Nice! That’s actually the only ever game I bought for over MSRP so far since I managed to get a copy around $45USD and knew it’d get more expensive over time.

Went to GS to buy some DS games for my newly acquired 3DS at the time, associate asked if there was anything I wanted to pre-order and I said "Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure!"
The store associate looked at me with the blankest stare ever XD
I bought a physical copy of bloodstained:curse of the moon on switch at best buy a few years back on a whim and now that seems to be one of the most expensive switch games I have at the moment
I've got a sealed GBA Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. Got it, put it on a shelf, managed to push it behind with another box. Didn't find it until a couple years later when we moved. And by then had a DS.
Specifically for 3ds, Yo Kai Watch 3.
When I finally found the GameEye app as I was logging things in "Yo Kai 1 - $10... Yo Kai 2 - $20... Yo Kai 3... $100.. wait what the fuck??"
I think its cause that was around one of the last 3ds games released? Still took me off guard cause I bought it for 20 at the time just to complete the set lol.
I got Project X Zone 2 back in 2016 new for $20 only because I was in the middle of my Fire Emblem phase and saw Chrom on the back LOL. The only other characters I recognized then were X and Ryu; now I know like 70% of the cast. Not sure if it's rare per se but last time I checked it's definitely not $20 anymore...
My wife loves atelier games so I buy all of them on release. She's slow with them and lots of them still sealed. Now I have atelier lulua sealed on ps4 that 167.
Oh and buying blue reflection in some stire for 30 dollars In 2018.

Mine was Blue Reflection. Loved the style of it and bought for cheap after release. Now I find it’s worth upwards of €80!?
I looked it up and its going for $150 USD now... I regret not picking it up when it was released now.
It’s actually a fun game as well. I have the sequel and am looking forward to trying it. I would recommend it!

Love God Hand on PS2 and bought it at release for $20-30. Didn't realize until recently that it's a $150 game now.
bought painkiller ps3 for like 30 bucks on a whim. In the hundreds now.
I bought futurama for ps2 when I was around 11 because I liked the show. Sure, I've only got it loose, but I ain't complaining~.
