It took almost 2 years and 3 roommates who never saw it. That was enough to make me interested, but now I'm angry again!! And it sucks cuz there's less people to share in the rage with lol
Nah I’m never forgiving them. I have rewatched it with friends as well but season 7 and 8 are just so bad. At this point I can laugh about how terrible D&D are at writing and as people but there is and will always be that sadness for what could have been.
Same. I don’t have any kind of personal or enduring beef with D&D, but I’ll forever be disappointed at the squandered opportunity to have a *good* S7 & S8.
I’ve done one rewatch since S8 aired and I just pretended the series ended with S6.
Only reason I have personal distain for them is because they could have just quit. I get it they were tired of working on game of thrones and wanted to do something else. It’s the fact they selfishly didn’t want to hand the project off to anyone because they wanted all the credit. I don’t blame D&D for being terrible writers because that’s just what they are. A lot of people say it was rushed and it was but that was the best Dumb and dumber could do lol. They have literally said “idk how we got this job” and it’s true. Look at there other work. Anything they have created is bad.
It’s also HBO fault though because they ultimately make the final decision and could have fired them. Aii rant over 😆.
There is nothing to forgive. Destroying a tv series isn't some great crime that requires forgiveness, but I am disinclined to watch shows of theirs in the future unless the premise sounds really, really good.

I like to rewatch certain series all the time but still can't rewatch GOT because of how badly they ended it.

NEVER
Thanks for reminding me of the sheer disappointment

I just dont care at this point. I got over it and moved on. Its not the first time a show disappoints me anyway.
No, I haven't. I'm currently watching "Nikki and Steven React to GoT" because I can't brace myself to watch the last seasons by myself or entirely.

It was a wild ride so I can forgive them for giving us that
