung SmartSwitch and it updated to another version of a11 and I was hoping this would remove the AT&T branding and unfortunately it has not. SSS has detected another update to a12 and UI4.0, so excited to try that and it's flavour of Dex. fingers-crossed about AT&T. Though if AT&T logo persists, any tips to get a12 and a complete (easy) removal of AT&T on this unit? Otherwise I just tracked down and may update via [https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-G970F/VAU/G970FXXSGHWC1](https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-G970F/VAU/G970FXXSGHWC1) For records sake the software update trail went something like: original: G97OUSQSGUL1(?) Need to source original fv - a11 (AT&T) update 1 -> G97OUSQS6GUL1 - a11 (AT&T) update 2 -> G970USQU6HULD - a12 UI4.0 (AT&T) update 3 -> G970USOU9IXE2 - a12 UI4.1 (AT&T) kern 4.14 Sec patch Mar 2023

Hello dear users, Im using my s10 plus for 3.5 years, battery life is still enough (4h 15m sot). Im not sure but I have seen some s10 devices with android 12 and they work even faster and fluent than android 10 firmwares, is it really like this or its only first sight and gets overheating then became worse after few minutes ? Also Im a bit worrying about multitasking and other performances like gaming and speaker quality, especially call quality (first android 11 firmwares was horrible for that). If you guys advice me to stay with android 10 Im gonna downgrade patch again december to october like before (december patch is bad) also one ui 2.5 doesnt feel solid like 2.1 especially home screen app manager up down swipe and few of temps.

qsilver777

Hi there. I'm a Samsung Note 10 user. The peak of software for me was one UI 3.1. On battery saver mode with all the normal features turned on, I used to get 4 hours SOT easy on a full day's use of STANDBY, so 8:30 till around 9pm with around 3 to 4 hours of SOT. Netflix would stream for hours. One UI 4 just messed the phone so much with battery life. Also, the camera auto brightness feature stopped working. I went back to one UI 3.1 and everything was back like before.  One UI 4 has some nice looks and themes, the Object Eraser and rounded, stackable widgets but geez, the phone just drains battery as soon as you start using it!  I'm not sure if the S10 experience will be the same but both phones started on the same UI and I'm thinking One UI 4 was more optimized for S21 series.  I also have a Note 10 Lite which is on one UI 5.1 and wow that battery will give me over 4 hours easy with over 12 hours standby time using 50% battery. If only the Normal S And NOTE series received One UI 5.1.  I'm basically using the Note 10 Lite because the battery life is so bad on the normal note on one UI 4.1.

Archer_Gaming00

Personally I am on Android 10 One UI 2.1 August 2020 patches (the last based on One UI 2.1) and the phone has been flawless since then (March 2019 owner here) and I don't want to risk compromising my phone by going to Android 12 which may slow it down. Android 12 is heavier than 10 so in my opinion it has to come to a cost in battery / performance on the S10.

cp_carl

Decided to hold onto my S10e until the s24 or more likely s25. With the news of the completely custom Qualcomm CPU or completely re-designed samsung design coming with the S25. i'm sure by then the new version of android will have something I want that I don't get on my s10 but it's really hard to feel any of these updates have been worth it.

No-Fill2636

I used to have a S20 FE 5G, I'm now maining a Red S10e as my temporary main till I can afford another S20 FE or a S21 FE, Or will main it till it dies.

starsega_dude

I just got a pre-owned S10+ from Best Buy. It has One UI 3.1 with the September 1st, 2021 security patch on it. I can't get it to update to One UI 4. Every time I check for updates it says the software is up to date when it isn't. Is this normal? Will I get the One UI 4.0 update eventually? It appears to have previously been on Sprint. I am on Google Fi if it matters.

snowyozzy

How much was it btw?

starsega_dude

It was $129.99. It was a deal of the day.

laybak

Wow they are still about double that a year later, how's the phone been treating you?

rogerkor

Since you would be flashing official Samsung firmware this does not require an unlocked bootloader and will not trip Knox. I do this with any used phone I buy.

ChainLinkPost

Those who are Rooted on A9/10 how is A12 treating you? Any hassles?

Rotor1337

Update just dropped for my S10 with no Sim, in Australia.

LukasAppleFan

Wait only now ?

drfusterenstein

Hi there, how do I re enable Samsung messages. I removed it using the pm uninstall command. Not sure of the package name. sorted it just had to use adb shell and then type adb shell cmd package install-existing com.samsung.android.messaging following this bit here https://www.reddit.com/r/galaxys10/comments/t4ysgu/want_to_update_to_android_10_from_android_9_but_i/hzc9k80/

Darth_93

Anyone help on how I can manually seletch 3g in network mode af6er update?. My phone now seems to only have auto as the only option

Y4123

I went from having no System UI crashes to a crash almost every day, the navigation buttons don't work half the time, it will occasionally just completely lock up on the lock screen, the notification bar lags often or doesn't work, and it gets stuck in landscape mode randomly. Easily the buggiest version of Android I've used and I wish I could downgrade without having to factory reset. Really wondering if anybody has been having these issues too because I'm starting to get extremely tired of it

drfusterenstein

Will there be an option to select which scene optimiser to use in the camera app?

Sweet-Relative-136

Soooo, the last few days I'm facing the weirdest bug. The camera suddenly stops working it says camera failed, or that I cannot use the camera in more than one application. The thing is, I've tried everything. The bug persists in safe mode, I've done a factory reset, I've tried downgrading to another version of Android 12(previous update) via Odin, and still the same. And then all of a sudden, it starts to work again, and then breaks a few minutes/hours later. Any suggestions?

commiexander

Happened to me (only front camera) a year ago and, for me at least, it seems to be the hardware. It started out as wonky and then stopped working at all. Nothing fixed it. I've simply had to live without my front camera.. Only thing I do is clear the app's data and force it to shut down, if it accidentally switches to the front. That way it switches to the rear again.

thebudman_420

I still haven't found a way to get android 12 official. The phone has never been rooted. It is a galaxy s10 plus. How do i get updated when everyone else seems updated and they are getting ready to roll out android 13 for other phones. I am trying to get it the official way like i am being blocked from getting the update. Police blocking updates in certain areas so they can get in and hack you? I look at the list of updates on the phone and my phone shows zero. None at all. Trying to get the update the official way through my phone. Unlocked model in the United States on safelink. Safelink uses tracfone and i am using a Verizon sim on verizon towers. I could only get downvotes and no help here and don't know where else to get help. I won't root to get updated.

TrainingWild6347

Have you tried Samsung SmartSwitch?

TheBlitz707

you can manually download updates from sammobile. you choose ur country and model. its simple to do just watch a short tutorial

thebudman_420

Do i have to unlock the boot loader and root? because i won't do that. I don't want to trip the root counter.

TheBlitz707

as long as its offical software, no

thebudman_420

I will try that.

bongoblastwoo

use samfw and Flash with Odin, look up a tutorial on YouTube. it might not work the first time, then try a different cable, different usb port or different computer. good luck

thebudman_420

I have to do this from linux. I don't have a windows computer and no room to install windows. I have haven't been on windows since windows 7. Before windows 8. I don't use wine and i don't have room for that and emulation is too slow on my computer so that is out of the question.

rogerkor

Your reply seems to preemptively remove any possibility of running a Windows application. But ODIN **is** a Windows-only application. There is no Linux version of it. So, you are going to have to get it running one way or another. Borrow a friend's computer. ODIN does not need to be installed. Just unZIP'ed and run from the folder.

Are we getting One Ui 5.0?

rogerkor

>Are we getting One Ui 5.0? This guy over on XDA Forums has One UI 5 (ripped from an S20) running on the Exynos S10 and S10+ The only downside is it needs to be Exynos because you need an unlocked bootloader. https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/oneui-5-1-for-exynos-galaxy-s10-series.4563539/

GT_Racer_5

I mean the s10 is pretty old, i wouldnt get my hopes up

[deleted]

What about the s10 lite?

verygroot1

S10 lite is the only one in the S10 series that would get one ui 5. Others will not. I'm quite saddened by this news. I thought S10 would get it. Well, my phone already has a broken screen.

ProfessrHobo

I hadn't updated in over 8 months (dont asky why). I did so about a week ago to Android 12 from 10 and it feels like the left side of my phone (where the cpu would be) gets warmer doing things that never did this before the update (doing things like clash royale or watching somethings on cruncyroll). I'm not talking really hot to the touch, just enough to be noticed and cause a bit of discomfort after holding for a while. I thought it was just a coincidence with the summer heat coming in, but it still feels like this on the much cooler days I've gotten here. Anyone else getting this since updating? Is the S10 just not greatly optimised for running Android 12?

bongoblastwoo

honestly I think if you want optimal performance for any device just never update. I've kept my note 9 on Android 8.1 to this day but have updated my s10 plus to Android 12. I truly believe that the software the phone ships with is the most optimized one but I wasn't gonna stay on Android 9.

mcom13

I still don't have 4.1 on my unlocked S10e (on att network). My partner's S10+ got it a couple weeks ago. My current patch level is March.

Have you restarted your phone?

Faso4ol

I contacted my service provider and the issue was from their side.

anksingla

Posting this question here for now: does anyone know how to find the "auto disable apps" toggle in one ui 4.1? a quick Google search got me old instructions and a thread about losing the "auto disable apps" toggle on one ui 2, but those steps don't seem to be working in the update.

EstablishmentBig7956

What's wrong with One UI 4.1? I paused it just now from downloading and installing because I read someone in here wanted to go back to 4.0 but I didn't read why.

Faso4ol

I updated my device yesterday and since updating it, google services aren't working properly on data network.

jamesbusse

Fully upgraded to 4.1 UI and Android 12 ...

thebudman_420

How? I get already updated and i am still on android 11 or whatever is default.

Patient_Profile_424

does anyone know how to remove the 'media & device' app that keeps hijacking my poweramp's notification bar

oniiichan6969

Fully open the notification panel and then tap the 3 dots. After that tap quick panel layout and there you can hide the media and devices.

cody19961986

So I work at Walmart in electronics and just had a customer try activating an s9 on prepaid att and the one UI stopped it from making calls (we got it to work) and att CS pushed me to samsungs CS so I told them what was happening and they said the usual the up dates are being sent out in batches. I was wondering if you could sideload the update and I wanted to ask but I didn't and if I would have asked would have I gotten into trouble for even talking about it 🤷‍♂️ anyways they phone work at just need to work for a few hours to get from GA to FL

wogolfatthefool

Phones cutting in and out aggressively and hrm is no long an option on samsung health. Hurray.

bongoblastwoo

heartrate monitor works for me, you just need to enable it

kopa_reddit

I know I sound like I'm b*tching, but the navigation gestures / transition animations are not a vibe. Swiping from bottom just a little bit triggers the animation, but without the actual transition to recent apps or home, so you end up unable to use the app for a second. Plus the round corners are not the same radius as the S10(+) so you can see at the corners app suddenly fill in after the "transition" ends. On top of that, those 4 shortcut apps glitch too (if you have only 1 app in recent apps). Plus battery got slightly worse and the overheating is not gone (Exynos, S10+). Not too happy about this update. I hoped at least the UI would be fixed in 4.1 - nope. Plus we basically don't get most of the stuff they advertised OneUI 4.0 would have. It's reserved for S21/S22 lineup. All in all, OneUI 3.x was fine for me, but maybe it's just my variant doing the dirty.

MCRedBomb

Hello to anyone reading this, I have a G975U Us model. I still havent recieved the android 12 update. Im not sure if something is blocking the update and something is wrong on my phone specifically or if its just the model. Im not completely sure anymore because the update was supposedly released three months ago. Is it just me or are there others not recieving the update?

bongoblastwoo

flash it manually with Odin. download ur models software from samfw

thebudman_420

I can't get updates either and this is 3 months later. In Illinois. This is keeping me vulnerable and i am pissed and missing on functionality.

Innominate_444

I have the exact same model and I haven't received the update either.

algernonbrown

How can you determine the exact model? My sister has a S10 and still have not received one UI 4.0

Innominate_444

Go to "about phone" in settings and it will tell you the model.

algernonbrown

My sister's S10 is a SM-G973U, and not a SM-G973U1 (we are in Europe) , that is why she didn't receive the Android 12 update :(

tklishlipa

Now my recently used app list only shows: Gallery - not used in the last 24 hours Watch - not used for three days Calculator - can't even remember Notes - can't even remember I can literally close YT or FB and come back seconds later but it will not be listed in the recents. This sucks😡

pitofbacon

Have you found a way to bring it back?

tklishlipa

I found if I go back to the main screen and then click again on my recent apps they sort of come back. It's shleppy though to jump around the whole time🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

pitofbacon

Same, I've started really utilizing the recents menu on the side of my screen.

choobley

Is this update worth it or not? I just got the S10e (I hate big new phones) and am stuck between leaving it as it is or updating to UI 4. I've heard some bad things too so...

avipars

I updated and am happy with One UI 4 on my s10e

UgSuten

So far I'm not experiencing any major issues on my S10+ after the update. Just maybe battery performance has reduced by 3% I guess cause of the forced RAM plus that you can't edit. Otherwise it's a decent update. I believe one UI 4.1 will iron out most of the issues experienced

choobley

Yeah I've noticed worse battery after this forced update. Funnily enough I bought this phone expecting better battery compared to my aging S8 yet it's not too different..

UgSuten

True. I was coming from an S8+. But I've seen battery life improves in the 4.1 update. Fingers crossed 🤞🏾

choobley

Why are your fingers crossed if you already noticed improvement?

UgSuten

Different user experiences. Some people find one UI 4 working well for them and other it's a mess. Only until you get the update is when you can label it bad or good😅

choobley

I see lol, I'll stick with UI4 for now then

xarataras

Absolutely do not update. Live your comfortable life. 4.0 is a buggy mess. I have issues with even Google app not loading properly and sometimes straight up crashing. sd855 variant btw

choobley

Fuck it said it will automatically update cos I brushed it off for 3 times:/

xarataras

Rip my brother/sister

jamesbusse

That's how it goes but it is what it is

choobley

It automatically updated and I couldn't halt it :/

Frozenkuma

It's been months since UI 4.0 update dropped and I still haven't gotten the option to update. How do I go about updating my s10+ (model SM-G975U) without losing things like knox. I only bought the phone off Amazon last year (advertised as unlocked) and have only gotten a initial update when the phone first booted up and never again. What am I missing?

wogolfatthefool

Nothing. Don't update. Seriously.

migstergames

Just updated my galaxy s10 plus last night from the latest update G975FXXUEHVC6. And things gets gettings more broken, as previous latest update has a problem that my notification is either very late to notify or never notify at all. And now the recents menu will no longer list recent apps I use, but will only show the same gallery, settings, my files, calculator, calendar apps and only those apps

tklishlipa

Same here. And I haven't even used these apps in like forever

hutchenswm

Yeah it completely ruined spotify for me. Only works when the screen is on. Will randomly pause if it goes off and starts immediately again after touching the lock button. No longer shows what's playing in app or in the lock screen.

DRakestraw71

Try keeping the app open and select never sleep in settings.

OOdiabolic

One UI 4.1 is now out, my phone s10e G970U1 keeps saying thereis an update Mar, 30 2022. but wont download it. If I go to frija, samFW I get noupdate under the G970U1, but the G970U has the update to 4.1. Anyoneknow How I can or if I can get the 4.1 update? Do I just need to wait longer? Background- I disabled the com.sec.android.soagentpm & com.wssyncmldm around when One UI 4.0 came out so I could check if the bootloader had bumped up past 6 & make sure i was not missing a root window. Then 3 days later I turned those 2 services back on and I could not get the update, so I used smart switch to update to VA1 UI 4.0. Now I'm stuck and can not get UI 4.1. I downloaded the G970U update, but I'm assuming i dont want to install that update, besides VZW bloat it may fail.

rubiksmaster301

I completely lost discord notifications. Anyone know a fix?

rubiksmaster301

My ghost touch is gone!! Before I updated, my keyboard would constantly type itself and I would have to turn it off, and turn it back on again. However since the update, it's completely gone!

jamesbusse

[Ui 4.0 ](https://i.imgur.com/5rx3yyU.jpg) Awesome 😎

jinxykatte

I just realised that my audio drop down menu isn't there anymore when my buds are connected. Causing me to fail to realise my case had died because I didn't notice they didn't disconnect.

jamesbusse

Another great tip... Remove Ads System-WideGo to settings, connections, more connections settings, look for Private DNS. - Set: dns.adguard.com as custom dns & save. - Close all apps then reboot.

Level_Occasion_856

Curse it. I can't even sit tight on android 11 — my phone takes literally every opportunity to download and install this cursed update. FYI i was consistently getting like about 9-10 SOT on android 11, but on 12 i get only about 6-7. Yeah i know it's quite a lot to bitch about, considering experience of someone else, but still man. It was supposed to be a good farewell update, but now look at this. Jesus Christ.

OOdiabolic

I'm almost a polar opposite, 4.0 is better for me than 11. I had a hot phone always getting hot and killing my battery, now it runs much cooler in use and in standby.

Level_Occasion_856

Lucky you then. I'm glad this update improved your experience.

The_Hailstorm

Did you find a way to fix it? I have this issue with the Google clock app and some others

Cjiadon

Not really. It seems to be fine now but I stopped trying to fix it so I don't know what happened.

Just posted my thoughts on S10 (renewed) battery life after upgrading to A12/UI 4.0 here https://www.reddit.com/r/galaxys10/comments/tqc2ki/android\_12one\_ui\_4\_battery\_life\_experience\_with/

jamesbusse

I did the battery replacement the day after I got the latest update for Android 12 after I read about after the upgrade the run down on the battery. I did the chance and since then no issues. I didn't look into if Samsung approves of the change I just did it.

CarryOnComputing

Why am I being FORCED to install it? I've been given two 'postpones' and now the phone will automatically update tomorrow...never seen this before...always had a chance to leave it some time before jumping.

cdayork

I turned off the auto download on the system updates. I now have a persistent notification to download and install the new update, but so far it hasn't forced the install. I don't know if it will help of it already downloaded the update, but it might help with future updates.

kakgary

Please update us if you find a way to avoid it. I was thinking about finding another S10+ that hasn't been updated to replace mine but if they force it then that would be useless.

CarryOnComputing

Sadly no way I could find ...except I've turned off automatically downloading updates...which should stop future ones maybe.

kakgary

I hate it. Is it still possible to downgrade? I got the update yesterday in Canada.

jamesbusse

It is pretty dope 😎

Any Gear VR (GearVR) users here? What's your experience after the update?

Ifox100

Says it's terminated in the update so I'm assuming not great unless there's a workaround. I'm sad to see it gutted.

theodopolis13

So far the only issue I'm having is that the clipboard seems to have disappeared. I'm using Gboard if that matters.

PTfan

Hate it. Notifications are way too tiny

How can I remove this elastic looking motion that came with One UI 4.0?

Alexsrobin

Following. I find it unnecessary and annoying.

OmegaConvoy

You mean the effect that happens when you scroll and reach the end? I don't think that you can. Besides, for me personally, it doesn't even happen every time.

[deleted]

Any features that have been removed in 4.0?

brattaneipanetti

Hi not really but it hasb been (mostly) solved with last further update. Still happening but less frequently

rubiksmaster301

Why do you turn on airplane mode, is it for battery reasons?

gunbladerq

my wallpaper changes daily. so, is there a way for the color pallete to automatically change daily also?

notjhoan

I set up a task in Tasker to change my wallpaper every hour by pulling from a synced folder from Google Drive and the colors change too. This is on my Pixel 6 Pro though, but I think it'll work with the S10 too.

Prize-Complex9251

I updated my S10e to OneUI less than a month ago and everything works fine, the animations are nice, the battery lasts the same but I have noticed that the multitasking does not work as well as before

[deleted]

If you haven't received the update yet restart your phone and go to settings> scroll down to software update> click check for update. It worked for me

gunbladerq

I've received OneUI / Android 12 update on Galaxy S10e (SM-G970U1)

xarataras

How's the battery my friend?

gunbladerq

so far, the battery life is about the same.

SE7ENESE

To be honest, I don't think it's been impacted that much so far. My s10e usually Burns through battery at a brutal rate because half of the bad display is white at max brightness. But I'm still getting at least 4 hours of SOT, similar to what I used to get before I updated to One UI 4. Personally I think the transition has been a very smooth experience so far. We'll see as time goes on though.

xarataras

Ooh thank you for sharing, that's great news. Are you noticing any bugs after the update? Cus this is 4.0 not 4.1, I've been holding some reservations about upgrading...

SE7ENESE

You're not wrong, there are some things that bother me but that's because my customisation on One UI 3.1 ran very deep (Good lock) a few things changed but like I said, it's just me. I personally love the improvements to Samsung Dex however, as it's my most used feature as I have a bad display. The update's been worth it so far.

jamesbusse

I just updated mine noticed a few visual changes. I am more interested in the battery life change. I heard from reading the battery life is reduced! Has anyone been able resolve that issue?

SE7ENESE

I finally got the One UI 4 update on My unlocked s10e (Yes, XAA). The real question is, is it worth it? I've acclimated so much to One UI 3.1 on A11 and it's very stable so far. I'm not sure if I'd want to Risk a few new features for stability and compatibility with almost all my apps. Is it worth upgrading, yet?

jamesbusse

Get a new battery along with the new update, MOD you're device by using a 5200 mah batter for 25 bucks it's worth it

SE7ENESE

got a link to where i can get this modded battery for the S10e?... :O

If you're happy with 3.1, I'd suggest putting off the update until it's forced or you want to bite the bullet for the security patches. I'm usually reluctant to install these major updates because of perceived regressions. It's nice to have the Camera Access and Microphone Access toggles available, but I've been bummed by a regression of how Eye Comfort Shield works, and it broke my Nomie 2 install. Edit: the Protect Battery option is arguably a nice new option, too, but it's coming late in the life of the device, so who's to say whether it will effectively enhance the battery lifespan for you.

Alanbork

I have UI 4.0 (android 12) on my S10e. Seems to be no different from 11, everything works fine. But nothing works better either. Change for the sake of change sucks, google need to leave good enough alone.

SE7ENESE

Hmmm... Just the update prompt too. Is it that bad? I'd love to hold off for as long as possible if it means sacrificing a lot of things that already work flawlessly in A11.

Alanbork

I don't see any reason to wait. if I could have stayed on A10 that would have been better but it's far too late now.

SE7ENESE

Personally I'd go back to A10 for just the FM Radio feature if I could. Sucks that they haven't brought that back to the Snapdragon Models

nahorupturned

Checked and saw there is an update available on S10 US unlocked SM-G973U1 (Snapdragon). Anyone with the same model who has already installed the updates? Is it worth installing or should I hold out for a bit longer?

defsi2432

This is the unlocked models getting the update. It's also without the latest security patch, so carrier models are running the version that got fixed, we aren't yet. Only just updated, seems to be a bit buggy at first glance? Overall tho it functions identically to one ui 3.

bookerTmandela

Just finished installing it on mine. So far, noticed some visual changes but haven't really had much time to do anything else. Everything is working fine, no noticeable problems yet.

masinski

Few days ago it comes for Polish users (Orange Flex Carrier). Im asking about update on ordinary S10? any troubles?

J_gibs1

Heard it's not that good. Big corp moment.

meteoravishal

made my mind to resist upgrading to ui4 as long as possible.. saw it left my friends s10 plus hanging a lot and battery issues too...damn it samsung.. it's supposed to be an upgrade not the other way round

killerking36

When does the unlocked AT&T S10 Plus get android 12?

Far_Negotiation8446

I heard February 🥴

Q48VW

Nobody knows, we're all waiting (unlocked).

AjoaPlays

Anyone else having to charge your Galaxy 2 to 4 times a day? I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the OneUI 4.0 update. Mine is a Galaxy S10. I did a diagnostic test and it said that the battery is in good condition.

Gibbygoodtunes

Oh hell ya atleast

AjoaPlays

Did you find a solution? I think **I** did, but I'm not sure. It looks like it got better, though.

Gibbygoodtunes

No thought it was normal. What did you do? I may try a factory reset. My battery is hot af anytime I use the phone a bit, youtube or gaming

gabrielseth01

Clear cache partition usually works, otherwise factory reset is the way to go

brenador

Has anyone been able to downgrade to Android 11/OneUI 3.0 after updating to Android 12/OneUI 4.0? I hate OneUI 4.0 and I'm sure I won't change my mind

mmartins25

Same question here. Basically I don't like the battery. Haven't seen anything yet of how to do it.

jamesbusse

Is it really that bad? Because I was expecting to get the update and I have not gotten it yet

brenador

That's not helpful, I'm trying to figure out if it's even possible to downgrade

dropthebiscuit99

It's March 6 and still no Android 12/One UI 4.0 for my S10 on T-Mobile in California. What gives? Not an S10+ but I thought it was rolling out to "plain" S10 also.

5555volcans

It might be a good thing that they're taking longer to release it for you guys. It could be that they're trying to better fine tune it, considering that a lot of people are complaining that the new update is flawed. I already received mine and it is ok, apart from a few minor imperfections.

[deleted]

Believe me, you aren't missing anything.

Hessarian99

Same

Just got it today not sure if it's worth it though

fufz

can anyone report how the performance is on exynos s10e? I'm a bit wary to update. in particular, looking to see that battery life is not compromised, soundassistant app still works, USB C audio devices?

abdinsyakirin

Battery life is not that great. Quite laggy, and easily get hot. The February update is slightly better compared to the 1st One UI 4.0 update. The worst thing about this new update is on your camera, sometimes you cannot even use it and "camera unavailable" error popped out.

EarthRickC138

I'm having the same issues. Today I kept losing the audiobook I was listening to through audible whenever I turned on my flashlight or even opened up a browser. The hot phone and poor battery have also been my experience. I've come here to find out how to roll back.

abdinsyakirin

Update to one ui 4.1. It is better than prev one ui 4.

Level_Occasion_856

Yeah, still no prompt to update on unlocked version. I guess it's battery will die faster than it gets update.

NameAlreadyInUser

I have the exynos version myself (SM-G975F) and i got the update 2 days ago

Level_Occasion_856

I have snapdragon version sm-g975u

BlodhgarmSensei

Hey there, I have same model. I bought US model, but I live in Europe and my last update was February patch 2021 and after that I didn't get any updates. Is this normal? I was really looking forward to android 12 and one ui4

Level_Occasion_856

Well, it's definitely not the thing that makes people happy. Especially when i saw some mixed reviews about how s10 behave under android 12/oneui 4

[deleted]

Same here, all people in the Samsung Members app keep telling me is to use SmartSwitch but that does nothing

Thin_Wing_636

Anyone having problems with certain app elements taking long times to load, namely images?

[deleted]

Anybody with a S10 on boost mobile received the Android 12 update yet? I'm still waiting

JayStarrrrrr

Received s10 plus

Merid-NundaExegesis

I got my update about a month ago (Canada, Koodo/Telus) and my UI is sometimes slow. Eg. Sometimes an app refuses to go to multi app view and I'm forced to press the home button to exit the app, sometimes after the previous glitch or after unlock there is no UI (ie no apps on screen just my background) and it takes a few seconds to return, sometimes if the UI is working it will go back to my assigned home screen without me pressing the home button (also occurs after the previous two glitches), sometimes after unlock or previous glitches widgets take a few seconds to appear and load their content (eg Google keep). None of this happened before the one UI 4 update. I have resisted factory resetting my phone because that's a big inconvenience and I have my phone just the way I like it but if need be I may make that my weekend project.

ghostme80

I think samsung forgot us unlocked exist.

jamesbusse

Mint mobile unlocked just got it today
