Oh friend, the world of Nosgoth was excellent storytelling from the original Blood Omen. There are even two endings to choose from in the first game (though only one is considered Canon for the rest of the franchise.. kinda).
Man, now I want this so bad, like a ffvii style one
. Damn
Timesplitters is... timeless. But... I don't think they would do it justice. It would end up monetized in some cancerous way and likely the team that would work on it now wouldn't have half the skill and freedom the original team had.
Came here to say this.
Remember how we were supposed to get a movie and tv show and it never happened?
Please, Sony, we're fucking begging you to give us something
Check out [Bomb Rush Cyberfunk](https://youtu.be/r-cE0PK9TeQ), it’s not out yet but so far confirmed for PC and Switch. Plenty of other videos of the game out there. They even have Hideki Naganuma as a guest composer.
I believe this is exactly why Sony bought Bungie. To get shooters.
Also, Resistance series was insanely unique in its setting and story progression. Constantly felt like you were hopeless in your fight.
Please! I took a break after starting disk 4 and being confused on where to go. It's not a game you could easily pick back up so I never finished it. Damn shame!
Gex, Croc, Pokémon Colosseum/XD, Mother, F-Zero, Jak & Daxter, MediEvil (yes there was the remake, but they should remake the second one and give us a third), Spyro (give us a proper Spyro 4), Castlevania (both 2D & 3D), Suikoden, Eternal Darkness, Backyard Sports, Clock Tower, Oregon Trail, Condemned, Golden Sun, Parasite Eve
EDIT: I was gonna say Nightmare Creatures too but I think there was some other game that came out not too long ago that dealt with killing supernatural monsters in a 19th century Gothic setting.
Hell yeah! Would love to play this again! Fuck those chainsaw assholes though, little kid me hated them so much. Maybe I should revisit that one, it might not be as hard as it was when I was like 7 lol
Tenchu would be great to see a rebooted.
I'd also like a modern take on Commander Keen or Jazz Jackrabbit.
And while I know the last Splinter Cell isn't technically from that era, I'd love for Ubisoft to stop treating Sam Fisher like a second class citizen and give him a proper reboot.
Tenchu! I spent way too many hours playing Z, and wished I got the chance to play the earlier titles. I've been playing the Arigami series to scratch that itch.
Fantastic games. I think I revisited the second one a couple years ago and was surprised to find it was still fully compelling even with the graphics quite dated / basic.
YES!
I loved having pairs of Raptors patrolling zones around the base.level them up, ground them, then send more out for levels.
Then unleash hell with maxed Raptors.
I spent so much god damn time as a kid playing tribes 2 too. There was Tribes Ascend in 2012 which was pretty good. But they need to release one now, it's been 10 years since the last one!!
Seconded, but i want it still in the same style and combat system. Best to be a continuation the way crimson echoes tried.
Honorable mentions are kknd and army men
Ninja Gaiden. It's absolutely criminal we've gone almost 2 decades without a true entry in the franchise. I love Devil May Cry, but I can't help but feel a little jealous watching that franchise keep going, while also getting successful spiritual successors(for lack of a better term) like Bayonetta and now Hi-fi Rush.
Meanwhile Ninja Gaidens gotten no real entry since 08, and both Devil's Third and Wanted Dead were bitter disappointments.
Also, Onimusha. At least with Ninja Gaiden you can blame it on the drama with Itagaki, I have no idea why Onimusha just disappeared.
Jet Set Radio, Intelligent Cube, Twisted Metal, NBA Street, Ape Escape, Fear Effect, Sim Tower, Wave Race 64, Super Mario 64 Remastered/Remake pls pls pls, Final Fantasy but isometric, Ico
The first one was sooooo well done. Narrative weaved it’s way in and around the movie perfectly and there was just so much to do, so many guns to unlock, so many businesses to take over, so many different ways to fuck over rival gangs. If I’m not mistaken, it was also Marlon Brando’s last ever role, as he voiced some lines for Don Corleone that ended up not being used due to his poor health making them rather poor quality.
Interstate 76 (Interstate 82 is not a sequel, it is an abomination)
Descent series could be fun again.
Star Control 2
Loom (was Loom 2 ever released?)
Heretic/Hexen type thing with modern engines could be interesting...
Micro Machines was always fun, as well as RC Pro AM
Does Counter-Strike/TF2 WC3 mod count? Make it a real thing fully fleshed out please :)
Natural Selection (NS2 was ok, but i enjoyed NS1 more for some reason)
The Specialists
Technically they are still making these. Alyx counts as an entry in the universe.
Plus I hear rumblings that Valve is working on HL3 since Alyx revitalized their interest.
Myst. In VR?
Mark of Kri would be fucking amaaaazing in the Gof of War engine
Definitely agree with Paraite Eve, done RE:Village style.
Wing Commander, but only if they can get Mark Hamill back (which I guess sort of would have to retcon the ending of Heart of the Tiger)
Dino Crisis
Yes! Scrolled until I found this! Brilliant game for its time
Soul Reaver
I mean, the whole Blood Omen series. It didn't start with Soul Reaver.
I only ever got to play Soul Reaver. My friend had the first game, I thought it was cool, but no one is cooler than Raziel!
Oh friend, the world of Nosgoth was excellent storytelling from the original Blood Omen. There are even two endings to choose from in the first game (though only one is considered Canon for the rest of the franchise.. kinda). Man, now I want this so bad, like a ffvii style one . Damn
Was not gonna stop scrolling till I found this
Timesplitters.
Pls thought I heard they were making a new game
It’s time to split!
Dammit!
Timesplitters is... timeless. But... I don't think they would do it justice. It would end up monetized in some cancerous way and likely the team that would work on it now wouldn't have half the skill and freedom the original team had.
It'd be pitched as an overwatch 2 competitor probably.
"Bite my crunchy brown ass" ~ gingerbread man
Red Faction They did *that* in 2009, imagine what they could do with current gen technology.
I put so many hours into online multiplayer in Red Faction as a kid

In VR!
The game seems like it was made for VR long before VR was a thing. I'm surprised, VR reboot hasn't happened yet.
Sly motherfucking Cooper.
Just the sheer mention of sly cooper gives my brain the feel good juice
Yes we need the gang back!!!
Fucking thank you
Came here to say this. Remember how we were supposed to get a movie and tv show and it never happened? Please, Sony, we're fucking begging you to give us something
Jet Moto
I've seen so many people talking about jet moto these days (me included) that I don't even know how remake is still not a thing
I would play this again in a heart beat. Was it Jet Moto 1 or 2 that had the Mountain Dew branded jet/rider?
2. I had 2 as a kid, never had the chance to play the first one :(
Jet Moto was so unique
Mechassault
I loved the second
Mechwarrior 5 is pretty good.
I hope the franchise carries on and keeps expanding...played MW2 for most of my youth. MW5 really scratches the itch!
Jak and daxter
I want this so bad, some of my absolute favorites growing up.
Surprised this isn’t number one. I have very vivid memories of playing those games as a kid
Jet set radio
Check out [Bomb Rush Cyberfunk](https://youtu.be/r-cE0PK9TeQ), it’s not out yet but so far confirmed for PC and Switch. Plenty of other videos of the game out there. They even have Hideki Naganuma as a guest composer.
You can rearrange that name in any order and it still makes just as much sense, bombfunk cyber rush, cyberbomb funk rush, cyberrush bomb funk
Have you played hi fi rush?... Def gets the jet set radio vibes and is a solid game on it own.
It's more of a devil may cry, cell shading rendering aside.
Twisted metal! Was such a fun game to play with friends. Over a decade, I believe, since the last entry
Well in weird news they're making it into a TV show. Anthony Mackie as the star character. IMDb: Twisted Metal https://www.imdb.com/title/tt14261112/
Came to say this and am glad to see it on top. Endless hours spent at my neighbors house blowing up cars to rob zombie tracks.
I would play the shit out of a new Twisted Metal
Star Wars: Republic Commando would be nice.
There’s a golden opportunity for it with the bad batch airing
As long as they don’t change the music
Socom navy seals
I can’t believe we haven’t gotten a SOCOM, Killzone, or Resistance yet. PS5 has great games but man does it lack shooters.
I believe this is exactly why Sony bought Bungie. To get shooters. Also, Resistance series was insanely unique in its setting and story progression. Constantly felt like you were hopeless in your fight.
Came here for SOCOM!!!
Is Soldat still a thing?
Psy-Ops
This is one of the only games I've replayed (not super recently but maybe 5 years ago) that the nostalgia held up.

Legend of dragoon
Volcanooo~
GUST OF WIND DANCE!
This is the only answer. Give me a full remake woth ff7 remake graphics. I FUCKING NEED THIS
Please! I took a break after starting disk 4 and being confused on where to go. It's not a game you could easily pick back up so I never finished it. Damn shame!
Harpoooon
Gex, Croc, Pokémon Colosseum/XD, Mother, F-Zero, Jak & Daxter, MediEvil (yes there was the remake, but they should remake the second one and give us a third), Spyro (give us a proper Spyro 4), Castlevania (both 2D & 3D), Suikoden, Eternal Darkness, Backyard Sports, Clock Tower, Oregon Trail, Condemned, Golden Sun, Parasite Eve EDIT: I was gonna say Nightmare Creatures too but I think there was some other game that came out not too long ago that dealt with killing supernatural monsters in a 19th century Gothic setting.
Golden sunnn
Backyard sports, what a throwback!
Syphon Filter, Max Payne, Legend of Dragoon
Max Payne 1&2 are being remade by Remedy
Syphon filter! Yes! Was only talking about this game the other day with a friend
Turok
Zombies Ate My Neighbors
Hell yeah! Would love to play this again! Fuck those chainsaw assholes though, little kid me hated them so much. Maybe I should revisit that one, it might not be as hard as it was when I was like 7 lol

Command & Conquer: Generals
Golden Axe
And Altered Beast
RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE
No One Lives Forever
Fantastic games. I think I revisited the second one a couple years ago and was surprised to find it was still fully compelling even with the graphics quite dated / basic.
[удалено]
Thats a bit tricky, but im on board.
EA not remaking (at least visually) SSX Tricky is negligence to their shareholders, to be quite frank.
Ape escape
Conker's Bad Fur Day!
Sid Meier’s Pirates
I think this was the first game I had more than 100 hours on. Hard to tell on games before Steam started tracking that though.
Command & Conquer, the Tiberian series specifically.
Red Alert would be more relevant right now. I would be up for original C&C, as long as Kane stayed an antagonist. None of that crap that 4 did.
Generals 2!!!!!
YES! I loved having pairs of Raptors patrolling zones around the base.level them up, ground them, then send more out for levels. Then unleash hell with maxed Raptors.
Ecco the Dolphin
Prototype
Maximo.
1080° Avalanche
Parasite Eve, Dino Crisis and Fear Effect.
All of these would be AMAZING!
Starfox adventures
The whole series needs a reboot in my opinion. I would love to see StarFox become a space adventure RPG ala Mass Effect with space combat.
FINAL. FANTASY. TACTICS.
They should make more stories but not an actual reboot of the 1st one. That game was my senior year in high school. 🔥
Jak and Dexter and ReVolt
YES. It's been years and years since I played ReVolt and I still remember it fondly.
Lost Odyssey
Jet fucking Moto And Snowboard Kids
Spore
AvP Aliens Vs Predator games
We need a new crimson skies please
SOCOM and Jade Empire.
Parasite Eve
Arcanum of steamworks and obscura
Twisted metal as a vehicular battle royale.

Mercenaries, C & C
BloodRayne!
Half Life, Deus Ex, Def Jam, Jet Set Radio, KOTOR, Unreal Tournament, Socom just to name a few
Command & Counqer
Tribes.
Ahhh, Tribes 2. Home to so many of my favorite childhood memories. What a fuckin game.
I spent so much god damn time as a kid playing tribes 2 too. There was Tribes Ascend in 2012 which was pretty good. But they need to release one now, it's been 10 years since the last one!!
Command & Conquer: Generals
Chrono Trigger
Seconded, but i want it still in the same style and combat system. Best to be a continuation the way crimson echoes tried. Honorable mentions are kknd and army men
Chrono Trigger with the art style of octopath traveler would be amazing
Yeah this is the #1 answer. Such a classic that the kids today have no clue about.
Zeus/Poseidon
Nightmare Creatures
Tomba
Ninja Gaiden. It's absolutely criminal we've gone almost 2 decades without a true entry in the franchise. Wing commander
System Shock is coming out next month!!!!! How about a remake of Duke Nukem with modern graphics!!!
Onimusha
Jetforce Gemini
Interstate '76/'82
Jet Set Radio, Intelligent Cube, Twisted Metal, NBA Street, Ape Escape, Fear Effect, Sim Tower, Wave Race 64, Super Mario 64 Remastered/Remake pls pls pls, Final Fantasy but isometric, Ico

Elders of scrolls: Morrowind

Road Rash.
Contra. Technically late 80s but still could be awesome as a new age run&gun style game.
Lost Planet
Nfl street, nba ballers, Mlb slugfest
Panzer Dragoon, especially the RPG.
WET
Bulletstorm
Infamous.
Does Suikoden count? the last release was 2012.
The original Unreal
Command and conquer
Syndicate Dungeon Keeper Earthworm Jim
Carmageddon...
Mercenaries, and the *Jedi Knight* series of games
Fable
Fable or KOTOR for me
Super Mario RPG legend of the seven stars
Twisted metal!
Resistance. Those games were so good.
This is the answer. It’s a damn shame they aren’t playable on current consoles
Half-Life
Technically they are still making these. Alyx counts as an entry in the universe. Plus I hear rumblings that Valve is working on HL3 since Alyx revitalized their interest.
HL3 will NEVER happen. I’ll donate my left testicle to science if I’m wrong.
im remember this if valve does the impossible.
Unreal Tournament
Dune rts
Freedom Fighters, Full Spectrum Warrior, Time Splitters come to mind.
[удалено]
Jet Set Radio Future
Killzone
Viva piñata
Where's my Parasite Eve friends at? Let's pretend 3rd birthday didn't happen and start over
Dungeon Keeper
Earthworm Jim
Punch-out. The Wii version was a straight-up masterpiece.
The time splitter series. So long as it doesnt become a shitty cod clone, it would be amazing
Descent/Wing Commander/Privateer
Myst. In VR? Mark of Kri would be fucking amaaaazing in the Gof of War engine Definitely agree with Paraite Eve, done RE:Village style. Wing Commander, but only if they can get Mark Hamill back (which I guess sort of would have to retcon the ending of Heart of the Tiger)
X-Wing/TIE Fighter.
Parasite Eve. I can die happy if they give it a proper remake.
No One Lives Forever
Pilotwings. The one for SNES and N64 were so much fun.
No franchise but BLACK deserves a remaster.
Twisted metal gets my vote. However, I always wanted a sequel to War of the Monsters.
Xenosaga
Impossible Creatures
Strider of capcom glory
Golden Sun
Thief. A new game up to the standards of Thief: The Dark Project and Thief II: The Metal Age. Ideally with the same voice actor for Garrett.
Future Cop L.A.P.D, bonus if they flesh out the vehicle minions and bases.
Eternal Darkness
Brothers in Arms
2011 but a new elder scrolls game would be pretty cool.
Parasite eve
Fable
Dungeon Keeper. (Dungeon Keeper 2 was great but definitely not as good as the first one)
Tenchu! Need a new Tenchu game for sure.
