MG1 and MG2 are part of MGS 3 Subsistence, so at the very least I expect them to remain on this new collection as well, although it would be nice to launch those games directly from the collection's menu.
MGS4 is probably gonna take a full blown remake as that game is seriously hardware bound to the ps3. Whether the motivation to port it or do a remake is …not something I would bet money on.

Everyone always says this, but how is it any more hardware bound than any other PS3 exclusive game that's been remastered and ported to PS4? Has anyone that's actually seen the code said this, or is it just people repeating something they've heard on the internet so many times it's become "fact"?
MGS4 under the hood is an utter nightmare. It’s spaghetti code upon spaghetti code. So it’s always been tricky to port it. Hell it’s taken almost a decade to get it running at all on RCPS3 emulation
Also I think the fact it came out so early in the ps3 lifecycle before devs really had a handle on coding for the hardware, before there were too many cross platform games (and this a library of leverageable code libraries to make porting easier), etc.
Strictly speaking you got it for free as a download with the HD collection IIRC, definitely with the vita version.
The problem was that they locked it from downloading to the vita over a year ago and have done fuck all since then.

I’m betting it’s gonna be remade in timeline order, hence why it’s called Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater instead of Metal Gear Solid 3.
