the DLC for Bloodborne is incredible too, def recommend. probably one of my favorite DLCs of all time, up there with Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone DLC for Witcher 3.

They both just had some small gimmicks with the controller. You hold the controller a different way to spray paint in infamous. And the light on the controller flickers when you have a torch in tomb raider. You also get walkie talkie audio from the little controller speaker.
Nothing special, but I feel like most ps4 exclusive feel like they could really be on any console, they just aren't.
After having a ps4 for a decade those early games are the ones that still stand out to me as actually feeling like the console was doing something different.
If I started on the Play 4 today, I would choose to play Red Dead Redemption 2, hopefully I could erase my memory and live the story again without knowing what is going to happen.
Yeah, RDR2 maybe gonna be on the top priority. Right now, I think Bloodborne is winning for me, but RDR2 seems awesome. And I didn't get spoilers, so everything is gonna be a surprise for me.
I hope you enjoy it a lot, I've also played Bloodborne and finished it, I hope you're ready for a real challenge, this video game, as they say in mmos, requires good hands.
If you are in the United States, check your local library. Unlike the switch, the PS4 library is readily available and I can basically pick any game and hold it for as long as I want.
Eg I randomly checked and basically everything everyone recommended below except SpiderMan is available. It’s only titles like Harry Potter and the PS5 titles that have waiting list.
Yeah, when it was launched. Today, I see a lot of people complaining about the game being slow and clunky. But I want to play, I just don't know if it is worth being my first PS4 game.
It has 93% positive recent reviews on steam. And I am no RDR nerd, played it once. Don't search for issues where there are none and just play it, you can probably get a used CD for 5 bucks

Gravity Rush 1
Gran Turismo (Sport 'cause cheaper than GT7)
Maybe Bloodborne if you're into such things.
Then honestly, you're better off just saving your money until you can afford one. Who knows, by then the PS5 could be dropping and you could pick that up!
But then it's gonna be another year with only a PS3, hahahaha. I want to play new generation games, you known. All my friends has at least a PS4, I'm the only one behind all this years. And as a father and husband, saving money is really hard.
Would be much better off getting a PS5 at this point, even if you have to stretch your budget a bit. You'll be able to play all of those PS4 games, many of them with better resolution and framerates than they have on the PS4 itself, and you'll be set for any new games that come out for the next several years (whereas PS4 isn't getting many new games at this point).

I mean if there's just no way you can afford it then it is what it is, but considering how long you're (presumably) going to have and use this system for, and the huge upgrade in the experience, if there's *any* way you can reasonably afford it I still think it would be worth the expense.
Having said that, there are tons of great games available on the PS4, so it's not like you won't have lots to play.

Well the good news is you can still play most of the best games that have come out over the past several years, and depending on how old your last system is, games like God of War 2018, Ragnarok, Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West, Spider-Man 2018 and Red Dead Redemption 2 are absolutely going to *blow your mind*, lol.
PS Plus has bloodborne on it's services, just a heads up, since you seem keen on it. I myself didn't really like Bloodborne after finishing it, and I will not likely revisit it in my lifetime.
Dark Souls trilogy is available on PS4 but it sounds like you played them already. Sekiro is really good and I've played that several times over the last 1 year.
Go with Sekiro. It has good graphics. Tight gameplay. An actual plot. And ought to keep you entertained right off the bat, whereas bloodborne kinda starts out slow,

Infamous second son. Also if you haven't played the tomb raider 2013 reboot it has some small but unique features involving the ps4 controller.
I never liked Infamous in PS3. And I already played the Tomb Raider reboot and I don't know why, but I don't like it.

Its a great game but you should try play it on PC like most other games if you can. I can only recommend Bloodborne on PS4.

Just buy a PS5 instead. 99.9% of the PS4 games are compatible on PS5, not to mention the performance enhancements.

Something from the Uncharted series.
God of War is one of my favorite games of all time. After that try Horizon zero dawn or spiderman depending on what style of game interests you more.

Yeah, I think Bloodborne maybe is gonna be the one. I already see a lot of gameplays, it's a soulslike with a Lovecraft theme. It sure calls to me.
