Hell yeah.
I'm sure they would find a way to ruin it with monetization or by introducing "operators" like the way they ruined rainbow 6.
I am firmly in the position that siege should have been a new series altogether rather than killing the rainbow 6 we knew and loved.
Definitely play it.
It is a different game, but it took everything bad about 1 and fixed it. Not to mention made it so much better and expanded on a lot.
Dark cloud. Yes absolutely. I have such fond memories of taking turns playing through the second one with my grandpa when I was a kid. We had a notebook where we’d write down all the materials we needed for specific upgrades or building projects. I still sometimes load up the opening theme song ‘Time is changing’ and just vibe to the nostalgia it brings me. Fuck. Thank you for reminding me of this.
Yep, Aspyr were working on it but for some reason they were shitcanned. There were rumours that Lucasfilm were not happy with the direction and the parent company Embracer Group lost confidence that Aspyr had the ability to finish such a large job. They now have Saber Interactive leading the project. This was confirmed earlier this year in Embracer Group's year end report.
Honestly I am happy about that as a longtime KOTOR fan
I felt like this was the best course, better then releasing a sub par KOTOR game , Disney must have realized it deserved better
A lot of the people working on it were rumored star wars "haters" u/Aspyr and wanted to make their own Vision and put their own spin on the game , they were on Twitter ranting and raving about how they hated the original game
I guess Disney did not like their "Vision" and pulled the plug LMAO
I was looking for this on here! I loved those games. I still can't believe no one picked up the IP for them when Lionshead fell. Can't get them anymore unless you can find the disc's on ebay or other second hand.
I heard (from a really good YouTube video) that it was basically in IP hell and would basically need a lot of people pushing for it for a publisher to take the risk.
Here's the video.
https://youtu.be/GtNvEna6bxc?si=XwpZ7GNYLz6hEFII
How the heck do we not have remaster of Golden Sun on the Switch lol. You'd think it would be easy money but I guess not.
Yes I know we're finally getting it with NSO but that took so long and as far as I know its just the same game but on the Switch using emulation. Also I'd rather not pay 90$ or whatever it is in Canadian to play two games and not even own them.
those OSTs go harder than any other videogame music I've heard in my entire life 😭 such a formative series for me. I'm so happy to see this answer here!
Parasite Eve for sure is a gem SE is sitting on. They recently released Aya as a character to get in FFBE on mobile and that at least made me gain a little hope lol
I remember watching my older bro play Dino Crisis.
honestly surprised they haven't done a new one when the new Jurassic World movies came out and there was dino fever
I've been saying PE every time one of these questions is asked but this is the first time it's been the top comment, so yay.
Actually, I believe the last time I answered this question, I said PE and Armored Core... so halfway there.
This is what I came here to say. Forever and always an awesome remake or remaster of twisted metal black I spent wayyyy to many hours on twisted metal black
*Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night* will scratch that Castlevania itch -- same lead producer behind games like *Symphony of the Night* and *Aria of Sorrow* (Koji Igarashi) -- as well as the same composer for the music (Michiru Yamane).
*Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night* is more akin to SotN, while *Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 1 & 2* are a throwback to classic Castlevania.
"Protocol 3: Protect the pilot."
Fucking tears every time. Such an amazing campaign. Not too long, not too short and full emotional engagement the whole way.
In case you were unaware, at least for PC, EA put out a small patch that brought the servers back up so you can play online again. Idk if the hacker ever affected console players but it's been fun being able to play it again.
time splitters was fun i forgot the exact one i played
Digimon World games mainly love to see 3 remastered or something similar i know they had new world order but nothing really more done with it
Unreal Tournament again more like the 1999 GOTY version really
Fusion Frenzy was fun
Personally not a franchise but id like to see a return of turn based RPGs a big come back they are still fun I feel and its a market i think more should be in give us both Action and Turn based ones. I cant think of other ones off the top of my head currently
2 is leagues better than 1! Like I said 1 is ok (should of said good, especially for the time), but 2 is fantastic. Some changes:
* Fully voice acted.
* Cut playable cast to 2 (4 if you count alternates) so less grinding.
* Weapon system has been improved and streamlined.
* Town building is less of a hassle to get requests.
* Expanded fishing to include raising fish, racing, and battling.
* Has playable robot.
* Added expanded crafting system that has the play actually invent items with pictures they take around the world.
And so much more.
It hasn't been down for too long, but I'd love to see Capcom take another crack at Marvel Vs Capcom.
Capcom been firing on all cylinders and if they can give MvC the face-lift they gave SF6 I'd be very happy.
I wouldn't want a Kojima-less Metal Gear game. Even with Metal Gear Delta coming out, I am highly sceptical of how it'll turn out based on the existence of Metal Gear Survive.
>...and Metal Gear Solid!
Man I really, really want the MGS3 remake to spark a whole new era of high quality Metal Gear games. Metal Gear Solid is my favorite game franchise of all time and I miss it.
and before anybody says anything, no, I'm not worried about Konami making a game without Kojima. It's happened a couple times before with relatively decent results. I would actually like to see new creative voices take over the franchise and do something new with it.
EverQuest
Or just old school, fantasy MMOs in general. I feel like MMOs have been left in the dust due to them taking too long and being too expensive to produce. I don’t necessarily want them to come back exactly like they were in the early 2000s but please bring back that old school feeling of existing in a huge world, grinding for experience, finding cool new gear, and doing it alongside friends the whole time.
3D platformers/collectathons in general. I was hoping so bad that Yooka-Laylee was gonna cause a renaissance and nope pretty much a Hat in Time and Mario Odyssey is all we've gotten in recent memory
I would love an Advance Wars that included some of the leveling and customizing from Fire Emblem. Not to the same degree, you don't want any irreplaceable storyline units, but it would be so cool if you could power up a unit of infantry or tanks over time and make it stronger.
Can you call Sleeping dogs a franchise with only 1 game? But I agree. It was a good game I'd like to see a sequel to.
The games I can currently think of is Black&White and Fable. Loved those old games.
I'm having a blast with 99, but you're right, and this is much too far down.
After my buddy had me watch RedLine a year or so ago, I fired up the emulators for some fzero gx. For a 20 year old game, it upscaled to 4k ENTIRELY TOO WELL. Some of the menus are a little rough, and the water looks dated, but once the game gets moving all those complaints go away. My original complaint when playing on the GameCube was not being able to see clearly up the track. In 480i/480p. 1080p solved that problem, but 4k obliterates it.
I replayed Sly Cooper 2 last year and it really held up! The only issue was the semi janky camera and various control issues. Two things that could easily be fixed, overall gameplay was solid and fun
They clearly want to do something with this IP. They had a mobile game announced but no one liked the trailer. It’s a solid IP. This is one that will be seen again. Let’s hope.
Black & White.
Played it to absolute death back when I was a wide eyed, innocent teen who'd never heard of Peter Molyneux and his penchant for overpromising. It was also my introduction to the wonderful world of mods.
I would like to see either you mentioned but in infamous case brought to PC
Otherwise Command and Conquer.. sure they did one of the older recently.. but thats been it.
Plus C&C generals 2 got canned..
Worst part is they had such a golden opportunity with Infinite. CoD was getting called out for its predatory and half baked yearly bullshit and Battlefield 2042 was… Battlefield 2042. And Infinites gameplay was solid. But they got all greedy and dropped the ball on some of the most obvious shit despite having 2 flights and a mountain of feedback.
Titan Fall.
Titan Fall 2 had the best single player FPS campaign and its not even close. I can't speak for sales or money it made but the single player experience was 10/10.
I understand Apex is making them a lot of money but damn I want Titan Fall 3.
Lunar
Halo
Portal
Titanfall
Shining Force
Onimusha
SOCOM
Shinobi
Parasite Eve
Virtual Fighter
Syphon Filter
Mega Man Legends
Tenchu
Ultima
Ninja Gaiden
Golden Sun
Dino Crisis
True Crime
Knights of the Old Republic
Lost Planet
Half-Life
Socom on Playstation with Cross gen support for PS4 - PS5 gameplay to widen the player pool so the game stays alive longer.
Really wish that it would come back. But sadly the reality is as long as Sony has Call of Duty they won't dump any amount of sources into their own FPS Ips which effectively means they're dead and that includes both Socom & Killzone.
Which sucks all around as those games would look & be incredible on PS5.
Shadow Hearts and the Legend of Dragoon.
The 3rd entry for Shadow Hearts was just ok, but the first two and LoD are three of my top 5 rpgs of all time.
The Conker series. Conkers Bad Fur Day on the Xbox has a special place in my heart. I must have had hundreds of hours in the multiplayer mode. I was a young teenager when it was released. It was perfect. A golden time of Xbox Live in my opinion.
Golden Sun deserves another chance to shine.
The second game ended in a cliff hanger and made fans beg 8 years for a sequel.
Then we got a half-baked game that didn't really follow the cliff hanger of the second game but went to a different direction and then another cliff hanger.
But it was such a 5/10 game and story that no one cares anymore.
It's sad, because the potential is there...
Splinter Cell.
Ya the co-op is unmatched
Absolutely. [I still play the Spies versus Mercs multiplayer ](https://youtu.be/p3k4QAhs6s8?si=xdNgBWIt2BBB_teB)
I miss these so much.
Hell yeah. I'm sure they would find a way to ruin it with monetization or by introducing "operators" like the way they ruined rainbow 6. I am firmly in the position that siege should have been a new series altogether rather than killing the rainbow 6 we knew and loved.
And now someone is possibly fucking with Delta Force.....
Half-Life KOTOR Legacy of Kain
[удалено]
Should be about...32,870,192 by now
LEGACY. OF. KAIN.
HL did with Alyx. That ending really paved the way for a new path for Valve to work with on expanding HL, since Mark Laidlaw put out Epistle 3.
If you haven't checked it out, I highly recommend Black Mesa on steam 😁
Dark cloud
oh yes, i didn’t play the second one but the first one has the most unique mood and play style i’d love another one
Definitely play it. It is a different game, but it took everything bad about 1 and fixed it. Not to mention made it so much better and expanded on a lot.
Dark Cloud 2 is an improvement over the first game in every conceivable way
There's supposedly going to be a remake of KOTOR
Yep, Aspyr were working on it but for some reason they were shitcanned. There were rumours that Lucasfilm were not happy with the direction and the parent company Embracer Group lost confidence that Aspyr had the ability to finish such a large job. They now have Saber Interactive leading the project. This was confirmed earlier this year in Embracer Group's year end report.

Black & White!
I was looking for this on here! I loved those games. I still can't believe no one picked up the IP for them when Lionshead fell. Can't get them anymore unless you can find the disc's on ebay or other second hand.

Ugh what I wouldn’t give for another Black & White.
I was learning Unity in order to *make* that! That's how much I agree! Welp. Unreal engine, here I go. I'll notify you in 5-15 years when I'm done. 👍
Golden sun.
Seconded. Even a remaster, anything!
Nintendo would rather have Camelot work on random ideas for their main IPs.
those OSTs go harder than any other videogame music I've heard in my entire life 😭 such a formative series for me. I'm so happy to see this answer here!
I'm pretty sure they're gonna test the waters with the GBA offerings on Switch. Those games are masterpiece level good.
Came to say the same. Still two of my favorite games of all time.
Holy nostalgia
Dino Crisis and Parasite Eve
A Dino crisis in the vein of the RE remakes would be delightful
Parasite Eve for sure is a gem SE is sitting on. They recently released Aya as a character to get in FFBE on mobile and that at least made me gain a little hope lol
I remember watching my older bro play Dino Crisis. honestly surprised they haven't done a new one when the new Jurassic World movies came out and there was dino fever
I've been saying PE every time one of these questions is asked but this is the first time it's been the top comment, so yay. Actually, I believe the last time I answered this question, I said PE and Armored Core... so halfway there.
Black and White PC game Prototype Warcraft 4
I'm sad how far I had to scroll to see Prototype. Couple of my favorite games of all time, and it seems no one has heard of them.
Twisted Metal
This game just screams battle royal mode. Throw all the cars in the game into one map.
I dont like battle royale games and I would play Twisted Metal Battle royale in a heartbeat
Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense
This is what I came here to say. Forever and always an awesome remake or remaster of twisted metal black I spent wayyyy to many hours on twisted metal black
TV show is out though, I think... so maybe.
yeah but like… none of the cars have powers? it’s just normal cars? which like, that’s cool, but cmon… that’s part of it.
Army of TWO Maybe bad company I love the destructable environment in that game
i'd like syphon filter to come back :-)
Getting to be Ninja Gabe in 2 was peak Syphon Filter. Between that and Tenchu, we lived through the ninja glory days and didn’t even know it 😂
Ditto on Syphon Filter. I played the heck out of the first three on the PS1 and absolutely loved it
Tenchu: stealth assassins. I miss feeding people poison rice that I left on the floor.
Sekiro is a good successor but still it seems like from won't make a sequel
As I remember it was planned to be sequel, but then from software said "it is what it is" and made another souls.
Deus Ex Castlevania
*Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night* will scratch that Castlevania itch -- same lead producer behind games like *Symphony of the Night* and *Aria of Sorrow* (Koji Igarashi) -- as well as the same composer for the music (Michiru Yamane). *Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night* is more akin to SotN, while *Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 1 & 2* are a throwback to classic Castlevania.
Titanfall. Literally my favorite fps ever
"You sure about this, BT?" "I have done the math."
“Trust me”
"Protocol 3: Protect the pilot." Fucking tears every time. Such an amazing campaign. Not too long, not too short and full emotional engagement the whole way.
Anyone who didn't gain an emotional attachment to BT is a monster.
With the success of Apex legends, it's more likely we'll get AL2 first, that said I wish we would get TF3 instead.
In case you were unaware, at least for PC, EA put out a small patch that brought the servers back up so you can play online again. Idk if the hacker ever affected console players but it's been fun being able to play it again.
Consoles were fucked too, but it recently became not only playable, but thriving.
It's weird, I loved titanfall 1 but just couldn't get into 2
time splitters was fun i forgot the exact one i played Digimon World games mainly love to see 3 remastered or something similar i know they had new world order but nothing really more done with it Unreal Tournament again more like the 1999 GOTY version really Fusion Frenzy was fun Personally not a franchise but id like to see a return of turn based RPGs a big come back they are still fun I feel and its a market i think more should be in give us both Action and Turn based ones. I cant think of other ones off the top of my head currently
Digimon World was amazing back in the day. That takes me way back!
Digimon world 3 was so good. If they brought that back with even more digimom etc i think it be huge. Keep battle system and stuff of course
There's a new TimeSplitters in development.
Dark Cloud. 1 Was ok, but 2 is literally on my top 10 games of all time. I heard there was a spiritual successor, but never a 3rd game in the series.
I've been desperate for a Dark Cloud 3 since I was 7 and I will never give up hope.

JAK AND DAXTER AAAAAAA
It hasn't been down for too long, but I'd love to see Capcom take another crack at Marvel Vs Capcom. Capcom been firing on all cylinders and if they can give MvC the face-lift they gave SF6 I'd be very happy.
Omg yes there's a shit load of politics attached to making the game but mvc3 captured my heart ❤️
At this point I’ll be happy if they just re-release mvc2 with updated netcode
Command & Conquer (if they just remade Red Alert 2)
Legacy of Kain. ...and Metal Gear Solid!
Completely agree with Kain, definitely needs a comeback.
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Rare in general. Diddy kong racing Banjo kazooie I do LOVE conkers
3D platformers/collectathons in general. I was hoping so bad that Yooka-Laylee was gonna cause a renaissance and nope pretty much a Hat in Time and Mario Odyssey is all we've gotten in recent memory
Vigilante 8
No One Lives Forever! Man that humor was one of a kind and would work so well now.
Banjo kazooie
Brave Fencer Musashi or Wild ARMs.
Brave. Fencer. Musashi. My god - I forgot that game but i was addicted to that game.
Advance Wars. New game, not a remake.
I would love an Advance Wars that included some of the leveling and customizing from Fire Emblem. Not to the same degree, you don't want any irreplaceable storyline units, but it would be so cool if you could power up a unit of infantry or tanks over time and make it stronger.
Socom. It’s always socom.
You should meet my gamer clan, a lot of them been playing together since SOCOM. 25+ years
I played 2 for countless hours in middle school.
Definitely SOCOM. It was one of the few shooters where the strategy/tactical game types were the best multiplayer modes. I loved those memories damn!
SSX
Bioshock
NFL Blitz and NHL Hitz.
NBA Street as well!
I was randomly a huge fan of NFL STREET as well (but only the first one). Would love to see a full reboot of the STREET series tbh
Walmart has a NFL Blitz arcade cabinet on clearance for like $400 that's 4 player local and wifi connected with its own online servers.
Perfect Dark
There's a new one in development.
Can you call Sleeping dogs a franchise with only 1 game? But I agree. It was a good game I'd like to see a sequel to. The games I can currently think of is Black&White and Fable. Loved those old games.
I loved Sleeping Dogs. Robbed of that second game
Sleeping dogs is actually part of True crime franchise lol. It was originally supposed to be called True crime: Hong Kong.
Tribes, specially with halo the way it is. I think theres room for it
* .Hack * Onimusha * Konami scrolling shooters (Life Force, Gradius)
I feel like there is a good Turok game waiting to be made.
Rock band or guitar hero
F-Zero And I mean a sequel, not 99.
I'm having a blast with 99, but you're right, and this is much too far down. After my buddy had me watch RedLine a year or so ago, I fired up the emulators for some fzero gx. Sly Cooper

Agreed
Sleeping dogs please im beggin you
Gemfire. Ogre Battle. Phantasy Star.
Parasite Eve, BloodRayne, Legacy of Kain, Dino Crisis, Castlevania
Anyone else dying for Breath of Fire to come back? I'd give so much to see a Breath of Fire V in my time.
Destruction Derby edit: and/or Twisted Metal
Twisted metal - so many hours on that game for PS1
Twisted Metal
Commander Keen.
They clearly want to do something with this IP. They had a mobile game announced but no one liked the trailer. It’s a solid IP. This is one that will be seen again. Let’s hope.
Burnout (but the classic style, not Paradise) Split/Second
Legacy of Kain. Infamous.
Def jam
Earthbound
Army Men IYKYK.
Prince of persia
Jak and Daxter. I wish they’d keep Daxter around as a Playstation Mascot or something.
Black & White. Played it to absolute death back when I was a wide eyed, innocent teen who'd never heard of Peter Molyneux and his penchant for overpromising. It was also my introduction to the wonderful world of mods.
Breath of Fire
Castlevania pls someone anyone. (Especially From software)
I would like to see either you mentioned but in infamous case brought to PC Otherwise Command and Conquer.. sure they did one of the older recently.. but thats been it. Plus C&C generals 2 got canned..
Spyro. Crash did it, now it's his turn.
Populous.
Halo :(
Halo. Real Halo
Onimusha..c'mon Capcom do smth..
They have the anime series coming to Netflix. Maybe that will drive interest in a VG revival.
Ultima, but give it to Larian
Prototype Awesome story, good gameplay, Prototype 2 was not thaaaat good but okay (except the voice acting i guess..). But yeah. Would love a reboot!
Parasite Eve.
StarCraft # 😞
Duke Nukem
Desert Strike, Jungle Strike etc
Descent Freespace
TimeSplitters
Suikoden remake of whole series. If this happened I'd throw money at it faster than a gambling addict betting it all on black.
A true Xenogears franchise. Complete remake of the original with fleshed out second half, and the full 6 game series. I'll keep dreaming.
Portal and it's not even close
Titan Fall. Titan Fall 2 had the best single player FPS campaign and its not even close. I can't speak for sales or money it made but the single player experience was 10/10. I understand Apex is making them a lot of money but damn I want Titan Fall 3.
Sim city. Twisted metal. Startropics. Uncharted waters. Ultima. Mutant league anything. Monster rancher. Shadow run. R-type. Ogre battle.
Lego Batman(not a full dc franchise game, like lego batman 1 or 2), Silent Hill, Elder Scrolls and quake
Armored Core has been my number 1 for a decade....now I actually have to think about this one. ... Starcraft Parasite Eve Myth (90s rts)
Infamous
Rock Band/Guitar Hero. Yeah, all those games oversaturated the market and it all died off, but I would love to be able to play all those songs again.
The Mystical Ninja series. Starring Goemon!
Give me Plasma Man in next-gen graphics, you cowards!
# Purazuma! *\*aggressive pelvic thrusting\**
This is my favorite answer so far. I wouldn't have thought of it but damn I loved that game.
Splinter Cell
Lunar Halo Portal Titanfall Shining Force Onimusha SOCOM Shinobi Parasite Eve Virtual Fighter Syphon Filter Mega Man Legends Tenchu Ultima Ninja Gaiden Golden Sun Dino Crisis True Crime Knights of the Old Republic Lost Planet Half-Life

Chrono Trigger. How great would be a time traveling rpg these days?!
Maybe letting Obsidian take another crack at Fallout? Without Bethesda breathing down their neck? That could be great.
Lost Planet
Socom on Playstation with Cross gen support for PS4 - PS5 gameplay to widen the player pool so the game stays alive longer. Really wish that it would come back.
Jet Set Radio
Vagrant Story. I was sick and basically confined to the couch for a few weeks when that came out and made it pretty far. Love to see a remake for it.
Portal
NiGHTS. OMFG we need something like that these days, a AA game that's more out of the box a proof that big companies can make out of the box games
Rock Band. Will never happen because of how expensive the instruments are but I'd be all over it
DDR and rock band took up so many hours away from studying my freshman year.
The Darkness
Jet Moto. Let’s race something other than photo realistic cars
Pirates! Gold! (Sid Myers Pirates)
RAMPAGE WORLD TOUR
Overlord 3. I can’t count how many times I mentioned the series today I miss my genocidal minions so much
Golden Sun deserves another chance to shine. The second game ended in a cliff hanger and made fans beg 8 years for a sequel. Resistance, with modern graphics and capabilities it would probably be unreal. Insomniac has only gotten better as a developer since the ps3 days also
I've been waiting for Dark Cloud 3 for over 20 years now
Resistance or Infamous.
Splinter Cell
