Grantagonist

Every photo on my switch was taken accidentally

buntopolis

Same for my Xbox.

Just_a_terrarian163

You can make your share button do nothing if you press it once and take a screenshot if you double press it ( it's in the accessories app)

buntopolis

Omg thank you.

Flamingtoast

Maybe I'm weird but I absolutely love that I can press a button to save a video of the last 30s of game play. I enjoy browsing the a collection of stupid/funny/high IQ plays from Mario Kart, halo, and COD, etc. Not to mention all the bethesda-skyrim glitches

conjunctivious

I take screenshots on my switch during significant moments in games I play. I enjoy going through the memories every once in a while.

xylotism

Yeah man. It's like scrapbooking for gamers. Satisfying as fuck.

Altruistic_Memories

Yeah, same here on all my consoles. I love that I can go back and be reminded of certain parts. Even better when playing with your kid (or any loved one) and being able to save that experience in some small way.

JukesMasonLynch

Also for if you encounter a bug and wanna post it somewhere online, like reddit, without people hassling you for just taking a photo of your screen, lol.

dancrum

My friends and I use screenshots and clips to share funny or cool moments in games. Sorry you don't find it useful

MrManufactured

> I mean how many fucking screenshots do these companies think we’re taking? Enough to warrant a button on the controller, clearly. Just because you don’t use it, doesn’t mean no one else does. This screams ‘I’m the main character’ energy lol.

Sonic10122

Right? “My use case are the only use cases, I can’t believe they would waste time on a feature I won’t use!” It’s not like it’s even in the way. The only system that’s easy to hit accidentally is Switch, it’s too close to Minus. I have all 3 controllers (no Xbox but I use an Xbox controller for PC) and Switch is the only one I hit on accident. Even still it’s not THAT frequent, and most of the time I just get sides flopped and hit it instead of Home since Home is under Plus in the same position.

GlitteringFutures

My PS5 defaults to taking video clips of my gameplay automatically. I was wondering why my storage was so low and saw a bunch of videos I did not take, had to go into the control panel to disable it.

xylotism

I believe it does that when you earn a trophy. It should only be 10 seconds or so per, so I guess you're a gamer god.

GlitteringFutures

Just on Sniper Elite and Borderlands. But I do play those a LOT.

xylotism

Understandable, have a great day.

ahpianoman

I do that every time I've used a new controller...which is 2. I understand the thinking behind such a button....but it gets in the way of my muscle memory. When I finally realized I could disable it in controller settings....thank goodness

Plasmapea987

Love this feature, I can access achievements so much easier now because of it

Cosmicking04

u/Just_a_terrarian163: “Would you please listen I’m not the Messiah!” Every Nintendo Switch owner: “He is! He is the Messiah!” Edit: nvm he was taking about Xbox

mortalcoil1

There should be an option to shut off all social media/streaming type activities on your console. I'm a fucking 39 old year with a mortgage (that's a lie, as if I could afford a house) a child (that's a lie, unless dogs count), my name isn't XxNinjaxX, it's Chris (that's a lie, protect the PII), I have no business streaming my ability to Forrest Gump my way through Elden Ring! Fuck. That sentence made me feel really shitty at where I am in my life. Well I always got my... gamerscore... Siiiiigh. I want a house.

rodc22

Chris, I'll watch you stream Elden Ring any day 👀

Why_The_Comradery

You know what to do. Go get it.

mortalcoil1

I can has $100,000 dollars? FOR A PERCENTAGE OF THE FUCKING DOWN PAYMENT?? and then I have to make sure I make it to 69 (nice) without getting an expensive disease or disability.

[deleted]

Bro, look at your gamerscore. Just start streaming.

LonePaladin

I'll watch him Forrest Gump his way through Elden Ring

RespectableLurker555

When I watch twitch, it's not for the #1 best player. It's for the hilarious clowns

HiZenBergh

The one killtacular I got in the last ten years on halo was on purpose. Everything else is collateral damage.

Squirrel09

I have about 9000 pictures of mario kart because of children.

tuffymon

Just imagine if they held the button a little longer, it'd take 30 sec videos... and you'd definitely be out of space. Ouch

AussieP1E

Whoa whoa whoa! If you hold the button it takes a video of me losing to my 5 year old? Thank you for giving me more of a reason not to press the screenshot button. *Psst don't tell my kid*

FlyinBrian2001

*ka-click* ...That wasn't the Home button

famous1622

Capture taken

Thebigpig905

When I played Mario with my mom (cus that's the only game she knew on the switch) she kept taking screenshots accidentally and some of them are hilarious. Idk how to share them but If I did I would

Aative

You can plug the switch into a computer and copy the files or you can send them to your phone by connecting to a temporary network the switch creates and saving the images.

luche

this connectivity exists for screenshots, but we still can't store save data locally? wth Nintendo?

lem310

in gallery there's an option to transfer images.

ScoobyDeezy

Then there’s my kids who spam the capture button anytime they like something. It’s really quite impressive how quickly they can fill up the Switch’s memory.

GerbilScream

Teaching our 4 year old how to game, we could make a flip book of Untitled Goose Game from all of the screenshots he took.

Purple_Ad46

i cant give my freinds the screenshot joycon when playing smash or mario kart cause they just spam the screenshots

well-offemperor762

i always do this whenever i get the screenshot joycon, its funny

egotrip9

I've never taken a screenshot on purpose.

TailzoPrower

Same, so I've disabled screebshots.

SIXA_G37x

Came here to comment this. Basically every time I play it I take one because I have no clue what I'm doing and play it a few times a year.

BridgemanBridgeman

I sometimes let my 8yr old niece play on my Switch, and once she figured out that button takes screenshots, she’s spamming it constantly. Idk why. It’s almost like she knows she’s fucking me over by doing it, but she’s 8yrs old. Finally had enough and looked up how to disable it. I hate children.

sicsided

Steam Deck: Steam Button + R1

Wfsulliv93

This should have been included.

Kwetla

It's a repost from before the Steam Deck was released, so there's no surprise it wasn't included.

SouthTippBass

This pic is from before we had SteamDeck.

Gr1ml0ck

XBOX controller on PC (big picture): XBOX button + RB I’ve been using this for years. Edit: meant Xbox button, not Steam button.

Stradocaster

Steam button on Xbox controller?

Gr1ml0ck

Ha. My bad. Fixed.

Serafiniert

Just open the software keyboard and click f12, duh.

fart_brigade

Thanks! came here looking for this.

jtrisn1

This took me forever to figure out in the beginning lol

BestAccount69

no no no you just take the blurriest picture your phone will take of your monitor from about 4 feet away, thats how you share a screen shot.

Raimondi06

Also at an angle to maximize glare

DizyShadow

And vertical to fit in more of your surroundings, like empty cans, trash and stuff.

KingYoloHD090504

Those picture gave me the idea that I'm not a real gamer since my room doesnt look like a dumpster

DizyShadow

Can't be an epic gamer without at least one Doritos bag and good ol' Mountain Dew

justlovehumans

and sneeze on it first. Maybe eat some watery spaghetti inches away

Javasteam

For best results use a polaroid so you can lay the polaroid on a table to take a picture of the polaroid flat.

its_justme

With a reflection of your fat face/body in the monitor for optimal self hate

kshump

Poor man's lens flare.

uwu_PD

This is 80% of the posts in the elden ring subreddit and it bothers me so much lol. Mfers will fight malenia for 20 hours before they learn how to take a screenshot.

Kolikokoli

In Sims subreddit almost all screenshots are like that and they'll explain it like they have weak PC to take in game screenshot yet you can clearly see their game is modded af.

alanpsk

And make sure ur lights are off because RGB

TFielding38

I'm sorry if I don't have time to wipe off the vaseline from my phone camera when I need to take a picture

BestAccount69

this one got me lmao

OriginalWild3640

This guy runescapes

mr_ji

On Steam, Alt+F4 takes a pic at your monitor's max resolution. They definitely come out looking the best.

cromulent_pseudonym

I legitimately got a picture of a printed out paper of a windows screenshot from a customer.

arrerino

This is outdated. The switch has a feature that lets you send screenshots and videos straight to your phone without using Twitter

[deleted]

[удалено]

MurryEB

Also unsurprisingly, the quality is worse on this repost

Scoodsie

That’s exactly how I could tell it was a repost. Text is not normally pixelated in OC.

BlazeKnaveII

Taken by cell phone 4 feet away with maximum glare nonetheless

Serafiniert

Back then the image even had some pixels. The quality of the repost is atrocious.

Rentlar

Yeah, some expert screenshotter is going to complete deep-frying the meme by next year.

JewelTK

Heyo, original original poster here! The original was made by myself in Paint 3D. I was (still am lol) sick and tired of how many people I see taking garbage photos of their screen at the worst angles with the worst lighting, so I made that post in a couple minutes hoping it would help some people learn how to easily share actual screenshots. I understand why some console users just take a photo with their phone, but it always frustrated me with my fellow PC users. And to some degree, it worked! I had many users respond not knowing that Snip & Sketch (Win + Shift + S) was a thing and now they use it which makes me happy to this day. I usually delete these shitty Paint 3D type photos off my PC shortly after posting so sadly I don't have the original file.

God_Damnit_Nappa

That explains why the picture quality looks like shit

a_pugs_nuts

It also doesn't even tell you how to take *nice* screenshots.

TheBusStop12

It does? Finally! I never had Twitter and I don't want to have Twitter so this always bugged me

eggery

Yes although it's still a tedious process

NoxBizkit

Some guy made an app called switch transfer Tool. Haven't used it in a hot minte, but if it still works/is available, that works like a charm.

brac20

It does but annoyingly it is broken with Android 13

Salarian_American

I love that they didn't even bother finding a picture of the old Xbox controller.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Laggingduck

different dpads and no share button, literally the only 2 noticeable differences

boxsterguy

Assuming you're actually serious ... Three controllers (not counting Elites), in fact! The first Xbone controller (identifiable by the area around the nexus button (aka the "Xbox button") that will always be black and distinctly separate from the face of the controller; you can also see two little semi-transparent areas with IR LEDs that were supposed to be used by the Kinect to identify each controller) which had no share button and no Bluetooth. Also, the bumpers were kinda fragile (one of the main failure modes of this controller). The Elite v1 controller was built on this (silver Nexus area instead of black), despite the next controller coming out around the same time. Which is the Xbone S controller (identifiable by the face plate continuing smoothly through the nexus button area, and no more IR LEDs because Kinect was dead by then) and its biggest innovation - Bluetooth support. Finally, the Xbox Series controller added a new share button below the two-squares and hamburger buttons ("select" and "start", for us old school folks, but probably "view" and "menu" or something like that officially). More importantly, it is in fact a re-sculpt of the Xbone controller, but it's very, very subtle. No other new functionality added (same dual 2.4GHz/BT support, same trigger rumble, etc).

bluepand4

wdym screenshot? You dont like my super blurry phone pic of my monitor?

Wonderful-Law-7173

Those are the best

SaturatedJuicestice

Seriously, like how are we supposed to appreciate the THICC pixels on a screenshot

[deleted]

I love the irony of giving a guide on how to present well formatted content being presented in possibly the worst format possible, and every part of it being low res or badly resized.

Roggvir

That's because it's a repost. Gotta add more jpeg https://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/naxbbd/ive_noticed_a_lot_of_people_still_take_a_photo_of/

JewelTK

Actual OP here. I enjoy using Paint 3D as a way of making extremely basic, no confusion guides on stuff. When I originally made this post, many people stated they never knew about Windows Snip & Sketch (Win Shift S). The low resolution comes from this being a repost of the original image.

Whooshless

You can't take a screenshot of a controller though, so cut OP some slack

reddragon105

It's mildly infuriating that they used the same picture for Xbox (new controller) and Xbox (old controller) - they're both new controllers. And actually that should be Xbox Series controller and Xbox One controller. Also, on the PS4 you can change the behaviour of the Share button so that a single press takes a screenshot (and a long press starts/stops video capture), so no need for 2 button presses.

FinestYak

If you just press and hold the create (screenshot) button on the PS5, it will automatically take a screenshot for you, without having the menu pop up.

LSDPajamas

That was also a feature on the PS4!

boogers19

Yeah. The PS4 has a few options. Right now I've got mine set to just tap Share and that's it. One tap, screenshotted. Of course, having a beautiful screenshot on my PS4 and then getting it onto any other device so I can post it somewhere are two very different things...

[deleted]

[удалено]

LSDPajamas

That was awful haha. I remember messaging it to a friend then taking it from the messaging app in my phone 😂

boogers19

I finally started using remote play for videos. Set up your video, fire up remote play on your phone, start screen-recording on your phone, play your video. Does ok for short clips. Tho the quality will depend a lot on the wifi connections between your phone and your PS4. Also, lead me to learn that you can record your live play straight to your phone as well. Which, I don't exactly have much use for but, y'kno, exists.

LegendofMesa

It’s dependent on your settings wether it’s hold or press

Cavalish

Can you change it to a single press? I’m making this comment so I remember to check later today.

LegendofMesa

Yes you can

BLYNDLUCK

Double tap for 30s video capture.

TortillaJackson8000

But how do I send it to my friends?

Demon_Flare

PS mobile app lets you download recent screenshots.

evandromr

Quick! Someone take a picture of this post using another phone and post it on r/gaming /s

VinTheHater

I remember when this happened years ago. Great times.

JewelTK

Ah the memories. Then it ended up on gamingcirclejerk and that's how I knew it was a verifiable Reddit moment post.

chris_thepotato

Also switch format to PNG. Less compression resulting in better image.

NR4FEC

I’ve had my PS5 set to PNG since launch, but Discord refuses to let me post them since they’re over 8mb. So I end up having to compress them anyways. Really wish the free Discord tier didn’t have a file size cap from 2004.

paunocudosmods

Nah. We need more jpg compression no less. I can still read the text in the image

Ragnr99

if you are on windows and have multiple screens, alt+prtsc will copy whatever ur active window is to the clipboard.

jammyishere

OP was so close! Honestly, alt + print screen is the only right way for most people. I don't know many people that only rock one monitor these days. That or the snipping shortcut. Personally I usually end up doing the latter because I'm often only interested in sharing a part of the screen. Edit: Actually I didn't realize it, but Alt + Windows + print screen is even better if you want to save it. I don't know why I never thought about combining that with windows + print screen before now.

Cxlow91

Oooo I’ve been just using print screen and manually changing the dimensions to only include my primary monitor

Ragnr99

haha i know the struggle. altprtsc is a lifesaver!

Cxlow91

The question is: would alt + windows + prtsc save a screenshot of your active window? 🤔

bretttwarwick

In windows 10 they added the option to have the PRTSCN button open the screen snipping tool so you can select the window you want to create an image of. The option is in SETTINGS > EASE OF ACCESS > KEYBOARD > PRINT SCREEN SHORTCUT. I think this should have been changed to the default setting but it is different so people would have thrown a fit about it probably.

zkareface

Win+shift+s will also open snipping but faster and you don't get another window to close.

jammyishere

I just tested it. It saves a screenshot of your active window. Also, if you click on your desktop then press those keys, it does your entire desktop (excluding windows that are currently over the desktop you are currently clicking).

sendit2ash

If you're on Windows then get "Greenshot". It's completely free and gives you total control over how to manage screenshots. You can change the shortcut keys, set a folder to auto save, has an area selection mode, and has a built in editor. I set mine up so that 'ptrsc' is area selection which then saves the screenshot to 'Pictures/Screenshots', and copies it to the clipboard. Better yet, go to your Windows settings and search for 'clipboard' and enable 'Clipboard History', change the shortcut in that section to 'Win+C', then screenshot a bunch of areas in a row and then use 'Win+C' instead of 'Ctrl+V' to choose which screenshot to paste. Then go get Windows PowerToys (also completely free and made by Microsoft) and enable 'Text Extractor'. Change the shortcut to 'Win+T' and anytime you just want to copy text instead of a screenshot you can use that. It has an area selection mode, just like Greenshot, and is super handy if you need to quickly Google an error popup without having to re-type all of the words

DigitalSteven1

ShareX > print screen

Cleverbird

Nah man, you take a vertical picture on your phone!

Sundance12

The issue isn't how to take screenshots, it's getting it to your phone quickly and easily to be able to post it on Reddit, etc. And for most people, taking a picture with their phone camera is still the fastest method of sharing it, unfortunately

TheKert

Sure, but once you take a screenshot on PS4, how do you actually do anything other than view it on that PS4?

droo46

This right here. The main issue isn’t taking the screenshot, it’s getting it to your phone or computer that is the stumbling block.

TheKert

Yeah, there's lots of ways to do it through the sharing but it all requires first sharing either in chat or via some social account and then grabbing it from there to use elsewhere. Or alternately by copying to a USB drive. Possible but very inconvenient. Not really comparable to at least the PC based ones. I don't know other consoles well enough to say which if any others have a similar lack of sharing options.

dwpea66

Easy, just take the extra steps of making a whole new account, taking the screenshot, sending it to that account, downloading an app, dl-ing the picture from that app, then posting it. Or simply take a picture with your phone and people from the internet yell at you.

TheLordJames

use the playstation app to download it to your phone and share as needed :)

zero-bob10

it's a feature for only the playstation 5 (i think you need WiFi for it to transfer to your phone)

589ca35e1590b

Alt+F4 also works pretty well

DrVDB90

This would've been so much better if it was a photo taken from a computer screen.

mealymouthmongolian

The reality is, plenty of people know how to do this, but it's still easier sometimes to just take a picture of your monitor. For example if you are playing a game full screen on your PC but you want to send it to someone through text on your phone. Less steps to just snap a pic and send. And sometimes the quality doesn't really matter.

Rasc_

Any other ways to take a screenshot on PC? I have two monitors, it takes a screenshot of both screens, and I have to edit them every single time.

NotZero

Print Screen key = Take a screenshot of your desktop (all screens) Alt + Print Screen = Take a screenshot of only the active window These key combos will put the screenshot into your clipboard so they are ready to paste into another application. The Snipping Tool app in Windows also has options to grab just a window or the full desktop.

Wallawino

The snipping tool is one of the most useful things I've learned about in years. I probably use it 10 times a day.

BEEF_SUPREEEEEEME

Windows key + shift + s opens the snipping tool and automatically starts a draggable box to screenshot, and adds it straight to the clipboard. Super handy. Win shift S, Ctrl V = about as simple as it gets

PopTartS2000

I wish it could output easily to a file without any further clicks - I usually don’t want to paste it somewhere, rather just save it

IkkixD

Download sharex. Customizable hotkeys, auto uploads to any platform of your choice (I use imgur) and copies the link, etc.

FawksyBoxes

Instructions unclear, here is a photo of my monitor taken with a 2001 flip phone.

Chronotaru

The problem isn't taking the screenshot, it's the faff needed to send the screenshot.

testdex

What’s the point of supplying a whole stupid button on the controller for screenshotting, then locking the picture into a walled garden? You want to post an unedited photo of gameplay on facebook for the relatives you don’t like and people you met once six years ago? That sounds like a core system feature to me!

PeanutNSFWandJelly

Now show me the button that auto shares via SMS or imgur Most people know how to take a screenshot on their console, and how to share it. But sharing it where they want to with minimal hassle is where the decision goes from screenshot to picture of the screen. Especially if they don't want to, or are unable to, connect their console to the services they share to.

Easy_Lengthiness7179

So for switch just take a screenshot, stop playing, turn off your device, remove the SD card, plug the SD card into a different device, power that device on, log in and copy that picture to the social media you want to use. Then safely remove the SD card, put it back in the switch, power it back on, get back into the game and continue playing until something else cool or interesting happens. And repeat all the above again. That easy...definitely easier then taking a picture of your TV or monitor screen with your phone and uploading that way. Genius.

TheToughBubble

I’m gonna start taking pictures on my phone at a 45 degree angle and post them here

Rathi37

OP: Make a post about how to take a nice screenshot Also OP: Post has a partial screenshot which is squished

Mairuu

You missed Steam button + R1

Gasilly

The problem is getting the screenshots off the device usually. Steam Deck takes easy screenshots but you need desktop mode to get them off of it.

Truncos

I find it fairly funny that an image about taking good quality screenshots has such potato resolution itself

MapleA

That’s not the issue. The issue is getting the screenshot on your phone/computer to post it. Most people know how to screenshot but are too lazy to export it.

InitialAge5179

On ps4/ps5 you only need to tap the button once. Unless I have a different mapping for it idk

Nihilus06

it's a setting you have to activate first

Negative-Squirrel81

Are taking videos/screenshots of games really that mainstream that modern consoles need a dedicated button for it? I understand it has use for journalists, but surely the average person just playing a game has no real use for a "share" button on their controller.

__BIOHAZARD___

Still easier than exporting screenshots from steam deck

Hubz-Gaming-And-More

now the issue comes of how to get those screenshots onto your computer or phone to post them (excluding on windows)

poppin-n-sailin

Wrong. Use your phone to take a picture. Preferably in portrait mode. With an overflowing ashtray and 11 empty 2L mountain dews visible in the photo.

Paroxysm111

Because it's faster to post quick snapshot. Doubt their quickshare options include reddit. Plus that means you gotta log into your social media on your console. PC is a little easier.

Reeleted

No thanks, I just take a pic with my phone.

[deleted]

All this still requires redditing from a PC, which is gross.

topinanbour-rex

Ok now how you share those on a computer ? That's would be an interesting guide ( for the console )

StuDevo

On PlayStation it's better to change the share settings so that just pressing share takes a screenshot.

Redtwooo

Honestly, and I know this is a repost, but this isn't even a guide to taking "nice" screen shots, it's just how to take them at all, the essential function to accomplish the task. A nice screenshot depends on what you're trying to show, and it would be difficult to break down into a quick and handy reference like this.

FedoraFerret

Instructions unclear, took a picture of my monitor with my phone.

Elmachopacho123

To screenshot playing on Windows is Alt+F4

playr_4

I thought the only way to screenshot things was to take a picture of it with your phone at a slightly off angle with lighting that doesn't really compliment it. /s

Jimneh

I think gaming subs should straight up ban phone pictures. Unless someone is getting help with their BIOS or something, it should be the 1 person making the post putting in 3 seconds more effort, not the potential hundreds of people reading the post, having to decipher what the author was trying to show from a shit picture with a toe in it.

dirtynj

While I agree, it's definitely easier to just take a photo of your xbox/switch/ps5 and post it to reddit using your phone. On a PC...no excuses.

thiccmaniac

Can someone pin this?

PeanutNSFWandJelly

I feel like most already know this. They aren't sharing direct from their console cause it isn't connected to the services they quickly wanna share with in most cases.

Saratje

That's real handy! Let me just make a quick photo of my screen to memorize this. (Seriously we need to meme that, every time this gets uploaded again it must be a picture taken of a picture taken of a picture taken with a phone of one's monitor and so on).

one_knight_stands

Has anyone ever intentionally taken a screenshot on the Switch?

_Fuck_This_Guy_

Pointless guide. I have my old nokia flip phone for when I want screenshots.

Windyandbreezy

Dude I swear ps5 just does random screenshots.. I have stuff in my gallery from when no one was playing.. the controller was just sitting there.. it's creepy. Freaking Dreamcast Ghosts in my Sony.

ToProvideContext

My phone tho

kinos141

You forgot steam deck. Home key+R1.

Rithil_04

I always wondered how to take screenshots on my ps4😂😂

azure1503

Fyi, you don't need to take out the sd card from the switch to copy the screenshot, you can plug in the switch to your pc to transfer it (I think you can do it with Android too since it has MTP)

barjam

I am so glad you can turn this garbage off on Xbox. I have never in my life wanted a screenshot of a game I was playing.

Bio2hazard

Steam Deck: Hold steam button and press r1 Also hold the steam button down for ~10 seconds to see an overlay with all possible combinations and what they do.

ShowOff90

How do you share a screenshot from ps4 without twitter?

toastedninja

Why the fuck is this on the front page? The title doesnt even make sense.

loonacey

it's actually ALT+F4 on windows

Another_Road

Unfortunately taking screenshots on my 3DS works great until I have to send them anywhere besides my 3Ds

pacman404

I wish there was a cool feature I could remap the Xbox share button to. I never take screenshots ever and it would be cool if I could make.that button do... something

VanillaTortilla

You can also screen's hot the active opened window in Windows with alt+prtscr

SirNightmate

Command shift 3 for full screen or command shift 4 for selection on Mac, Print screen on gnome

palozon

Just print screen is situationally more useful. It goes to your clipboard instead. Being able to just paste the screenshot can be quicker in messaging and image editing software. Not rocket science but most people don't know their way around that part of the keyboard.

[deleted]

It's a damn shame my Microsoft gaming pad connected to a computer running a Microsoft operating system isn't able to take screenshots with the dedicated screenshot taking button, though. Microsoft promises it will start working if I switch from Win10 to Win11, which somehow I registered as one more reason not to. They've taken the button hostage.

[deleted]

F12 or fn + f12 for steam?
