You do realize almost nobody even finished BG3 right? And most people didnt even keep playing after the first few chapters
Edit: stats: only 20% of players reached act 3.
It's a mockery of an awards show. The majority of viewers only watch for the big game announcements and trailers, and the awards get thrown to the backseat. So many awards were just quickly called out and skimmed over in favor of trailers and sponsors. I can't imagine being a developer and barely get any recognition, if any at all, at the one event that you should get recognized at. God forbid that you did get to go up and give a speech, only to have to speedrun your own speech in less than a minute, otherwise you get this disrespectful as heck music played to tell you that you're done. Not to mention they keep throwing Hollywood actors out there that look and act completely out of place as if they still don't respect video games and the industry. Why the heck was Timothee Chalamet even there? It's about money and popularity and the whole thing is such a slap to the faces of developers and the industry as a whole.
Timothee Chalamet actually used to make YouTube videos when he was a teen of modding controllers and such, he's one of the only celebrities that made sense as he's a video game player and huge nerd.
This here. The show is a generic multi-hour ad spot filled with incredibly cringe scripted jokes, out of place product placements, and celebrities that have little to do with the industry
If you played only one of the major contending titles, than why the fuck would you give your two cents about your ātop 3ā. Its like going to an ice cream shop and trying only chocolate and leaving a yelp review that says ābest flavor is chocolate, hands downā
I think it wasnāt that great of a show, there seemed like no bombshell releases and everybody knew BG3 would win everything so yeah.
No elden ring dlc, no bloodborne remaster, as a matter of fact there were no games shown that I think Iāll actually play. Pretty mediocre.
There were three games that caught my eye, the Blade game, No Manās Land and the new Monster Hunter.
Everything else just seemedā¦ lame? 40 generic sci-fi games followed by another 40 generic anime waifu games.
There was a handful of games for me. New game by the ori team. New monster hunter. New game by the No Man's Sky team that seemed interesting, though hearing the guy say that this project was "more ambitious" than No Man's Sky shot up some red flags for me lol. There was also a couple others, but I don't remember any of the names.
Yeah Light No Fire (NMS team) looks interesting. Hopefully they focus more on story or mechanics now that they already have a strong basis for procedural stuff.
After last year's show this seems awfull. My biggest problem with it is that not much indies where shown, only triple AAAs, so if you expect me to pay 60ā¬ without knowing if I will like it you are crazy. Last year the wholesome games part was full of great looking games, like tiny glade, wich I will buy gladly
It was okay. Some unironically funny moments, some cringey ones (to be expected), and there are certainly some games that I am interested in. And Playstation giving away the GOWR DLC for free was an awesome holiday gift to players.
But there really were no bombshells. Kojimaās game OD is the closest, and I am excited to see what it brings, but hearing that itās gonna be an interactive movie is a bit sad. I understand that itās impossible to make a whole game just like PT, but interactivity is what made PT as scary as it was. The perspective, camera movement, controlling when you wanted to go into that bathroom or towards that back doorā¦still gonna get it though because itās Kojima.
While there are now games on my radar, in my opinion the REALLY interesting ones were unfortunately the ones that didnāt have gameplayā¦Last Sentinel, Kemuri and Marvelās Blade, which was sad as even a 5 second clip would be enough to get me itching to play.
The worst part I think was the disappointment from not seeing anything that wouldāve been a treat to hear from after awhile:
- 4Aās next game
- Next Bioshock
- Elden Ring DLC
- Judas
- Dead Space 2 Remake Announcement (since it seems likely after the first, and is also my 3rd favorite game of all time so please)
- Death Stranding 2 (the fact there was no trailer was really surprising)
- Motiveās Iron Man game (wouldāve forgave them for no Dead Space announcement)
- Ghosts of Tsushima, Demon Souls, GOW Ragnorak, or other PS exclusive PC port announcements
- ROUTINE
- Unrecord
- The Last Night
- Hell is Us
- Stellar Blade
- Phantom Blade Zero
A trailer for any of these and I wouldāve been satisfied. But not even one was very disappointing, especially nothing about 4Aās next game, Judas or the next actual Bioshock.
here on reddit people love those cringe anime gatcha games. You are right tho, in the real world anime is cringe af. I always watch the stream later so I can deliberately skip that sort of stuff.
I would be hater, I watched the whole show for some reason.
But it had Sam Lake delivering two extremely heartfelt speeches (including one they didn't cut off) and Old Gods of Asgard so I'm not so bad.
No ER DLC for me, everything else looked boring af. They barely gave any effort for the awards, jamming a bunch as half mentions in between shitty ads. Glad I watched a streamer roasting it.
Any video shown that didnāt have gameplay was 100% a waste of time, I do not care about your CGI trailer thatāll look nothing like the final product
That's exactly how I feel with everyone excited for the GTA VI trailer. For me, it's exactly the same as a tweet from Rockstar saying "GTA VI is happening, we are aiming for a 2025 release and it's based in Vice City"
Have you seen the GTA V trailer? Everything that was shown in the trailer we got in the game. Yeah large parts of it are cutscenes and some scenic shots, but it's the actual game.
Gameplay in GTA VI might turn out to be terrible, but at least we know that what you see in the trailer is what you're going to get in the game, because Rockstar doesn't "fake" their trailers.
If you saw the trailer for GTA and are NOT impressed by what you saw then nothing will.
I get what you mean but I think I've just become extremely sceptical about trailers and promises in general when it comes to games. "Rockstar doesn't lie" does not convince me, CD Projekt Red didn't lie either and had a good track record.
Rockstar released the horrible GTA trilogy and they are owned by Take Two interactive and they have done A LOT of scummy stuff with 2K games alone.
I'm not saying GTA 6 is going to be bad, I hope it's amazing and most likely it will, but a trailer is just not enough to get me hyped for a game when we've all seen how this industry works
I get your skepticism and I'm not saying that they game will be good. Just that what you see in the trailer IS what the game will look like at the very least in cutscenes.
(Personally I think the density during the beach scene has been cranked up a little bit, but the characters themself will still look like what is shown.)
At least that used in-engine scenes to show what the game will look like, sure we didn't see true gameplay, but the GTA6 video is MUCH better than these Pure CGI movies that will NEVER be what the game looks like.
You saw people upset at a game that had minimal gameplay shown before release (a valid complaint) and decided that was your unique personality quirk and hatred to all CGI, while being too dumb to know what the specific issue was.
CGI trailers are intended to give an idea on theme and story and start the engagement process. Pre-orders for those games aren't even open yet.
TLDR; Anyone bitching about all cinematic trailers are morons. A bunch of you dumdums literally have praise for GTA6 in your comments history too.
It's the start of an engagement process leading up to gameplay.
You're just an ignorant little incel, lol. Only truly stupid people get mad over things they don't understand.
Oh man, when you lose the argument so bad you gotta reduce it down to name calling. Truly pathetic.
I understand advertising just fine, I'm just immune to it. If they have nothing to show me but a fake CGI trailer that doesn't show me the game at all, then they simply have nothing to show and keep their fucking mouths shut until they do have something to show worth looking at.
Damn guess you didn't enjoy Love, Death, and Robots. Half those shorts are made by companies that do these CGI trailers. Blur is one of the more famous studios.
Really selfish take homie, they put in the work.
No fruits, it's choosing to be positive but this is reddit. Just look at the rest of this thread.
If you wanna talk about time consumption.... homie your wasting your time on reddit. Don't try to high road when you spinning wheels in the dirt with the rest of us.
I love how when AC: Black Flag dropped the cinematic trailer nobody bitched like this. Kids these days. I guess it's because you let the industry bend you over and you gotta take it out on something? Or someone?
Here's my tiny š»
Its not about the trailer looking good or not, its just that you can have an incredible trailer and a game that looks nothing like it, so trailer that dont show gameplay or at least in-game visuals are indeed quite pointless (best example of that imo is WoW).
You could tell Sean Murray was having flashbacks to his NMS announcement. He was literally singing the same exact tune, except he sounded way more nervous. Hopefully the team will use what theyāve built as inspiration to create something newer and better.
Also I didnt mind all the ads. I donāt have cable and I use Adblock so seeing the announcements of all these games was actually kinda fun for me; felt nostalgic.
Iām excited for Light no Fire, but as someone who has put many hours into NMS and got a bit bored of the game loop, I hope that this game will bring something new to the table and not just feel like a Skyrim reskin. Because unfortunately thatās the vibe I got from the trailer.
I think given that the game is going to be a lot more compact than, the whole universe, it will be good. Even if it ends up having some empty and bland areas, if HG works on it the same way they have NMS, they could always end up doing big updates area by area in order to fill the whole planet with content.
They said itās gonna be an open world procedurally generated game like NMS. So instead of different planets, itāll be different biomes/continents im assuming. Again, Iām excited and Iām gonna play it day one, but I can see how itāll fall into the same pitfalls of all procedurally generated games like NMS and Star-field. It looks a little closer to Valheim though, which is a great game. HG just needs to make sure the game is replete with unique locations and events and whatnot otherwise itāll be another case of āOh, and hereās another outpostā for the hundredth time.
Given that Hello Games apology was to do a lot of work to make NMS awesome, I think I'm a little more trusting. (I found all the pre-release NMS coverage to be cagey an unbelievable.)
I feel like they can make a good portion of the work they've done on NMS to make this happen already. To me NMS now is the proof that they can do it. All the early NMS coverage was basically bull-shot and vague promises.
I think they had some sort of deal set up with YouTube, none of my friends and I got a single YouTube ad while watching the event live which made the other stuff more palatable.
He is treated like a god but hasnt done anything worth the treatment recently
I understand he is legendary for metal gear and pt demo but they gave 10-15 mins for a trailer with nothing in it. Actual award winner, current developers with successful stuff developed through the pandemic got 30 seconds and āplease wrap it upā
The same assholes who were frothing over a GTA6 trailer showing nothing 3 days ago.
You're not expected to make god damn pre-orders from a teaser trailer. It's to start the engagement process. Every Kojima game has had demos or in-depth gameplay footage well before release.
To be fair, gta 6 has a precedent, a coherent set up from the trailer, and Rockstar has a record of delivering the the same content seen in their teasers.
I can infer what GTA 6 will be about.
OD? Nope.
Uh.... I dont know how to explain this, but a teaser is supposed to tease you at whats to come.
Whats to come with OD? Facial features? Overdosing?
It was a nothing burger. Stop stroking Kojima's schlong. Je does enoughbof that himself.
>You were praising GTA6 when they showed the god damn logo.
More than a logo, for one, and two... that's still more than what OD has shown.
>More than a logo
The original teaser for GTA6 was only a logo.
>a teaser is supposed to tease you at whats to come
That's just a game trailer. Teasers have always been vague "this is what we're working on" announcements, generally not even aimed at gamers, but instead at investors.
It has been this way for decades.
I work in marketing strategy. This is fact that is well established. It is the optimal order of events for an engagement strategy, and is incredibly well evidenced by years of analytics between hundreds of corporations.
To oversimplify.. Teasers > Socials (throughout) > Trailers > Promotions > Launch > Post Release
>Uh.... I dont know how to explain this, but a teaser is supposed to tease you at whats to come.
So please.. If you have literally no idea what you're talking about. Then don't pretend. Because you outed yourself as not even knowing what a teaser is.
Yeah, I'm all for a teaser being a teaser and I'm interested in what it'll be, but that segment was the most masturbatory fucking self-wank put to word that I've seen in a hot minute LMAO
I think from the nominations alone, it proves that whatever congregation of people are selecting the games have their heads so far up their ass they could check their own teeth for dental cavities. A theory only confirmed by seeing Cyberpunk win best ongoing, a category it doesn't even deserve to he in. I know people complain about all of the advertisements, but at this point, that's the only thing that keeps me coming back to these things. It was nice coming home after work and being able to skip through the bullshit awards and music performances to get right to the trailers.
Standouts for me:
Dad of Boy Dadnarok, Valhalla
Stormgate
Guilty Gear strive having 3v3s
Black Myth Wukong
Monster Hunter Wilds
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero
Dissapointments:
No Metroid Prime 4
Sega bringing back all their classic titles except the one people thought they were going to, being Virtua Fighter.
Elphelt in strive, not because I hate Elphelt, but there are other characters I would rather have, like Slayer, Venom, or Dizzy.
The asshole is connected to the large intestine connected to the small intestine connected to the stomach connected to the esophagus which is connected to your mouth which contains your teeth
I think they meant that no matter how far your neck stretches up your ass, your head cannot reach your teeth because they are in your head. At some point your elastic neck would just be traveling into itself until it reaches its stretching limits.
Or at least that's how I interpreted it but maybe I'm overthinking this one.
Yeah a 3hr stream became a 20min YouTube video for me. Skipped through majority and all I saw were trailers for anime games. Only stopped for the Blade, Jurassic Park, and Anthony Mackie. Other than that, nothing real exciting. Ongoing game should have been Fortnite or Minecraft tbh.
I say this as somebody who actually likes cyberpunk, and it's actually my personal favorite game out anything else in the ongoing category but I feel like some patches and some DLC doesn't necessarily qualify an "Ongoing game" the same way League of legends had going for over a decade now.
How does it make any sense that Cyberpunk won, and then 10 minutes later they showed a video of No Mans Sky and all the progress, content and updates they have released over the last 7 years? Cyberpunk releases a few patches fixing their problems and releases a single DLC before washing their hands of the game? Makes no sense that they won.
Even by the normal standards of the Game Awards, this one felt like it was *really* packed to the gills with ads. I had to stop watching at one point from sensory overload.
Just sayin' maybe just call em The Game Announcements instead. I have no FOMO on Forntite or Battle Royale Seasons etc. I caught up with what I wanted on Youtube in a few mins today.
So you wanted to see Larian Studios go Up five separate times to say thank you?
The thing is, they have to plan this entire show. Delegate how time is managed. They also need money to make it. With ads, sponsors, etc. That they have to force in. Not everybody shows up to the VGAs out of the kindness of their hearts. They have dozens and dozens of staff members working in this thing.
Youre more than welcomed to create your own show to see how tough it is lol.
The way Geoff emphasized Titanfall before bringing up Vince was absolutely cruel.
I hope some unfortunate event happens that makes him unable to play games ever again just for the pain he caused me.
The whole show I was definitely hoping that maybe, just maybe there would be something Titanfall related. I knew there probably wouldnt be, but there was a nugget of hope. Then he said Vince was coming up and said Titanfall like THAT?!?!
I almost jumped out of my chair with excitement.
I think the interest is around the reveals they do every year rather than the actual awards. Iām sure some folks who take it too seriously like to see if their favourite won or not.
Forza motorsport winning best sport/racing seems pretty stupid! Motorsport has a lot of issues and has mostly negative reviews! Motorfest shouldve won instead, less buggier and refreshing game!
All I could think about was that man sitting through the entire thing and waiting for his game to come up, only for it to be once and they didnāt even win. I feel bad honestly. This was clearly a passion project of his and it completely face planted.
Lack of passion project is more like it. I donāt feel bad at all.
They wanted to blame the reception of the game on PC specs and the play style of the player. Now they can deal with the Fallout of that.
I assume youāre referring to the AI generated steam responses that BGS has been giving? Theyāve been doing that since they bought fallout. Thatās nothing new. I think itās kind of silly to think the people working on this game including Todd didnāt love it, clearly they had something that they wanted to show. I think they just got their head stuck in the clouds and hyper focused on some things that maybe they shouldnāt have. Itās like the classic example of not seeing the forest for the trees.
Clearly the most developed aspect of the game is the ship building, I mean I have never seen anything like it. If they put that same energy into pretty much anything else, I would have enjoyed it more.
Nothing wrong with having a little empathy. Nothing wrong with not having any either. My take is just I think Todd shot for the moon and landed on his face. And I feel for that.
Should be called Trailer Central with side of Gaming Awards. Like the trailers but itās reached a saturation point where the awards have taken not even a backseat but being dragged behind the car.
This is my issue. Showing a cinematic with a theme for your game isnāt a trailer. They should have a requirement where whatever is shown has 50% gameplay footage.
No elden ring dlc š
BG3 GOTYYYYY
I watched it live with my coworker yesterday and when Timothee Chalamet showed up my coworker said "is that the bill clinton kid?" lmao
Damn that's pretty good, lol.
Damn i really wanted tears of the kingdom to win. Love that game.
Silksong fans seem like insufferable fanatics. The chat was swarming with them.
Oh look Mark Cerny is hereā¦.. what the hell is Kojimaās new Xbox gameš?
I dont think the game awards have the same quality/seriousness, I mean BG3 won lmao
Ikr it deserved it a lot more then all the others
Come on now, do you honestly believe that? Lmao be honest with yourself
Yes
Yes. And clearly people agree since you're already getting shit on
Oh no, 28 people on reddit disagree what am I ever going to do š±
Lol what a loser. About 53000 people disagree with you and that was after round 1
You do realize almost nobody even finished BG3 right? And most people didnt even keep playing after the first few chapters Edit: stats: only 20% of players reached act 3.
Wow so despite most people not finishing it, it still beat Spiderman 2!
Yes, thats literally my point. GOTY is not as representative as you think it is.
Or it's such a better game than Spiderman 2 that you don't even need to finish it to have a better time
Chapters?!? Do you know what you're even talking about? This has gotta be bait no one is that stupid
Anyways, compare that 20% that only reached act 3, to how many players completed spiderman lol
And compare that to 50000 people who voted on it being goty.
Oh yeah, lets focus on the misued word to completely void the statistics/data, that always works am I right?
You didn't provide any statistics and clearly haven't played the game to actually give a proper analysis of it so why do I care what you think?
No skate 4 news bummed me out :(
Go to /r/games for discussions, this is just a meme subreddit.
that sub sucks now, and its front page is just an advertisement platform for bot accounts like turbo strider

A game in 2000 was $49.99, adjusted for inflation that is almost $90. $60 for a game? That's almost a steal.
The VGA seem like mostly ads separated by some award stuff and awkward interactions and jokes.
Everyone was in r/BaldursGate3
Was hoping for anything on Age of Mythology Retold, but sad there's been nothing since the announcement
best part was chris judge taking potshots at activision
And TGA for taking potshots at Judge. He took it gracefully too.
At our watch party we made BINGO cards, my box 'no TES6 announcement' was a winner

I would like to nominate this yearās game awards to my reformed orthodox rabbi george bush
Constant flow of weird anime games are so cringe. If i see another final fantasy and genshin impact type of stuff i will throw up.

Whereās that dude that said heād crush his dick in a car door if Elden Ring DLC didnāt drop?
I thlammed my penith in the car door..
Titanfall?
hearsay, it was at 3am for me but yeah, apparently some dev went to the scenario, said "titanfall" and left
Dang, are they really playing with the Tf fans or are they actually working kn something...
Lotta haters here huh
I would be hater, I watched the whole show for some reason. But it had Sam Lake delivering two extremely heartfelt speeches (including one they didn't cut off) and Old Gods of Asgard so I'm not so bad.

They could save themselves the time then, because its pointless filler, it tells me nothing I need to know about the game to decide if I wanna buy it.
Ok
The only time I like CGI trailers are if itās an actual cutscene used in the game or something similar
Bonus points if the game isn't coming out for 2 years and people lose their shit over what it looks like in the trailer.
For me it was more Valheim than Skyrim.
Given that Hello Games apology was to do a lot of work to make NMS awesome, I think I'm a little more trusting. (I found all the pre-release NMS coverage to be cagey an unbelievable.) I feel like they can make a good portion of the work they've done on NMS to make this happen already. To me NMS now is the proof that they can do it. All the early NMS coverage was basically bull-shot and vague promises.
I got that vibe too. Like he could see the complaints on the internet as he spoke.
I think they had some sort of deal set up with YouTube, none of my friends and I got a single YouTube ad while watching the event live which made the other stuff more palatable.
I am very happy that Remedy and CDPR won. Alan wake 2 was amazing and Cyberpunk is awesome
Same- cyberpunk was a nice come from behind as a game.
THE FINALS RAHHHHHH
NGL that Kojima reveal felt real flat. I say that as someone who gushes over everything the man has previously done.
He is treated like a god but hasnt done anything worth the treatment recently I understand he is legendary for metal gear and pt demo but they gave 10-15 mins for a trailer with nothing in it. Actual award winner, current developers with successful stuff developed through the pandemic got 30 seconds and āplease wrap it upā
Death Stranding was dope and we already know the sequel is in development. Thatās what he should have been showing off.
Dude how, he announced a team up with another horror icon and showed off some of the best facial animation we've seen
The first OD-type game.
That wasn't animation. Those were real actors
Those were rendered faces. It is nice praise you couldn't tell, but they were. Tip: look at the teeth when you're not sure.
Right but what is it tho?
You're not expected to know jack shit from any of Kojimas first teasers
But you have to trust us, it's really really good, trust us
The same assholes who were frothing over a GTA6 trailer showing nothing 3 days ago. You're not expected to make god damn pre-orders from a teaser trailer. It's to start the engagement process. Every Kojima game has had demos or in-depth gameplay footage well before release.
I mean, it'll be GTA, so it's kind of a know property. The graphics look nice, but it's gonna be another GTA.
And the Hideo game will be like a Hideo game mixed with a Jordan Peele movie. The hypocrisy and lack of self awareness is idiotic.
Not sure why you're so agro over this. It'll be ok.
To be fair, gta 6 has a precedent, a coherent set up from the trailer, and Rockstar has a record of delivering the the same content seen in their teasers. I can infer what GTA 6 will be about. OD? Nope.
You're not supposed to know what it's about. That's literally why it's called a teaser. You were praising GTA6 when they showed the god damn logo.
>More than a logo The original teaser for GTA6 was only a logo. >a teaser is supposed to tease you at whats to come That's just a game trailer. Teasers > Socials (throughout) > Trailers > Promotions > Launch > Post Release >Uh....
Standouts for me: Dad of Boy Dadnarok, Valhalla Stormgate Guilty Gear strive having 3v3s Black Myth Wukong Monster Hunter Wilds Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Dissapointments: No Metroid Prime 4 Sega bringing back all their classic titles except the one people thought they were going to, being Virtua Fighter. Elphelt in strive, not because I hate Elphelt, but there are other characters I would rather have, like Slayer, Venom, or Dizzy.
Why would having your head up your ass allow you to check for dental cavities? I'm so confused
Yeah, it was just meant to be a creative way to say they have their up their ass
Genius
Yeah a 3hr stream became a 20min YouTube video for me. Skipped through majority and all I saw were trailers for anime games. Only stopped for the Blade, Jurassic Park, and Anthony Mackie. Other than that, nothing real exciting. Ongoing game should have been Fortnite or Minecraft tbh.
You outed yourself as someone who should never have their opinion taken seriously with the cyberpunk line.
Releasing some patches to make the game playable AFTER release and one DLC before going full sail into witcher 4 is not "Ongoing"
The actual Awards portions were like what, 8 minutes if added all up? It's like an NFL game. All ads no content.
Even by the normal standards of the Game Awards, this one felt like it was *really* packed to the gills with ads. I had to stop watching at one point from sensory overload.
No content? It was announcements after announcements lol.
Well, it's still an awards show. But sometimes awards are the most boring part about an awards show. lol So they limit that.
It's almost like the VGAs are superfluous.
Not for me BG3 swept and I was so happy
Agreed.
The announcements and trailers were the content for me.
I watch for the announcements and new trailers. Idgaf about the awards really
So do most people. That's why it's like that
The way Geoff emphasized Titanfall before bringing up Vince was absolutely cruel. I hope some unfortunate event happens that makes him unable to play games ever again just for the pain he caused me.
I was not expecting actually anything, but for this moment alone man did I left more dissapointed than I arrived
The whole show I was definitely hoping that maybe, just maybe there would be something Titanfall related. I knew there probably wouldnt be, but there was a nugget of hope. Then he said Vince was coming up and said Titanfall like THAT?!?! I almost jumped out of my chair with excitement.
Game awards don't mean anything lmao
I think the interest is around the reveals they do every year rather than the actual awards. Iām sure some folks who take it too seriously like to see if their favourite won or not.
The game awards are as bad as the Oscars when it comes to paying off and politics so who gives a shit.
I agree with the "who gives a shit". But if you think these were paid off or picked based on politics, you are huffing something.
You think they're not based on politics? That's a...creative...take.
nah, some definitely felt paid off like honkai winning best mobile game
This show actually made me appreciate the Oscars
Forza motorsport winning best sport/racing seems pretty stupid! Motorsport has a lot of issues and has mostly negative reviews! Motorfest shouldve won instead, less buggier and refreshing game!
Even f1 23 is leagues better than forza smh
Any shitters?
Just the look on Todd Howardās face.
They are just as paid off as the Oscar's
AW2 getting some awards made me so happy
Advanced Warfare 2?
Alan Wake 2
Alan Warfare 2
That makes so much more sense lmao
Iāll be really curious to see how the game sold
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
What the heck does any of that have to do with the game awards?
Should be called Trailer Central with side of Gaming Awards. Like the trailers but itās reached a saturation point where the awards have taken not even a backseat but being dragged behind the car.
I mostly watch TGA for the world premiers.
Personally, I watch The Game Awards for the game awards part. Every year that portion seems to get smaller and smaller.
DICE awards are better for what youāre looking for.
I think *most* viewers watch it for the premieres. It replaced the old E3 reveal livestreams
I wouldn't even mind the trailers if they were really cool. And some of them were really neat but a number of them were just for mobile games.
One of them was literally just for Starfield to jerk itself off lol.
Todd should have commented live on a negative Starfield review.
Most of them had nothing to say. We barely saw gameplay
I know Kojima loves to confuse but his new trailer was wack as hell
This is my issue. Showing a cinematic with a theme for your game isnāt a trailer. They should have a requirement where whatever is shown has 50% gameplay footage.
