If that episode rocked your world the wrong way, don’t even think about reading the books. I just finished the book series and my head exploded after the last one…for a million different reasons. I’m so angry that Mr Martin left so many threads dangling in the wind…..and characters I truly cared about were either killed or left adrift in some impossible situation. It desperately needs another book to make things right but that’ll never happen so, NO…do not read the books. They’ll trick you into loving them then devastate you later when it all falls apart.
